So upsetting!

The location was excellent

There was a foul smell coming from a closet in the master bedroom. I called the customer service number and got a manager who told us to wait until the next day for assistance. I explained that the floor was wet and might be a leak, they came and shut off the water and told us we could not stay, we could not get comfortable or unpack. While we finally went to dinner, we were given another code to a house that was not at all what we wished to stay in. We had no where else to go that night so we stayed reluctantly. There was a non working fireplace, no water view (we were assured it would be from the manager) , a foul smelling room upstairs, a taped up whole in the ceiling of the master bedroom that looked like it was a bad leak, no family bikes ,just 1 kid bike, in the garage and the worst customer service. The next morning I called them only to be told " we can't help you any further" with bouts of awkward silence. We were told that if we chose to leave, we would get a refund. Without warning, after the call, we decided to talk it over on the front porch and tried to go back inside and the code was immediately changed and denied us access. Luckily our grandson was inside to let us in. We felt bullied and decided that this was their way of saying to leave the property. No one answered the phone for us at all! We took our things and had to purchase another accomodations for $1047. This was devastating to our wallet as we would be on a 6 day vacation with a limited budget. We demanded a full refund and have only received $300 so far. We feel that the disrespect and inconvenience of our stay ( not even 24 hours) was the worst trip experience we've been on and we demand a full refund. We also left out grandsons scooter at 10 Sycamore and no one answered the phone or returned our call to retrieve it.
