The Neighborhood:
The Garden District was built in the mid-19th century and is one of the most scenic and wealthy areas of all New Orleans. Lush, manicured trees and grand, historic mansions line the streets, making it an oasis away from the bustle of the French Quarter and perfect for strolling. Find yourself within walking distance to popular Magazine Street which offers both upscale dining, craft cocktails and rare antiques as well as dive bars and eclectic boutiques.

Other nearby attractions include the Audubon Park & Zoo, Lafayette Cemetery, and Commander’s Palace. The French Quarter is a quick 12 minute car ride away. My personal favorite coffee house, Mojo, is right on the corner!

Getting Around:
Many attractions can be enjoyed by foot, but for further adventures, there are plenty of transportation options. There is a nearby blue bike share hub at the northeast corner of Annunciation Center Park. Enjoy a quick 8-minute walk to St. Charles Ave. and you will find the historic streetcar, taking you anywhere from the French Quarter to Audubon Park. Street parking is easy to find if you bring a rental car. Additionally, taxis and ride shares such as Uber and Lyft, also operate heavily in the area.

Distance to the following:

-French Quarter: 12 minutes by car or 30 minutes by streetcar
-Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport: 20 minutes by car
-Convention Center: 4 minutes by car
-Tulane University: 13 minutes by car or 30 minutes by streetcar
-Streetcar Access: 8-minute walk to Stop #267 at Felicity St and St. Charles Ave.

Other Things to Note:
Terrific for family gatherings, or to come and visit NOLA for Mardi Gras, Jazz Fest, etc.
I have additional spaces if needed, please feel free to message me with any requests.

There is one security camera on the property located at the front entrance. This is recording 24/7 for security purposes.

Great big house with lots of bedrooms, great kitchin, pool table and nice pool. Nicely decorated and convenient neighborhood. Nothing bad to say, but the house has no closets so you are living out of your suitcase.

I rented this place for a few days around Essence to host a book signing and for overnight accommodations for what turned out to be two guests. Since I can read I asked the hosts upfront if the book signing was a permissible use of the space. It was so I booked. The book signing was scheduled for 5pm-8pm. We were immediately harassed by both a neighbor and the host because “the music was too loud.” IT WAS 5PM! Additionally there is a lot of surveillance happening at the house as the host called me yelling about 30 signals in the house. On to the house itself. The AC is severely lacking and at one point the host began cranking the heat, I assume in an effort to get me to leave. The rooms were hot as hell, there was mold present and the house is not as great as the pictures. The pool was also dirty even though the hosts claim it’s cleaned weekly and as a pool owner I know what it looks like when you have weekly maintenance. It was not just a few leaves as the host suggested. The racism and unprofessional behavior displayed by both the host and the neighbor were absolutely stunning. Regular people should not be in the “hotel/bnb” business.

Gorgeous home in eclectic historical neighborhood. Loved and enjoyed by 9 Seniors even though the stairs were challenging. Decor beautiful and gathering areas spacious. We had some glitches with the plumbing which were promptly repaired. We especially loved being close to Magazine Street, the Bus Stop, and Mojo’s.

We invited family to celebrate our daughter's Medical School graduation May 18th and were thrilled with this property. While initially 10 were booked, 7 ended up coming but we would have had plenty of room for 10 with the 6 bedrooms. The interior and exterior living space is much bigger than it appears from the street. There is a great deal of welcoming entertaining space in both the front and back of the home, with an open concept, well stocked kitchen with plenty of counter seating. Every bedroom is good sized and all our guests commented on the comfortable beds. For those not familiar with these old gracious NOLA homes, you will love the high ceilings and charming furnishings but come prepared for no closets and minimal storage. The back yard pool is such a bonus. Its flowing waterfall keeps it fresh and cool. We would have liked some more pool chairs and beach towels but the host was accommodating to that request and we found some camp chairs. Truly the best part for me, the organizer, was how responsive and helpful the host was for every communication, even months before our arrival. We loved the location, just one block off Magazine Street with great coffee shops, restaurants and funky stores and a 10 minute walk to the St Charles street cars.

Awesome house, great location. Slight issue at check in but that was a VRBO issue. Property manager quickly resolved. Would recommend this house for a large group headed to NOLA

Don't let the lack of curb appeal sway you, this home is absolutely lovely. As soon as you enter you feel the historic Southern charm. Yet the kitchen and bathrooms have all the modern amenities. It's a perfect blend. With 6 bedrooms there is plenty of space for everyone to have privacy (and beds are very comfortable), and the living room is spacious enough for everyone to gather together. The highlight of the home is the small heated swimming pool in the backyard. We took a dip every day we were there! My only suggestion would be to provide pool towels, so guests don't have to use the bath towels, as well as more outside seating when not in the pool. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We will definitely rent again when we return to NOLA.

Great house in a prime location. We had three families staying together, and it was wonderful to have large, comfortable communal spaces and our own bedrooms/bathrooms to retreat to. The pool was a hit with everyone, and seems like a little oasis. Very easy to communicate with the owners when needed.
