About this house rental
Enjoy open concept living: kitchen & living room on main floor are one large space with a wood-buring fireplace and spectacular views across lake. Main floor has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The master bedroom suite has a queen bed and a 3/4 bath with steam shower. The second bedroom has a full sized lower bunk with upper single plus a crib. The third bedroom has two twin beds. These two bedrooms share a full bath. There is a wrap-around deck with lounge chairs and umbrellas for sun-bathing and a screened porch with dining set on this main level all overlooking the lake.
Lower level daylight walkout features large sliding glass doors that let the sunlight pour in while permitting great views of lake. There is an entertainment area with a full sized sectional couch that affords comfortable viewing of a 55 inch panasonic plasma with surround sound and blu-ray player. There is a second large fridge and wet-bar area on this lower level. There are both a bunk-room (sleeps 3 plus extra mattress) and another bedroom (queen bed) and a full bath/laundry room on this lower level. Walking out the sliders of the lower level leads to a ground-level deck with sitting area and a 6-person hot tub.

We had an amazing stay on this lakeside property which had all the necessities (canoes, kyaks, paddle boards) and great views from the beach. The house was extremely clean and also had everything you need to make your vacation complete. We highly recommend this property

The first overall impression is great (pond, beach, fire pit, chairs, hot tub, toys for children, plenty of bedrooms and beds). The negatives mainly have to do with cleanliness and water pressure. We stay at a lot of rentals so we know what to expect. The fridge was hard to get past, especially for a rental property. There should not be dirt caked on, hair, and expired foods and condiments. One of the requirements when leaving the property is cleaning the dishes and putting them away. We had to clean the dishes before using them because whoever used them prior didn’t clean them very well. The water pressure was probably the worst part. We have a large family so we accumulate a lot of dishes and the kitchen sink water basically trickled out. The property itself is really beautiful but I feel like it needs to be taken care of better or maybe a new cleaning company. Besides the issues mentioned, it was an enjoyable place to stay! Thank you!

This is our second time staying on Lovewell Pond. We really like being able to kayak to the Saco from the pond and having the Mountain Division Trail across the road to walk/run on, as well as the convenience to town and North Conway--not to mention it is just a pretty spot. The house has great views, and it is good to have the screened porch and the deck as options for places to sit outdoors. It was buggy on the two cloudy days we were there, but fine on the two sunny days. With the high water the beach in the picture was covered but you could still just swim in the lake from the grass. And the owner was good about giving us the heads up. All in all, our four days just wasn't quite long enough!

Two families shared this property for four nights for the 4th of July. Comfortably slept our 9 people (4 adults and 5 children ages 8 to 13). We brought our own boat and there is a boat launch not far away (no marina on the lake though). We enjoyed boating and fishing when the weather cooperated. There were not many boats on the lake considering it was a holiday. The water level on the lake was at least 5 feet higher than usual though, so the nice sandy beach shown in the photos was completely submerged. The owner informed us of this in advance, and it did not really impact our stay.

This house is in a great location for summer or winter. Has all the amenities you would need. The owner was great to work with. We stayed with young kids and they loved it! We will be back again next year!

Great Ski house
Perfect location in a cozy cabin on a lake. East access to Attitash, Cranmore, and Shawnee made this a great ski house along with close proximity to restaurants, grocery stores, etc.

This was a great place to stay if you're looking for a relaxing and fun ski weekend. The house had plenty of room and was very clean. Beautiful view from the hot tub. Ken was easy to talk to and get in touch with. Definitely recommend!

Great Ice Fishing Experience
Had a wonderful time. Enjoyed ice fishing all day and relaxing in the hot tub and playing games at night. Went out to dinner at the 302 Smokehouse (5 minute drive) and had an amazing dinner. Must try. Caught some monster pickerel they the ice. My son caught the biggest one I’ve ever seen. Great time overall. Highly recommend.

We are a group of fire instructors from out of state, we were in the area to train with the local departments. This rental allowed us all to stay together rather than in a bunch of hotel rooms two towns away.

Family Lake Life At Its Best
This property is tucked at the end of a dead-end road offering privacy and one of the best lakefront beaches I have ever seen. Also, this house is close to the center of downtown Fryeburg. Our favorite aspects were: 1. The hammock by the beach, 2. View from the deck, 3. Hot tub, and funny enough, 4. The kitchen desk for the kids homework.

Outstanding family in a peaceful location
Had a change of plans on our original summer vacation. Suddenly needed a place for a small family gathering that would range from the matriarch of our family (83 years) to a couple tweens (12,13,14). Couldn't believe how lucky we were to find this place and these hosts! Everything as awesome as summarized in the other reviews and then some! Lovewell Pond is peaceful yet active. We'll be back.

Perfect for a large family vacation.
There were more than enough beds, canoes, kayaks and paddle board for the entire family to enjoy! The furniture was worn but comfortable and the hime was roomy. I don’t think I can find a more perfect fit for our family.

Great Location
We had a nice time on our weekend trip. The weather was perfect and we used the yard and fire pit a lot. The house was just the right size for our group. Definitely has a rustic feel but was what we were expected and had a great time.

Fantastic retreat
A perfect escape for our young family to a winter wonderland. The house is beautifully maintained, plenty of space for our family of five and lots to do outdoors including sledding, skating and cross country skiing. The hot tub was a big plus!

Quiet retreat
We had a wonderful time at this house! There were so many things to like: a quiet, sheltered location, a large space in which to spread out, a beautiful view of Lovewell Lake that we could enjoy from the back deck, the lawn, the lower deck, the two fire pits and a private secluded beach. We had two of our grandsons with us (ages 2 & 5) and they were near and in the water as much as possible (they had their first kayak ride with their Dad). They climbed rocks on the side of the beach and explored the woods. Their parents were grateful for a chance to leave them to Meme & PaPere and get a much-needed break! We had a great time together and hope to come back to the area soon.

Very relaxing!
We had a great week by the lake. We even saw a double rainbow. The house is a perfect set up. Plenty of room. We spent most of our time by the water. Beach area was plenty big enough to play games. Great trip!

We had a great stay!
We went ice fishing, snowshoeing and sledding. After a long day of playing and exploring we enjoyed the hot hub and a nice fire in the fireplace.
Located close to stores and take out.
We had a question and the owner got right back to us.

Relaxing Hideaway!
The absolute best!!! This is our second summer staying here with family. My brother and I have three girls exactly the same ages. The house is perfect to accommodate all of us. Literally everything is at the house you need! The private beach offers a welcomed easy place to relax with the kids. Swimming, paddle boarding and playing in the sand. The dock is in the perfect depth for kids to swim out and enjoy. When you want to really take a dip it’s easy to bring it out to deeper water and jump off without touching the bottom. The area is secluded enough but still close to downtown Fryeburg which offers some great little spots to eat & hike! Venture on down to North Conway for outlet shopping and more local breweries. This was our first year trying tubing with the older 2 from each family (6 & 4). We decided to give Saco Bound a try. Heads up! Especially with littles - make sure they give you the correct instructions. What was supposed to be 30-40 mins ended up being 3 hrs! Overall the house is a true gem! Nights can be spent around the fire and in the hot tub over looking the gorgeous scenery! I’m so glad we found this spot and hope to make it a yearly tradition with family.

Great family vacation spot
The lake house was very comfortable for our family of 7. There was plenty of room for spreading out so each of us could have quiet, private time if desired. The lake was lovely and we all thoroughly enjoyed it - especially the paddle boards. No one in our family had used them before, but they were all very comfortable on them after just a few minutes. Thanks to the owners for making them available, along with the tandem kayak. So much fun! I would recommend water shoes because the bottom of the lake is really mushy and the water level is shallow for quite a bit. But since most of our time was floating on top, the mushy bottom really didn't matter much! We loved having the screened porch - no bees or other insects trying to eat our lunches or bothering us in the evenings. Brian was quick to respond to our one text message. Great experience!

Perfect spot for family vacation!
We loved this home for our families to gather on vacation! There was plenty of room to spread out. We loved having all of the sun chairs and the amazing collection of kayaks and paddle boards....no need to bring your own! The beach is lovely.....gradual and sandy with no algae or undergrowth. The hot tub was a hit as well! The covered deck downstairs and screened porch upstairs were perfect for storm watching. We also loved how you could most easily access the bike path directly from Hattie Pike. The house was close enough to North Conway for easy access but far enough away to enjoy the serenity of the lake. The lake was active but super quiet. There are several farmstands nearby that were fantastic. The kitchen is well stocked with utensils and dishes. We also loved that we could easily park our 4 vehicles in the driveway. My only wish for this home is for a larger dining table. We just used the outdoor picnic tables (adult and kids) on the deck which worked out great most days. I strongly recommend this property for a peaceful get-a-way!

Great winter experience
Our 3 families stayed there for a short week during winter break and we all had a blast!
The proximity of the (frozen) lake for ice fishing, snowshoeing and XCskiing was a big hit. Fryeburg, with its convenient stores and restaurants, is only a very short drive away, even during the snowy winter.
The house itself, with its full furnished basement, alias the "kids'territory", was exactly what we were looking for!
The owners were very responsive when we faced a minor issue with the hot tub and, needless to say that being in the hot tub, overlooking the frozen lake when it's snowing outside, was an awesome experience for the kids and the parents!
We highly recommend this place! Thanks for having us Bryan!

GREAT family-friendly lakefront home
GREAT vacation home: lakefront with large, private, quiet, sandy beach with gradual entry and mountain views. And loons.
Its 5 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms easily accommodated our family of 6 adults and 4 young children. Downstairs has a large open area for indoor play with toys and games for kids and a second fridge and wet bar. This floor became a suite for our daughter, her husband, and their 3 kids. We appreciated that bed linens and towels were supplied, easing our packing requirements. Since this floor lacks a closet, though, some provision or bureau would be helpful to store clothes that are otherwise kept in suitcases on the floor. Upstairs bedrooms have generous closets and bureaus.
Within 20 to 40 min of other ME and NH family favorites: N Conway, Storyland, Kancamagus Hgwy and its trails and waterfalls (swimming!), Sacco River canoe rentals, Echo Lake, Hurricane Mountain Road, Sherman Farms...
Landlord, Brian, was responsive, pleasant, and flexible with our schedule. Thank you, Brian. We’ll definitely be back.

Great vacation.
Beautiful setting on the lake. Very quiet. We enjoyed fishing from the boat that was provided. The kids had a great time swimming. We would definitely go there again.
