Wonderful host, wonderful house, wonderful village

The house has the most amazing view over water, village and valley, and is situated a short walk from great restaurants. We didn’t rent a car, but didn’t need one either, as walking is perfectly doable (if in average physical shape). Suzanne was a wonderful host, who helped us book a taxi and answered questions almost immediately. The house itself comfortably fit a group of 5, and we enjoyed both terraces and the pool. Would definitely stay here again!

The place was so close to perfect, our only complaint comes down to personal preference. Two of the beds were on the firmer side, and we would have liked the option of maybe having a softer mattress topper. But there was LITERALLY nothing else critical to say about this place.

fantastic views and position and a short walk into town

The views from the Villa are exceptional and the location at the top of the village, and a short walk into Town, was equally enjoyed. The Manager Suzanne was very good throughout the process, responding via WhatsApp and meeting us outside the village so we could follow her and her husband up through the village to the villa. The villa was clean and tidy, the dish washer was so useful as was the washing machine. The pool was clean and the bbq good. if you wanted it, the tv is tuned into to English channels. The beds are firm but comfortable and two bathrooms for 2 couples to share is good.

observations to improve the overall experience would be; having a basic welcome pack for guests (add an extra €20 or so) to have on arrival, bread, milk, butter, perhaps beer, wine , local honey etc. Additionally the absence of any herbs, spices, additional loo roles, salt pepper etc meant that day 1 is a big shop at Lidl. We did check with Suzanne beforehand and she did say that there we would need to buy all that we wanted , so I have no complaints on that score, but the lack of bin bags and only two toilet roles to last the week between 4 adults was optimistic. I would also recommend a 4 wheel drive vehicle, as the drive up the side of the hill is challenging if not a confident driver.

Exceptional

The villa was clean & spacious and the views to the ocean & mountains were amazing! To be on the edge of the village felt remote enough but still safe, & to have a pool in Frigiliana is fantastic!

We have been on holiday to Frigiliana many times so know the village well - walking from the top to the bottom & back again may be tiring for some, if you don’t know the shorter routes. The road to the villa is narrow but we didn’t meet another car all week, very quiet.

Wonderful family trip to a beautiful Spanish town - we hope to return!

A spacious, clean villa close to the stunning town of Frigliana. Beautiful views and great pool.

A small welcome pack would be great (some dishwasher tablets etc) and they could also include map of the town in the house file. We had no car and the walk up to the villa from the plaza can be brutal in the heat, however it’s a gorgeous walk and it helped us walk off all the amazing food and drinks!

it was a very relaxing stay. The villa and the pool were lovely, not over looked at all. Suzanne the owner couldn’t have

the location and the view were amazing, it was in such a peaceful location.

There was nothing to dislike about the property, but it is a very steep walk up to it from the village.

Great views , but difficult accessibility.

The main positives of this property are its spectacular views from a high level and its pool and large deck. It is on the edge of this cute quiet village Frigiliana. Spectacular scenery!

The biggest negative is its accessibility. You have two choices to access this property: walk through the village up a mountain for about 10 min, or drive 2 km on a narrow two-way, partially paved, uneven road along the edge of a mountain with a sharp drop off on one side. If a vehicle comes in the opposite direction you are out of luck because there are only a couple of places along the way where two vehicles can attempt to pass and no way to back up. Driving into the driveway of the property requires automotive acrobatics. Property did not have any of the supplies normal found.We found no: coffee, tea, salt, pepper, shampoo, garbage bags, toilet tissues, paper towels, etc. Sofa was old and beat up. Refrigerator was acting up also.
