With its own private year round outdoor hot tub, you are surrounded by acres of green paddocks and our 1 acre carp and coarse fishing lake. It's the perfect setting for families or groups of friends who want to relax and get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

Our Luxury Lodges (opened Feb 2019) overlook our private 1 acre fishing lake and have spectacular views over The Chiltern Hills (an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty). Each lodge has its own private veranda and outdoor hot tub and all beds feature award winning Simba hybrid mattresses, pillows and quilts and have Egyptian Cotton bedding.

Each lodge has a fully fitted kitchen with oven, hob, dishwasher, microwave and all items required to undertake some serious home from home cooking.

Our 1 Bedroom lodges have the bonus of a 2 person Sauna located in the luxurious ensuite bathroom, which features a free standing bath and separate walk-in shower.

The Pool House (opened May 2016) is our studio chalet which can sleep 4. It features a private seasonally heated outdoor swimming pool, enclosed fenced in garden area and a year round outdoor hot tub. The Pool House has a Tempur memory foam mattress with Egyptian Cotton bedding.

For birdwatchers, our fishing lake is surrounded by trees and is home to red kites, kingfishers, sparrowhawks, woodpeckers, buzzards, kestrels, ducks, moor hens, pheasants and some very friendly robins and wrens. In the evening you are likely to see foxes, badgers, rabbits, munt jack and deer.

With two public footpaths running through the farm, walkers and cyclists can quickly and easily get on to the Phoenix trail and The Ridgeway, with miles upon miles of footpaths and bridleways to explore.

If you are an angler, then you have unlimited and inclusive access to fish our 1 acre carp and coarse lake during your stay.

All of our accommodation have LG Smart 4K UHD TV's in the main living area along with a Sky+ HD satellite receiver with Entertainment, Movies and Sky Sports channels. Each TV also has access to Netflix 4K streaming content and catch-up TV (BBC iPlayer, ITV Hub, All 4 & Demand5).

We (mum, dad, 2 teenagers & dog)had a fantastic weekend in the cabin. We ordered pizza on Friday which was delivered without any fuss. On Saturday we spent the day in Oxford and then had booked a roast in the Peacock on Sunday thanks to a suggestion in the Welcome pack. In addition to all that we had sunset hot tubs each evening. Highly recommend! It was so peaceful and relaxing.

Last week my boyfriend surprised me with a trip to Chiltern Vacation homes. And what an experience we had. Not only was the lodge absolutely beautiful, cosy and romantic…it’s so well equipped. There’s everything you could possible need. Including tea, coffee and milk, plastics for the hot tub, towels, robes and flip flops. The hot tub itself it’s so idyllic, and at night it can only be described as magical. The surrounding area is luscious, quiet, green and the perfect escape from the big city.

Stunning location, surrounded by nature and close to fabulous walks and cosy pubs. Comfortable and well equipped lodge, and we thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub! The accommodation played a significant role in the enjoyment of our holiday as it was such a pleasant and relaxing place to be. We hope to return as soon as possible. Thank you.

This was our 2nd stay in Red Kite lodge and it didn't disappoint. Very clean, comfortable, everything you need for a stay and the hot tub at sunset and sunrise is beautiful. Great information in the guest guide - we followed one of Gary's walks, it had some stunning views. We also visited The Peacock pub - definitely worth a visit.

We stayed in Redkite Lodge, from the booking to the stay, the whole experience has been 1st class. Amazing accommodation, incredibly clean, secluded and quiet yet so well located for exploring the area. Red Kites flying above, walking around the fishing lake, watching the horses in the equestrian area of the farm/property all added to a wonderful stay. 4 Adults and 1 9 year old left feeling very happy, relaxed and very well catered for. Thank you Gary (owner) who was so kind, good fun and helped us out. Amazing 5 star stay. Thank you

Beautiful setting. Spacious and modern lodge. Great shower and great hot tub. All amenities we could need were there. Would definitely come back again. Only issue might be that noise travelled very easily through lodge but that wasn't an issue for us.

We wanted a base outside London for our family to meet up. The lodges were a perfect base. They were very clean, well equipped and on a really lovely equestrian property. Gary is very knowledgeable about the local area and was able to assist with recommending places to eat and walks to take. The red kites in the area were lovely to see and it was nice to see the fishing lake being well used as well.

We loved the lodge. It is superbly equipped and maintained.We were very comfortable and the hot tub was a winner. The information folder was really helpful and we got lots of tips from it .The setting for the lodge is excellent and it is so peaceful. It was great being able to watch the wildlife from the lodge and it made our weekend to see the red kites so often, and watching the antics of the ducks and geese.

Brilliant stay

Beautiful location with amazing walks and views of the horses in the morning and fishing on the lake. Very clean property with a close by pub serving lovely food. Very easy holiday with the brilliant hot tub and lots of close parking. Really enjoyed the stay.
