About this bed and breakfast

The Cowshed is our upside down room. Your large bedroom is downstairs with super King sized bed and views to your private courtyard garden. There is a single bed and seocnd pull out bed downstairs so ideal for a family stay. Upstairs you have a spacious lounge, open plan gallery style, with a large comfy sofa and flat screen TV, a perfect place to relax at the end of the day. You’ll love the stylish, convenient and easy-to-use Nespresso coffee machine – we think it produces an almost perfect cup of coffee! In the bathroom we turn back the clock with Victorian style design and large shower, with room for two. Fluffy towels, robes and luxury toiletries are of course included

You have your own front door for complete privacy and a private court yard garden. The room has a fridge and glasses in case you want to enjoy a glass of wine or champagne. As an extra treat If you would like to have breakfast in your room we will happily bring a full English breakfast or homemade waffles to your door for you to enjoy in the comfort of your own lounge or maybe outside in the early morning sunshine on the deck in your own little garden.
Based down a quiet country lane with views across farm land to the sea the Dairy Barns is a purpose designed red brick barn conversation locatated on our family farm with a selection of 6 lovely rooms and 3 extra special rooms with a stunning main breakfast barn and coastal themed lounge. Take a closer look….

Our 6 rooms, all on the ground floor – Dahlia, Norfolk Lavender, Red Poppy, Sunrise, Seaside and King fisher – each beautifully colour-themed. They are very comfortable, spacious, well-equipped, and all come with those important little finishing touches such as homemade cake and fresh milk on arrival, toiletries,delightful fresh flowers and of course television and well stocked hot drinks tray. They all en-suite with shower cubicle and luxury towels and have wonderfully comfy twin or super king size beds with crisp linen and cosy, pretty duvets. We often host large family groups and several of our rooms can also accommodate children.

Take a look at our Extra Special Rooms for that extra hint of luxury and additional space – perfect for that special occasion or if you just want to treat yourselves! Each is completely self-contained with a lounge area with TV, comfy sofa and dining table, luxury bathroom with fluffy towels, robes and luxury toiletries provided and all have super king size bed and each has doors leading onto their own private courtyard garden.

All have their own front door for complete privacy and are very special places to stay. All have a kettle so you can make a cup of tea or hot chocolate, Nespresso Machine and of course a fridge and glasses in case you want to enjoy a glass of wine or champagne. We can even bring you breakfast in bed.

For guests with limited mobility or wheelchair users, Kingfisher is ideal, with wider doorways and a large wet room style en-suite with shower seat. However, if you have specific needs please don’t hesitate to contact us.

We stayed in the Cowshed. Very well designed room. It was our anniversary and the host had organised a bottle of bubbly and some pastries. A fabulous gesture. There was lot of information on places to visit and dine. We booked into the Ingham swan which was fabulous and highly recommended. The breakfast was in a very good barn setting with lot of variety. The host was very friendly and helpful and even provided us with an emergency iPhone charger! Highly recommend for short or long stays .

As usual, we received a very warm welcome, lovely accommodation, the fabulous coast and near broads location means you are spoilt for choice but there's literally something for everyone. A truly lovely place to relax and unwind from the usual stress of work and looking after others. After a lovely night's sleep you will be set up for your day with an amazing choice of breakfasts.

My son is autistic and I'm a single parent, so finding a calm place to stay with plenty to keep him busy in the half term it's really hard, but this is the second February Half Term in a row that we have stayed in the Cow Shed at the Dairy Barns and it was so, so wonderful! There is so much to do in the area, it is excellent values for many, they owners and staff are amazing and so patient, and it was actually a wonderful break for me as well as for my son. Thank you so much!!

Simply the best hospitality! Hannah and her team could not make you feel more welcome and nothing is too much trouble. The best breakfast ever!! and its included in the very reasonable price. All this and its situated in a wonderful part of the country keep us coming back time after time.

The Cow shed was an amazing room to stay it was lovely having such a spacious bedroom and relaxing lounge upstairs. We thoroughly enjoyed the scrumptious breakfast. It was a nice touch to be able to have it delivered to your room. Hannah and her team were amazing and very attentive. We were in easy reach of Horsey to see the seals. We'll worth a visit. The Ingham Swan pub was fantastic for an evening meal. Thank you.

Everything was tiptop. The staff were a ray of sunshine. The premises were amazing.The breakfast room with its wooden vaulted ceiling and balcony was really special. We had one of the special rooms, and special they were. Wonderfully decorated, fresh and spotless. Even the horses outside our room in the stables said good morning to us everyday. Highly reccmmended and faultless in all aspects. Thankyou to you all.

Although we were met with a note taped to the reception door as no-one was there to greet us, we soon found home made cake and fresh milk in our suite. Then the owner appeared in the stables and was so friendly and welcoming. Delightful suite, amusingly called the Cowshed, much upgraded since the cows had been in residence! Breakfast was very good with plenty of choice of local and home made produce and very friendly staff.

Booked day before ru extend a great sunny stay in Norfolk. Super friendly staff, lovely breakfast, had family room for 4 of us which had ample space and comfy beds.Excellent placement for sea palling beach, can walk/ride a bike it’s so close. Also great for Bewilderwood with the kids.

This is the third time we have stayed at Dairy Barns in the luxury rooms. It was our first time in The Cowshed which was lovely. The weather was against us and the power cuts weren’t ideal, but the comfortable surroundings and the excellent breakfasts made up for them. The staff are so friendly and the service is great. Sure we will come again.

It was fantastic! We stayed for a night in the Cow Shed, which we loved. The 'upside down layout worked perfectly with 2 children, and was extremely spacious. Very luxurious bathroom with walk-in shower big enough for two people. My husband had only been in the door 2 minutes and said that we'd definitely return! Great location- quiet country setting but near to so many places of interest. Excellent in all ways!
