This sublime oceanfront studio is directly on the pristine white sands and serene blue waters of the Gulf of Mexico in exclusive Longboat Key, Florida! Located on the second floor, directly overlooking the heated pool and ocean, this dreamy studio condo is optimal for sunset viewing from a private lanai. Take a 30-second walk to the pool and onward to the secluded beach with beach loungers and sun umbrellas. Enjoy a relaxing vacation at our peaceful condo at The Beach on Longboat Key Resort!
Also, if you want to vacation with friends or family, we own a downstairs unit, #103, as well...!
Upon arrival to The Beach on Longboat Key Resort, you will be wowed by this tropical property! Conveniently located mid-island on Longboat Key, on Gulf of Mexico Drive, this small, intimate resort, only 15 units, has so much to offer: direct, private beach access, heated pool, BBQ grill, beach lounge chairs and sun umbrellas, onsite laundry, and complex office with staff.
When you arrive, pick up a parking pass from the main office (onsite staff 9A.M. - 5P.M. daily for any questions), and then make your way to our condo, Unit 222, on the second floor, for optimal sunset viewing, dolphin observing, and manatee spotting...! If you arrive late, there are also two laminated passes in the condo - use and return - easy! The condo has a smart lock for smooth entry and exit. Each guest is assigned a secure, individualized 4-digit code (deleted upon departure!), allowing for 24/7 arrival and freedom from carrying a key when on the beach...!
Upon entering, you will walk through a small entryway to view the main living space. Our condo features a queen-size bed, along with a queen-size sleeper sofa for the extra members of your party - the little ones! There is a Smart television, with cable, for entertainment when you're not beaching it, along with a variety of reading material, board games, and children's toys. WiFi, of course, is available throughout! Also, there is a closet and chest of drawers for storing belongings for a quick weekend getaway or a month-long stay...! For family use, we have a Pack 'N Play - convenient!
The kitchen, with granite countertops and stainless steel appliances (dishwasher!), is fully stocked (coffee maker - drip and Keurig, blender, Tupperware, knife set, wine glasses, etc.), including everything you might need to cook meals in on the days you prefer not to dine out...!
The bathroom features a combined tub and shower, which always comes in handy when traveling with children!
Beyond the main living space is a large, private lanai, with high top table and two chairs, ideal for eating a meal or sipping a cocktail! There is also a deck box with beach toys too!
The condo has both central heat and air, along with an additional floor fan. There is a smoke detector and fire extinguisher, as well.
On property, there is a heated pool with deck and loungers! Pick up a beach umbrella and walk through the sea grapes (no need to cross a busy street!) to reach the private beach with more lounge chairs. No need to bring your own!
A propane grill is on the lawn with grilling utensils in our unit!
On the ground floor of The Beach complex, there is a free washer and dryer if needed during your trip. There is also a main dumpster for easy trash disposal.
The best part of our condo is the direct, unobstructed ocean view and private beach access - just sublime!

2. For our condo, there is one parking spot available - park wherever you like within the lot! Due to the size of the parking lot, unfortunately, no guest cars or trailers can be accommodated because it will take a spot away from another condo.
3. Please note our condo is a 330 sq-ft studio best suited for one-two adults or one-two adults plus one-two children in the sleeper sofa, and/or one in the Pack 'N Play, if needed. Unfortunately, we cannot accept reservations for over two adults due to sleeping arrangement comfort. If it is a unique situation, feel free to message me to discuss further. Thank you for your understanding!
4. The condo is located on the second floor... for a stunning view! At the complex, there are stairs, but no elevator.
Also, if you want to vacation with friends or family, we own a downstairs unit, #103, as well...!

First time to gulf side of Florida and not the last! Water so much calmer than Atlantic side for young family to play in. Dolphins/Manatees swimming by daily. Very memorable.
In regards to the condo, very clean, was able to sleep family of 4 pretty easy. View of Gulf hard to beat. Pool very clean and not busy.

Everything was perfect during our stay! This is the place to be if you are wanting a peaceful and relaxing vacation. Heidi is an excellent host and is very accommodating. She even sent some sweet treats a couple days during our stay (key lime pie was delicious)! Our view was amazing and the beach is beautiful! We will definitely be back.

This place had a spectacular view of the ocean and poolside with access right in the backyard. The beach location is a quiet stretch of sand with limited beachgoers and seagulls. It has a fully stocked bathroom and kitchen. Rafts, umbrellas, and beach toys were also provided so you can pack light. The only negative was the parking lot size and the fact that there isn't an elevator so baggage had to be dragged upstairs. Otherwise its a great place for either a couple or a family vacay. The hostess is very hospitable and accomadating.

I cannot say enough positive things about our stay at The Beach in Long Boat Key. The responsiveness of the host Heidi is unmatched, it was like working with a friend. She was so quick and helpful. The unit was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. She really works hard to meet the needs of her guests! The view was perfect and it was an wuick easy walk to the beach! Having beach equipment we could access was a plus! Heidi had a thoughtful delivery for us our first morning. I would recommend Heidi and any of her properties. We had a great but all to short time there!

What an awesome part of paradise. It is exactly as advertised a clean studio right on the beach. Sunsets from the patio were amazing. The beach was steps away and swimming in the ocean was great. Heidi was a super host and communicated very well. We appreciated the little extras. If we come back to this area we would stay here again!!

We really enjoyed our three day stay at Heidi’s condo. She is an incredible host and we had everything we needed and more. Check in and out- super easy. We appreciated the delectable treats she surprised us with. Our favorite aspect was the beautiful view (sunset, moonset, and even at daybreak, the sunrise to the east lit up the sky over the gulf with pretty pink skies and water.)
We loved morning strolls along the seashore and collected many shells to bring home to our grandchildren. We would definitely recommend this to others:)

Everything from start to finish was easy and everything we imagined. Heidi was an amazing host. Kept in contact with me throughout the whole process. Heidi was an excellent host...highly recommend her! The condo is a studio (efficiency) with only one room, so tight on space and not much area to store food (just an FYI). That said, the condo is well stocked for visitors (beach gear, etc) and the building is nice with a pool and immediate beach access. They painted the doors and pool area during our stay, so the building is obviously well maintained.

My husband and I stayed at this property and absolutely loved it. Perfect for a getaway. Steps away from the beach, which was not crowded, and chairs were available on the beach. Amazing view! The unit itself was very clean and Heidi, the host, kept us up to date on when our room was ready and made sure we had everything we needed. We have never had a better host! Within a short drive, you can find restaurants and a little further south, a big shopping area for clothes, souvenirs, etc. There are plenty of activities available, but we stayed close to the beach this trip!

Not only is this a great location on Longboat Key, it is the best unit in the complex, directly over a pool of beautiful blue water and the beach just steps away. We spent one afternoon, for several hours, enjoying the company of a very polite grey heron who decided to sun himself and relax on the pool deck right below our balcony. Saw several dolphins and a blue crab and a sea urchin on our beach walks. Quaint and cozy we had every amenity that was needed for our stay. Also loved the keyless entry. No worries about having to carry and possibly lose a key! This was our first ever experience of a host showing us their appreciation with a key lime pie and tangerine juice! Yum! Excellent communication before, during and after our stay. Heidi most certainly is a Premier Host! We would definitely return.

Wow! What a great find. This cozy little studio was perfect. Just steps from an amazing (and not crowded) beach on the Gulf. Easy beach access. Lovely pool even closer. We could have just sat on that balcony all day. Perfect spot for morning coffee or evening drinks. Stunning view. Spotted many dolphins. Took in a spectacular sunset.

The place is conveniently located smack dab in the middle of Longboat Key, and maintains a very laid-back vibe. Did not feel touristy at all.

My husband and I stayed at this wonderful place for six days. It was complete heaven. Heidi even delivered us a Keylime pie and orange juice after our first night. The view cannot be beat! I especially enjoyed drinking coffee on the private balcony in the morning. It’s really hard writing this review as I am currently getting ready to go back to work!

What a wonderful place to relax and reset! It was EXACTLY what we wanted-lovely views, easy beach access and a clean place. My husband and I never felt crowded during our week's stay in Heidi's well appointed studio. By far the most responsive, communicative and helpful host we've ever encountered-in a non-intrusive way. We felt like we were renting from a friend by the end of our stay. We will CERTAINLY be returning again!

We had a fabulous stay at The Beach! Heidi was fantastic at communicating before, during and after our stay. The condo was exceptionally clean and well appointed.
