We've stayed all over Galena the past 20 years and this was the best location so far. The host was responsive to my questions, the key box was easy to get into, we loved having a designated parking spot across the street, and we had enough space for the 4 of us staying there. We liked having the kitchen for storing drinks and food in the fridge and a family room so we weren't all stuck in a room like we'd be in a hotel. We would definitely stay there again!

We were there for 1 night while I thought I had booked 2 nights. My mistake! As a result I received a call from the property owner that her cleaning service was there to get ready for the next guests at 3:00. The property owner was very understanding about what had happened!

Our first time in Galena, JoAnne the host was very welcoming and the location couldn't be better, great place to call home base while the friends group ventured around town. Perfect to come back to and rest before walking around all the shops just outside our door! Can't wait to come back again for another night. You need at least 2 nights to see and try it all!

Had a WONDERFUL time, the host was amazing and helped us with parking to make sure we didnt get towed after we parkwd in the wrong spot. Location was right above the Scent Workshop and on main street. Perfectly accessible, clean and Joanne is the best host and very helpful and flexible with arrival and departure.

Joanne was kind and communicative, and the place was conveniently located right downtown, above the shops. The check out procedure was seamless and very accomodating to guests. We appreciated the coffee that was availble in the morning, too! Highly recommend!

Had an awesome stay in a convenient location and the apartment was really clean along with being well stocked with all the necessities (in the bathroom & kitchen). The host is extremely friendly and responded to texts and phone calls in a timely manner dealing with any questions. Will definitely come back, as we all (family of four) were really pleased with our stay.

Joanne is fabulous to work with and quick to respond to any questions. Their apartment has everything you need. It’s not new or fancy but nothing is in Galena- that’s part of the charm of this historic town. Super comfy beds and nice bright bathroom. Our 16 year old daughter and her friend loved shopping up and down Main Street. So cute. Would rent with Joanne again for sure!

My girlfriends and I decided to have our annual get together in Galena this year and wanted something close to Main Street to avoid the hassle of driving (especially because we knew we would partake in all of the wine tastings). :-) This apartment was perfect for that... the location could NOT have been more central to everything (it's right above the Scent store on Main Street). Everything was as described in the unit, and all in all, we would definitely come back! The ONLY issue we had was parking all of our cars, but that was more due to the Civil War re-enactments that happen at the end of the month (it was NUTS with boys scouts everywhere). The unit did have one dedicated spot but if you have multiple cars and you go during a busy weekend, perhaps consider parking somewhere off the beaten path and having one car shuttle everyone in (and then use the dedicated spot).

The location right on main street made our stay in Galena extra special! The apartment is as described in the ads. It was clean and comfortable. The buildings are older with a historic feel and so with that in mind, this place is fabulous!

This was a perfect spot for downtown shopping, dining, and drinks. There is a door that goes right down to main street from the apartment! So very convenient! JoAnne was great to work with and she was SO accommodating to our requests (allowing us to use the parking spot at noon instead of 3:00 check-in time). One thing to note, if you have someone who is not able to do stairs well, this will not be a good option. But it was great for us!

My family came to kick off the Holiday season. This was a great place to stay right on Main Street. Perfect for shopping, dining or just being together enjoying Galena! The owner was very responsive to any questions and gave us great dining recommendations. We would definitely come back and stay here again!

Location couldn't be better! We parked our car in a reserved spot when we arrived and didn't get back in it until we left. We walked everywhere we went. The shower worked but needs some repair, and the kitchen is lacking some basic supplies we are used to VRBO's having. Otherwise we absolutely loved our stay.

The location is very good as all of main street is within walking distance. The only negative is that there are a lot of steps. This is true of all of Galena.

Wonderful apartment on Main Street Galena. Comes with private, off street parking, which is a premium downtown perk. Great communication from host complete with restaurant recommendations. Will definitely book again for our next girls trip!!
