Welcome to our beautiful lakefront home on Lake Sinclair, complete with a large private dock for your enjoyment. Our home is tastefully decorated and appointed with all the amenities to make your family vacation a memorable one. The location on the lake is prime, just a short drive away from Milledgeville, GA where you can find restaurants, grocery stores (Kroger's or Walmart), bait shops, ice stores, liquor stores, golf courses, movie theaters, medical centers, Georgia College, and more. Or, if you prefer to boat, it's only a 10-minute ride to the Sinclair Marina. This is our home away from home, and we have outfitted it with everything we enjoy while we're there. The furniture and bed linens are of high quality and comfortable for your enjoyment.
Inside The Home:
The Main Level of this house boasts an open floor plan that offers breathtaking views of the lake and stunning sunsets year-round. The kitchen is also part of this open floor plan and provides ample space for entertaining guests. It comes fully equipped with pots, pans, utensils, a Keurig Duo coffee maker (with both pot and pod options), a microwave, a toaster, and dinnerware that can cater to a large group. The Great Room, conveniently located right off the kitchen, is complete with a stone wood-burning fireplace, comfortable leather furniture, and a smart TV. Adjacent to the kitchen and the Great Room is a large dining table that accommodates up to 8 people. The Master Suite, also on the main level, features a king-size bed, a flat-screen TV, a private bathroom, and a walk-in closet. Additionally, there is a laundry room with a full-size washer and dryer, as well as essential cleaning supplies. The entire back of the main level opens to a spacious deck, offering plenty of outdoor living space with a wrap-around outdoor sectional sofa and a dining area.
The Lower Level of the house is a paradise for children, with a rec room that includes a large sleeper sofa and an oversized chair, as well as a large smart TV for movie nights. On this level, you will also find a bedroom with a king-size bed with an adjoining full bathroom and another bedroom with a queen-size bed and a twin-size bed. Both bedrooms have large, oversized windows that provide stunning views of the lake. Additionally, there is a slider door in the rec room that opens up to a patio perfect for the kids, with plenty of outdoor seating.
Private Dock, Swimming & Fishing:
The dock is equipped with a swim ladder and two sets of stairs, all of which are well-lit. Additionally, there are surround sound speakers and a GFI power outlet on the dock, which allows you to inflate water toys with ease. To make your lake experience even better, we provide 2 paddle boards, 2 kayaks, inner tubes, and fishing poles.
The Extra Stuff:
We provide a starter kit with extra linens, pillows, toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, dishwasher and laundry detergent, and other essentials that you may have forgotten to buy at the store.
No Pet, No Smoking Policy:
This is our personal vacation home, and we spend as much time here as possible. Some of our family members have severe allergies and/or asthma. Therefore, we have a strict no-pet policy, and smoking (including e-cigarettes) is prohibited in our home. There are plenty of outdoor areas available where you can enjoy your favorite cigar, but please ensure that you extinguish your cherry and properly dispose of your butts.

Our group had a fabulous time at this lake house! This was actually our second time renting this home because we loved it so much the first time. You won’t be disappointed, the lake and views are amazing. Sunsets are beautiful. We rented a jet ski, used the paddle board and floats and had such a fun time. We will be back😊

We had the best week here! The views are so great and the house is beautiful, well-stocked and clean. The location on the lake is great as well, close to the gas station and restaurant (the Grill). The internet is a bit on the slow side, but we enjoyed taking a break from all that on vacation! We highly recommend this house! Also, the host was friendly and extremely respnsive.

We came to pick up my daughter from Georgia military College. As many know, there is not much in Milledgeville and we were looking for a peaceful location. This home is gorgeous inside and out, and provides tranquility from the time the sun rises till it sets. We likely spent more time inside than out. We wanted for nothing with this rental and the host was super responsive when I struggled to get myself in the house the first day ( my fault ). I highly recommend this property to just spend time with your family, or if you’re traveling with a purpose like we were but don’t want to be cramped in a hotel. The house itself is a sacred experience.

We had the most relaxing time at the lake. The house was amazing! We were there with our adult children to celebrate my husband’s 70th birthday. The house, lake and location couldn’t be more perfect. Nicole is a wonderful host. I contacted her a few times and she was always pleasant and so happy to help. Thank you for opening your beautiful, peaceful part of the world for us.

Loved this property. Great for families. The drive in was longer and further from anything than expected. Fortunately we read reviews and brought all we needed w/us. Just be prepared you are far from any stores or gas.

This property is stunning! My husband and I booked this home for a long anniversary weekend. From the moment you walk in, you will be greeted with endless unobstructed water views. We woke every morning to beautiful views from our bed and enjoyed gorgeous sunsets from the porch and pier. The kitchen was fully stocked. We didn't need anything extra! The property manager was very kind and responsive (thank you for the late check-out so we had more time to explore!). Get all of your provisions on the way to the house because it's about 45 minutes to the nearest grocery/package store (on the Lake Oconee side). This seclusion is what we came for so we love the Lake Sinclair side.
We can't wait to come back with the kids. A+++
P.S. Pass on the local winery (Coursons). It looked abandoned on both the outside & inside, though we still bought a bottle because I like to support small businesses :)

We had a wonderful vacation at this beautiful home on Lake Sinclair! The home was well equipped with everything we needed, the beds were comforts, the home owner was friendly and helpful. The location is in a great spot was a fabulous view! Just be prepared to take all your food items bc it is a long way from stores. The grass had not been cut and that was a little disappointing. However, we had a great, relaxing getaway and would definitely rent this beautiful home again.

This was our first visit to Lake Sinclair, which we selected because of its proximity to our two adult children. The lake is gorgeous and “The Best View on the Lake” did not disappoint! What a charming, cozy, and comfortable house and wonderful property. The property is pretty far from “civilization” (restaurants & grocery stores), but the surrounding beauty and peacefulness make up for the distance. Nicole is an outstanding host and we are most grateful for her generous hospitality. Thanks for a wonderful weekend!

We had a wonderful stay at this gorgeous house! My husband and I were traveling with our two teen daughters and each girl brought a friend. The layout was perfect for us because we were in the primary bedroom on the main floor and all the teens were downstairs in the walk-out lower level. We loved paddling and kayaking and just floating in the lake, making s'mores in the fire pit and grilling and eating out on the large deck. This really is the most beautiful spot on Lake Sinclair! Two things to be aware of, though: first, the closest grocery stores, pharmacies, etc., are 45 minutes away in either Eatonton or Milledgeville. Plan to pack in all food and necessities. Second, cell service is not great (we have AT&T) and the wi-fi is very slow. We enjoyed being freed from our devices for a week, but if you're planning to work during your vacation, this probably isn't the house for you. That said, we'd still return to this house in a heartbeat!

The whole family loved the property, i would buy this place if it were for sale, the boat dock kept our 23 ft boat just right and the kids could jump the dock and swim there all day without any worries. The backyard had plenty of space for corn hole and badminton and room the kids to just not feel couped up in a house. The inside of the house was very accommodating in every way possible with anything we needed along with the upper and lower decks outside both held great views of the lake. Highly recommend this property and we'll definitely refer it to friends and family and also will be back ourselves. Loved it!!

This is an exceptional lakehouse. The view of Lake Sinclair was beautiful. My family and I enjoyed the home. The furnishings were modern and the home was well kept. We had a fantastic time at the lake! We loved the view of the water from the deck, sitting on the couch and drinking our coffee. The kids loved swimming off the dock, playing with the paddleboard and kayak and looking for treasure under the dock. The house had everything we needed and we couldn't have been happier. I highly recommend!

Our family of 6 had a fabulous vacation at this property! The house was just perfect for our group (2 adults + 4 teenagers). Kitchen was well stocked, the oven was amazing. We spent hours at the large dock, even rented a jet ski that was delivered to the house. We used the paddleboard and floats that were provided. We played games and did puzzles too. Overall we'd rate this property a 10 out of 10! You will love it!

Gorgeous home with fun lake activities
We had a wonderful vacation here with our two daughters (9 and 5 years old). They loved being able to jump and swim in the lake and run around in the large backyard. We really enjoyed having the paddle boards, kayaks and floats and the house was clean and well stocked with everything we needed. It’s a drive to get to places but we brought groceries in and drove to rent some jet skis for the day. We also explored downtown Milledgeville which is a quaint and quiet town. My husband and I kept saying we have never been anywhere so peaceful and quiet. The owner was very quick to answer any questions I had. This was our first time renting a lake house and we loved every minute of it.

Everything was perfect
Wow what a great week! It literally is the best view of the lake. My 6 year old is addicted to fishing now and I couldn't get enough of those beautiful sunsets. We loved that we brought our boat but we had such a great time swimming from their dock as well. It was such a large and beautiful home with plenty of woods around! We're from Florida and it was so nice to sit outside and not be eaten alive by bugs! Thank you for sharing your lovely home and we can't wait to come back next year.

Everything we wanted and more!
We had the most wonderful time at this lake house last week! It was as beautiful as the pictures indicated. The home was lovely, the kitchen was well stocked with pots/pans/dishes/basic necessities, the beds were very comfortable with very high quality sheets and pillows, the house had lots of games and puzzles which enhanced our family time, and we had plenty of beach towels and rafts for our enjoyment outside. The views of the lake were incredible! Nicole was a joy to work with and always responded very quickly to any question we had. We will definitely be back!

Best view!!
Best start to summer!! It rained the first full day so that gave us some time to fully unwind! We spent so much time outside on the deck with the most amazing view, watching the rain, boats and jet skis! We rented a boat and were told it was the "quiet part" of the lake! The house was clean and the linens were fresh! Stores are a good 45-50 min away so plan accordingly, but luckily the house was well stocked and had everything we needed. If you have a boat you can dock at the marina and get in to town that way! We would love to stay again!!

Family Time
This property is great! The beds are very comfortable. Plenty of room for six of us. Could have easily added 2 more if needed. We really enjoyed our time here together for a long mother's day weekend with 3 generations. The location is remote via car. Would recommend stopping at a grocery store on your way to the house. The house had everything we needed for making meals and plenty of dishes/silverware/drinkware for our use. The location on the lake is wonderful! Beautiful view. The weather turned cold and windy so we were not able to enjoy the kayaks, paddle boards or floats but there were plenty of water toys had the weather been nicer for us. There were lots of puzzles and games there. TV reception and wifi was good. Phone reception is not great but we were all together and didn't need it away! There is a wonderful restaurant about 20 to 25 mins. away. Highly recommend Down South Seafood for fried or broiled seafood (they are only open of Friday and Saturday nights). Nicole was great to work with and quick to respond to any questions or concerns. We would return to this property! Thank you Nicole for being a great host.

Nice view BUT we regret our stay. Cleanliness= F. House is smaller than pictures show.
Not pleasant. We will never return here. We booked a few days prior to our arrival. We expected to spend Thanksgiving in a house that was supposed to be rated high for cleanliness and a place ready for us to use. We weren't prepared for what we were to find when we arrived. It is unfortunate and never mentioned to us but after driving through many long rural turns and roads with few gas stations we arrived to find the house with so many fallen leaves in the entryway and even on the front door porch. It was messy getting our things down off our suv.. The house immediately seemed small from the pictures posted online. After unpacking and cleaning up the mess on entrance we then find the house closed up but with 1 sliding door cracked open facing the rear. Then our kids start screaming when we find dead bugs and roaches throughout. We adjust the temperature and start picking up dead bugs and critters. We pickup 20+ dead bugs and try to settle in. This was completely unacceptable. The property owners chose to not spend $ and have the house cleaned and ready for us. They had plenty of days ahead of our arrival to have someone come over. The property said no one could come over because of short notice. Well we would of rented another place. What we should of done is leave immediately. We took pictures of the roaches and bugs and tried to make the best of it. We spent the rest of the first day of our arrival blowing and raking the rear of the property so we can enjoy the outdoor covered area since it was covered with leaves. We used their lovely battery powered blower which they had handy. But we didn’t plan on working on this stay…Again we moved forward to make the best of it.
We were 6, 2 adults and 4 teenagers. The house was maxed out in my opinion. You can squeeze more kids in sofa beds but with 2.5 bathrooms its tough. throughout our stay we found that we would run out of hot water fast and have to wait, the stove only 3 burners were functioning, a rear door would not lock so we felt uneasy and some stain was found on some linens that we knew nothing about but were later charged for even though the cleaning people made a mess with it. The house is small and the property is difficult. * Although the view is nice, I would not risk having this happen. I would find another place for what the PO charges. A stay should be pleasant and when there is an issue it should be discussed to the best outcome of the people paying to stay.

The house is absolutely beautiful and has one of the best views. We enjoyed the dock and caught quite a few crappie from the dock while relaxing and listening to music. We had a great time.

Relaxing lake weekend
Beautiful lakefront home. It has the BEST view of the sunset, which we looked forward to each night! The interior of the home is so pretty and had everything that we needed for our long-weekend stay. We felt at home the second we walked in. We cooked all our meals and brought all our groceries, as it is not close to stores. We brought a boat and had fun with the lake toys provided - Super Mable and hotdog - how nice to have! We did have some issues with our docked boat and the amount of waves put off by boaters coming by. It was rocking up and down and side to side a lot and we were worried about it and the dock getting damaged. It was a holiday weekend, so busy. The home is situated at the mouth of a cove that was frequented and on the main channel. We ended up anchoring at the side of the dock in the shallow water during the day when not using and that solved it, but was some trouble getting in and out if wanting to stay dry. I subtracted a star on cleanliness related to the outside only (the inside was immaculate) - there were lots of spider webs and dead bugs on the exterior deck and at the dock and on seating surfaces. So maybe just a little more attention on the outside is needed by clean-up crew when expecting an arrival. Also, subtracted a star on location because of some potholes in roads in the neighborhood and distance from town. But notice I gave an overall 5 star rating because we loved our stay and would return!!
