About this cabin rental
From the moment you walk in, the vaulted pinewood walls & ceiling and unique features make this custom built Log Cabin just feel special. One look out back and you see and hear the mountain stream with small waterfall and access to take a dip & cool off... or just take a deep breath & relax...
1st fl. full bathroom and bedroom (queen), 2nd fl. two twin beds and it's own 1/2 bath with killer view. Note: all towels, blankets, and linen are included.
A full kitchen: fridge, 4burner oven, microwave, toaster, & toaster oven, glasses & silverware, dining table (has extendable leafs) ... Entertainment ctr. has a dvd player and apx 100 different types of music and a wide range of movies, some board games, cards, and books. (yes I said books) Free WiFi (just no cable tv.) So unplug and unwind! Reconnect to the one your with. The activities folder has directions to countless hiking options (rates them from novice, intermediate, to advanced... maps, distance, & average length of time descriptions to help pick the best ones for you.) There are also guides to many local attractions... Trust me; You will run out of day before you run out of things to do. There is also a Dining Guide Folder with many of my favorites.

Camp David is the cleanest cabin we’ve ever stayed in. Listening to the rolling river each night with windows down and cool breeze was just what we needed after weeks of Florida summer weather. David is super friendly, responsive and helpful- greeting you as you arrive and making sure you have everything you need.

This is a cute cabin with a peaceful river in the backyard. The cabin was clean, well taken care of with any supply you might need. The owner was very helpful. He gave us lots of hiking ideas. The only thing is the internet was spotty and was challenging for my husband to work. BUT that is understandable in the country!

This was the perfect spot for our girls weekend. The cabin had everything we needed and David was the nicest person! He greeted us upon arrival and made sure we were familiar with the area, cabin, and grounds. He also gave us some great recommendations on places to go.
We had everything we needed and he made sure the cabin was very clean and well stocked. Thus was a great experience and we cant wait to come back!

We had a nice relaxing stay. Cabin was very clean, nicely maintained, warm, cozy and perfect. Dave stopped by to greet us and provided insights and tips to local attractions. Location was close to several trails, hikes and waterfalls. We spent quality, peaceful time watching the river in the backyard. The only drawback I can think of is if you need internet access for work or study, plan accordingly as internet is spotty. We couldn’t not have asked for better relaxing getaway.

We had a great time. The cabin was immaculate. Dave was there to greet us. Super helpful, provided lots of tips on things to do and see. The cabin had everything. We were having a family getaway, had lots of time to cook and enjoy the beautiful mountains and landscape New Hampshire has to offer. Thanks Dave, we hope to make this an annual event.

Absolutely one of our best stays with VRBO. The location was superb, quiet and peaceful but only a few minutes from downtown and located by many scenic drives and hikes. The highlight was undoubtedly the “Pemi” river right behind the cabin and we spent hours enjoying it. Dave was a great host and the house was spotless and had everything we needed.

Camp David was a great location for our very short stay on a New England road trip. Prior guest reviews were accurate; David is a wonderful host and the cottage/cabin is relatively new and well-appointed. The backyard has a great view and ramble-tamble of the Pemigewasset River.

Arrived early due to mother's asthma attack when she needed to rest after using her inhaler. Owner entered while mom was sitting on couch yelling that we arrived early even though check in stated it was "self check in". He then informed us we need to leave and come back at 3pm check-in time. We explanied the sitiuation to him in which he was not understandable at all and stated that we still needed to leave because the cabin was ready by his standards. We told him it looked fine and we were told to still leave. We drove around for the next couple of hours waiting to come back to the cabin.

This is our second year staying at David’s NH property. We absolutely love the place. Quick 1.5mile trip to Loon Mountain and beautifully maintained inside and out. Waking up to the sound of the rushing river behind the house is relaxing and adds to what is always a perfect spot for skiing and snowboarding weekend. We look forward to our stay and his hospitality every winter!

I couldn’t say enough great things about David! He was so heart warming and welcoming to our family! He felt like a part of the family when we met him. Not to mention just how cozy and clean the cabin was when we walked in. It felt like home! Highly suggest booking this place if you’re ever looking for a cozy little home for your vacation up in New Hampshire. Will definitely be back!! :)

Camp Dave is truly amazing for family stay. The stream next to the house is plus. I can imagine how beautiful it is during the summer time. It is close to loon mountain but not too noisy staying in those skiing lodge. Dave prepared everything we need and more in the cabin. We wish we could stay longer.

Camp David and Dave provided a wonderful NH getaway. Aside from the great location and cabin-life, Camp David provided a true NH getaway experience. We appreciated the small things: listening to classic CDs, checkers, puzzling and local NH literature. Dave is a great host providing local knowledge of the area, even including small welcoming candy, hot cocoa, etc. everything is covered here: cooking utensils, linens, soap, condiments, and rustic NH ambience. Awesome experience!

Lovely little cabin, very clean with a gorgeous lake view. Lots of little touches made a great first impression and we certainly felt that David took care of his property and very much wanted his guests to be comfortable. Two suggestions: A larger sofa and a larger TV (perhaps mounted on the landing over the kitchen?). We had a lot of rain during our stay and found that there was really no way to watch a movie as both the sofa AND the TV are very small.
Other than that, we would highly recommend this lovely spot on the River!!

Camp David was perfect for the 2 of us as a getaway for our anniversary. Cozy, quaint, and comfy. The view of the river and trees out back is spectacular.
David is gracious and so helpful. He made sure we had everything we needed and made some recommendations on hikes. We truly had a magical weekend in the White Mountains.
If you are at all concerned with proximity to street, don't be! The River is literally a few steps out your back door and the sound is glorious. You can not hear the cars and you feel like you are in your own haven. The neighbors are quiet.
We enjoyed coffee by the river each morning (we brought blankets but honestly there were plenty in the house we could have used) and we cooked in each night - the kitchen is well appointed and stocked with some condiments, spices, coffee and tea. We also were treated with hot cocoa and sparkling cider. It was just what we were looking for. Thank you for making our weekend one we won't forget. :)
