Within one mile of Historic Downtown Beaufort’s Waterfront Shops and Restaurants, this updated 2 Bedroom, 1 Bathroom Cottage is located in the desirable Pigeon Point neighborhood. Make yourself at HOME! Hang out around the fire pit under the Spanish Moss draped Live Oaks, enjoy a Cocktail on the Covered Patio, take a stroll through Antebellum Neighborhoods and appreciate Lowcountry Living at its finest.

Our Cottage is a short drive to Parris Island Marine Corps Recruit Depot and the Marine Corps Air Station, just around the corner from USC-Beaufort, Public Tennis Courts and the Spanish Moss Trail, 15 minutes to Sands Beach in Port Royal known for its abundant shark teeth.

Top favorite attractions are: Hunting Island State Park and Beach, (Park Pass is included with your rental), Carriage Ride through town and MUST-SEE Movie Tours. You may even want to think about turning your Vacation into your STAY-cation with so many fun things to do!

We all had such a nice time! The house was so perfect for us, it was clean and beautiful. All the little details the home owners have put into it made it that more special. It was a soecial trip to start with and the house just topped it off for us!

What a charming home this is. It was everything we wanted in a home away from home. Quiet neighborhood and convenient to downtown, Port Royal and the sea islands. The park pass for use on Hunting Island came in handy for us as we enjoyed the beach and the trails. We loved spending our anniversary here and this is a place we would gladly book again when we return to Beaufort.

Beautiful place. Very clean. We came down for our son's Marine graduation at Paris Island. Close proximity to stores and anything you would need. Kid friendly with a fenced in yard. Would recommend for anyone who wants a nice comfy spot to stay.

This was a great location for our weekend in Beaufort. The house is as stated. We did not do any cooking, but the kitchen looked to be well equiped. The free state park pass is a great thing included with the rental, we used it for Hunting Island State Park.

We were there for our son's graduation from boot camp. The house was perfect for the two of us. Clean and only 10 minutes from Parris Island. I would recommend this house for anyone.

We had an amazing time. The place is beautiful and in a great location. We were so busy going back and forth to the base that we didnt have time to explore beaufort or the beaches, but we got what we came for...our new Marine!! The host was wonderful and allowed us to checkout a little later due to the graduation. Even when we had a hiccup with the door code expiring, he fixed it right away. Look forward to coming back for a more relaxing vacation when we can see the sights!

Came to Beaufort to see my son graduate from Parris island and it was perfect. One of the cleanest VRBO I have stayed in. Location was great with nice restaurants within walking distance. The park pass was a plus for sure. Loved it.

We enjoyed our stay at ‘At Ease’! The house was very clean when we arrived and had everything we needed. Though it was very hot we liked sitting on the back patio in the morning with our coffee. We ate so much good food at all the local restaurants and braved the heat to enjoy Bay Street and the waterfront. The pass to Hunting Island was so nice as well! My niece left something at the house and John went above and beyond to get it back to us, he was great and we so appreciate their honesty and effort! Book a Mermaid Cottage rental with confidence!

Loved our stay here. Only a few blocks to the waterfront park with shopping and dining. Host even provides a pass to the nearby state park beach.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay over Easter and Spring Break. The mgmt company offered church and dining recommendations that helped us feel at home for the holiday. We agree with the toilet paper comments - we even left behind several rolls of Charmin for the next guests. We also recommend some small wastebaskets for the bedrooms. The home is lovely, well-appointed and has everything a small family needs for a visit to the area. The Hunting Island pass was a nice touch too! We look forward to returning.

My mom, sister, and I stayed here for a long weekend to visit our family and the “At Ease” property was absolutely perfect. It was decorated in a very cute, modern fashion and was in a great location. We used the complimentary state park pass and took a trip to the beach at Hunting Island. We would recommend this property to anyone and everyone!

The property was very clean, very safe, and quite private. Our only complaints were that the mattress is rock hard and uncomfortable (but I realize this is a matter of personal preference) and the toilet paper is the thinnest, flimsiest stuff imaginable. I would recommend upgrading to mid grade toilet paper and a better mattress. For a family staying for marine graduation or something like that this would be perfect, but it’s not necessarily a romantic anniversary get away spot.

We loved this place. Small bungalow on a quiet street less than a mile from Bay Street and the marina. The only thing I would change is adding an outdoor grill. Beaufort is a beautiful city with a rich history. We’ll be back.

We came to Beaufort to look at properties. We needed a clean, comfortable and safe place to lay our heads. This was all of these. The owners had taken the time to make sure the cottage had everything you needed. Lovely welcome bag. Pass to the state park. Coffee. It was easy to check in and close to everything.
