About this house rental
Our Wapato point home is the perfect place for a family vacation or a weekend get-away. Relax in in our spacious and comfortable 2200 ft vacation home and enjoy the great room with wide screen TV and large dining area to gather your crew. We offer king beds in our primary and guest bedrooms, along with amazing, panoramic mountain views. The third bedroom has a double size futon with twin bunks. (You can leave your pack-n-play and high chair at home, as we have those available for you as well.). All bedrooms have TV’s and we have full wireless/DSL service.
The kitchen is fully equipped with coffee maker, griddle, waffle iron, blender...and all utensils and pots and pans to satisfy your cooking needs.
There is deck out back with a BBQ and fire table and a porch out front, both great for lounging and gathering.
Our home is conveniently located just steps away from one of Wapato Point’s outdoor pools and large grass field perfect for outdoor games. And you are just a short stroll to several sandy lake beaches.
As a guest, you have access to all Wapato Resort amenities which include an indoor pool and hot tub, open year round. You can also enjoy the tennis and pickle ball courts, volleyball and basketball courts, dock facilities and buoys, putt putt golf, fishing pond, along with the great fishing available in Lake Chelan, as well as a playground for the younger set. All this while nestled in the Chelan basin with amazing award winning wineries, alpine hiking, golf courses and small town charm.
Please note special rates apply for holidays along with a three day minimum stay. During the summer season we offer our home on a weekly basis, Friday to Friday.

We love this house, this is our second time staying in it! Great rambler layout, lots of space, large kitchen that is well supplied! They even have toys for the lake, pool, pickleball and putt putt golf! Owners communicate very well and we are already figuring when we can return again! Love the location with privacy and a pool that has a big grass field. Excellent for kids!

This is one of our favorite properties on Wapato Point. Dana & Kevin are wonderful hosts, and the house is perfect for a group of family and/or friends. We are always sad to pack up and leave!

We had another wonderful stay at this great property on Wapato point. Located on upper point Drive, with a fantastic covered patio with views of the lake and surrounding mountains. Close to the pool in Wapato point Manson have offer. Well appointed kitchen, has everything you need for a great stay. We will definitely be back!

We've been staying at this house consistently during spring break the past few years. It's a great house in a great location. We love the views, the wood-burning fireplace, and the local wineries. There are lots of activities for everyone in the family in Wapato Point the Lake Chelan area.

We stayed here for 10 days starting from December 17th, and we really enjoyed our stay! The location of property is very good, and it is very nicely done inside, with special touches such as fully decorated Christmas tree and Chelan related themes inside of the house. We appreciated that the kitchen was fully stocked with everything you would need, and also had basic necessities such as coffee, tea, cooking oil etc. We will definitely be looking forward to coming back!

I have stayed in many VRBO properties over the years and this was by far the most amazing home I've visited. It was immaculate, organized and decorated with care and talent! The home is spacious and well-appointed with many places to sit outside and enjoy the warm weather. The beds were comfortable and had all the little things to make you feel as if you were in your own home. It is a moderate walk to downtown Manson which was lovely on a sunny afternoon. Wapato Point has trails and parks and lots of outdoor activities. I highly recommend this property!

My wife and I are no strangers to vacationing at different VRBOs. Some of them are viewed as adequate while others are viewed as really good. Very few can be considered excellent. This property is one of them. There isn’t one area that would warrant any substandard reviews. The accommodations from luxury room features to availability of essential accessories make this rental property a solid choice and worth returning to. Oh, did I mention the breathtaking views?

This house had everything we hoped for and more. The kitchen was so well stocked it was as if we never left home and everything was so well organized. Every amenity you could hope for from a wagon, to every pot and pan, towels, even ziploks! We greatly appreciated our stay, are already wanting to book next year and the price was a very attractive number as well. I highly recommend, great job Dana!

We absolutely loved our stay! This was our second year staying there and will definitely be back. It’s so close to the outdoor pool and walking distance to the beach and golf! The house is very kid friendly which was great with our 3 kids!

This home was perfect for a pre-Christmas getaway with our party of 6: 2 grandparents, 2 parents and 2 little girls (4 & 2). Nature provided the snow and the fully Christmas decorated home met all of our needs. 3 large bedrooms, 2 full baths, a large fully-equipped kitchen and spacious dining area. With temperatures hovering around 0-10 degrees, we were fairly housebound but there were many games and a full range of baking supplies as well as several TVs for movies and entertainment. It was just perfect for our trip. Definitely the nicest VRBO we have ever stayed in!

In town for a family wedding. This large home with 3 bedrooms and 2 baths was perfect for two families. Loved the large kitchen and huge great room. The view was gorgeous with a sprawling sitting porch. Thank you Dana for your hospitality and sharing your home with us.

Wonderful location, beautiful home.
My friends and I stayed for 3 nights in this beautiful home. We were competing in a tournament in Manson, so it was a perfect location. After a tiring day of play, it was so wonderful to come back to relax and regenerate in this wonderful space. Views were lovely, kitchen was spacious, plenty of room for all of us to relax and unwind. Dana was a most gracious host. I will definitely be back! Thank you so much.

Spacious comfort
We're regular visitors to Wapato Point. We very much enjoyed renting from The McClain's. There home is well appointed and comfortable with extra blankets, spacious rooms and a wonderful view. The kitchen had everything needed for home made meals and then some. The sporting equipment was an added bonus especially with the reduced Kiosk days for mini golf and other activities. We'd love to visit again!

Great Chelan vacation!
We enjoyed our stay very much, nice big house, a lot of small details and has all that you need. I wish that the cleaning person wouldn’t show up 45 minutes before check out time. It didn’t feel right when you are trying to get all your staff out and they are in yen car waiting already. We left at 11:01 so they could have come at the time rant we are supposed to leave.

Perfect Family Vacation Home!
We've been vacationing at Wapato Point as a family for 30 plus years and this home is our new favorite! The owner is kind and incredibly easy to work with and the home was perfectly clean and ready for us when we arrived. Thoughtful details include beach towels, baskets of books in each room, board games, candles and even a bottle of wine as a welcome gift! The kitchen is fully stocked with dishes, serveware, cups and glasses and every tool and appliance you might need for cooking. A tuned piano is available for those who enjoy playing music, which we do, so this was a very fun surprise.
Our family includes three adult children and their partners and when we weren't on the lake or at the beach, we thoroughly enjoyed just relaxing on the deck (which has plenty of chairs and two loungers) enjoying the gorgeous view of the lake and surrounding mountains. Though we don't have young children, we noticed that the home includes thoughtful details for the younger set too! A high chair, port-a-crib, child friendly cups and dishes and even some pool and lake toys are available for use.
Overall, our family enjoyed a very relaxing and fun vacation in this exceptionally comfortable and fully stocked home. We look forward to returning next summer!

The 3 bedrooms fit our family of 7 (with 5 young kids) just fine for our week-long stay.
There is a community pool just across the street; it was nice to be able to get in the water without having to drive or walk very far. The beach is less than 10 minutes away walking. Wapato Point itself has excellent amenities for young families like ours.
We would definitely stay again in the future!

Great for families with littles
We stayed for 3 nights with friends. Had a 1, 2, & 3 year old with us. Perfect floor plan with the double doors closed in the AM so 1 year old could catch up on sleep without all the noise. Having access to the outdoor pool across from the house was fantastic. Views are stunning! I had brought our pack and play not realizing port-a-crib at the house was a pack and play. Dana was very accommodating of my mom brain during check-in.
