About this apartment rental

Close to the central city, Waikato Stadium and many of the local attractions, this two-story townhouse is in a small trendy development on a leafy street by the river. It’s a complete home, equipped with everything you need to make it a convenient base for holidaying in the Waikato or setting up home for an extended stay with total privacy. And it exclusive for your use. You can walk to café’s, restaurants, bars, entertainment and supermarkets. The Waikato River Trails are moments away.

It's so convenient to eat out, yet when your at home you have everything you need to cook and entertain in the open plan living area or out on a private patio. With one bedroom and bathroom downstairs, and two bedrooms and another bathroom upstairs it’s ideal for groups needing their own private areas. We pride ourselves on comfy beds. The lounge sofa open's out to a double bed.

And there’s a separate office nook to work from home. With a full kitchen, laundry and single garage you could live here for ever.

Abbotsford Street is walking distance to Hamilton's city centre. And yet it's a suburban street with it's own personality. Within minutes you can be on the river trail where you can walk to town along it's picturesque track in ten minutes. You can also walk to the Waikato stadium, local bars like the Helm, Forme Day Spa, a number of cafe's and a driving range in just minutes.

Nice size property - reasonably close to restaurants and bars - downside was a few noisy neighbours and the bars shut far too early on a Friday & Saturday night ! + the rain !

This was a nice place we rented- In a little bit rough area and there were ants in the kitchen. There is one other issue that there is no heating or cooling in the upstairs bedrooms and bathroom- We were there during the summer and had a great trip- but My wife and I slept in the down stairs bedroom and had to have the only AC/Heater on low temp with the fan on high to try to get some air up stairs to where our daughters were staying. This is the first time I have not given a 5 star review ever. But I felt with the ants and lack of upstairs ventilation (even a fan would help) I could only go with 4 stars.

My husband was down here at a conference so I decided to come along for a break. We needed somewhere that I could bring our dog along, and this property allowed that. More than enough room for the 2 of us which was great for when he arrived back late and I was already asleep. One thing I judge properties by is their showers! And this was the best shower for quite some time. Only down side was the parking. I had to squeeze our car into the garage, and it was a squeeze, or risk being towed or park some distance away on the street.

This was a very comfortable, very clean, beautiful property in a fantastic location. Generous size bedrooms and bathrooms, great kitchen and dining area. Everything beautifully styled. Easy walk to restaurants, main shopping centre, cinemas, food and grocery stores. Communication was very easy and check in was straight forward. Highly recommend.

This was a last-minute find for a weekend when all the hotels in Hamilton were booked, and it was a lovely experience! Plenty of space for our party of 5 with great amenities and a clean, quiet location. Property manager was a great communicator and we had no issues with anything before, during, or after our stay.

Nice tidy accomodation, reasonably modern, convenient location, manager of the property was first class with great communication, we only gave location a 3 star as for us the street/immediate surrounding area wasn't at a standard we would ideally want to be.

There was 3 couples on our stay here. The house was perfect to accommodate us all. There was plenty of space and everything we could have require was there. Recommend others to stay as it was beautiful.

Our stay was enjoyable and practical we were able to walk to the river and shops. Lovely bedrooms and bathrooms. Close to required facilities such as the pool and university. We appreciated being able to cook a few meals and keep up to date with laundry throughout a five day sporting event. Perfect to return to after a busy day.

Absolutely loved this property, exactly what we needed for our time in Hamilton. Close to everywhere we needed to be. Teenagers enjoyed having their own space upstairs, Im on crutches so it was great to have a downstairs bedroom!! Would most definitely hire this property again, if in Hamilton.

The apartment is clean and tidy - the main issue is parking if you have more than one car. Street side parking can be used. Bedrooms are fine as is the kitchen. The lounge is smallish. Overall good value and close to town with the river walk only a few hundred metres away.

Two couples on a weekend getaway without the kids and this place was perfect. Pretty central to town, secure, good size bedrooms and bathrooms, and cosy living and dining area with a good kitchen. Would stay again.
