About this bed and breakfast
"Everything is better when shared." That is the amazingly simple vision we had at the beginning. We feel grateful that we have got the fortunate to own this property in Perth Hills-Roleystone. We name this property “The Getaway” in the meaning of escaping from the busy city life to enjoy moments of peacefulness. Every piece of furniture and decoration is dedicatedly selected, and they have so many stories to tell. In the Getaway, you could not only enjoy the amazing hill view from the porch, the patio, the balcony, the swimming pool(nearly 360 degree), but also it offers you full of character and privacy you could imagine. We are writing our stories here as a new lifestyle and we believe all this peace is worth being shared. We hope this place becomes a place that you could also write your Escape stories, and all these stories or stories-to-be will achieve our vision:

A very niche little getaway tucked away in the hills.
A lovely feel to the place and the host Paul could not have been more helpful
The pool was crystal clear and beautifully maintained.

Checkin did not work as expected- (due to Stayz processes- which is why it's only a 3*. ) But both Paul and Abel did all in their power to make things still work, Both are extremely friendly, helpful and generous - so all of the family ended up having a great time. Thanks Paul and Abel

My friends and I had an amazing time staying at the Getaway! The house, pool and garden were absolutely beautiful! We all walked away feeling very relaxed. Check in/out process is very easy and the house was lovely and clean. Thank you Paul and Abei.

The place was beautiful and the owner guy was lovely but the lady for the bookings was very strict on early checkin. 3pm check in and check out 11am is pretty crap and even on request they would not allow early check in.
Cant see how it would take 4 hours to clean 1 x house unless someone trashed it.
wish i had a tv as the wifi was not great my phone just would not connect.
Everything else was amazing so thank you.

What a total escape from city life!
Surrounded by nature and birdsong.
Old and quant but so comfortable and clean. We especially loved our night in front of the open fire and the big comfy bed and pillows.
Would highly recommend staying here!

Beautiful bush setting
What a lovely little home surrounded by trees and silence. We had 2 small children and it was just as relaxing if it was just the adults.

A very enjoyable stay in Perth’s hills on a cold winter night. Paul had the fire going before we arrived, so the Getaway was already warm and welcoming. The fire easily heated upstairs and down. A lovely stay with beautiful bush surrounds!

Fabulous Hidden getaway
This property is such a little gem. It was great to feel like you were out of the city without going too far. Such a beautiful cozy retreat filled with delights. I would love to go back in winter and enjoy the fireplace.
The kids loved exploring and the hosts were so welcoming and accommodating for anything you need. We would highly recommend it.

This is an amazing little gem. If you’re after something not too far away from the city but want to feel at one with nature this is the place for you. Beautifully and tastefully decorated in rich warm jarrah. Perfect for couples looking for a romantic getaway when it’s cold with their beautiful wood fireplace. There’s no TV so you’d better enjoy each other’s company! There’s also not yet a kitchen sink or cooking facilities inside but there’s a great BBQ.
The hosts Paul and Abei are just absolutely lovely and provide a little basin for you to put away your dishes which they will take away to wash. The installation of a sink is in the plans though.
