About this house rental

Elmview House and Apartment on Symons is located in the heart of Healesville, an easy two minute walk to the main street. With views across to Mt St Leonard, the heritage listed property has five bedrooms and can host up to 10 people. There is a three bedroom house and a two bedroom studio apartment. Both are self contained with kitchen and living areas. Wi-fi internet is included. There is also a large entertaining area with Weber BBQ and outdoor table. Relax and enjoy the sunset from the wide verandahs that surround the house.

The whole property can sleep up to 10 people across five bedrooms.
The house - Accommodates six guests across three queen bedrooms. There are two bathrooms, a full country style kitchen, formal lounge room with smart TV and large veranda overlooking Healesville. With original hardwood floors, pressed tin ceilings and panelled walls, this house is full of charm and character.
Studio Apartment - Accommodates four guests across two bedrooms below the main house. There is also another bathroom, small kitchenette and living area opening out to a garden setting. Both bedrooms have smart TVs.
All linen is provided.
There is ducted heating throughout the property with split system air conditioners in both the kitchen and lounge and ceiling fans in all the bedrooms.
Minimum night stays in place over peak periods. Pricing is dependent on how many bedrooms are required, please send through an enquiry if you have any questions.

We stayed there as a big bunch of friends and it was great. However, it would work really well for a couple of families travelling together. The beds are comfy and the bathrooms are very functional. The separate unit downstairs was terrific too. The location is fantastic. Walking distance to everything- although walking back up the hill may be challenging for people with mobility issues.

My family came from interstate to celebrate my son's wedding. The house was perfect for our family with plenty of space both upstairs in the house and downstairs in the apartment. It was clean, light and well located. I would highly recommend this property.

Great venue for group of 5 couples. Enough room to not be in each others pockets but found ourselves congregating at the large dining table in the kitchen all the time. Great location - walk to shops, coffee and bars. Would recommend to others and would be happy to stay again.

The house and property was beautiful and very spacious. The location of the property was fantastic close to main street of Healesville. This beautiful old house has been setup to accommodate a large group of guests with ease. A large kitchen enabled us to have a big family breakfast and the bedrooms were large and spacious. We had 3 couples sleep in the main house and one couple sleep in the apartment downstairs. The balcony out the back was a great spot for afternoon and evening drinks. Really lovely home that met our needs perfectly. We got to spend time together as a family with enough space still to do our own thing.

Exactly what we needed

We needed a property that was suitable for 10 adults attending my daughter's wedding. This property was ideal, it was a 2 minute walk to the main road and the amenities were just right. It's a beautiful period property with underfloor heating which we certainly needed. The host, TJ, was amenable and helpful.

The house was extremely beautiful , comfortable and provided wonderful accommodation for a very special family wedding I think that the on line view under represented the beauty and functionality of this house .The house has excellent bedroom accommodation and ample living spaces to accommodate many people . The kitchen was extremely functional and was able to cater to all the needs of 10 family members over three days Location is excellent for access to the Healesville shopping centre and to the winery tours and other facilities that are in Healesville Would highly recommend this property for a very special event
