We had a wonderful visit at Crescent Beach and St. Augustine. We're very familiar with Four Winds and have stayed at various condos there for over 10 years. This unit was very nice. It was stocked well with starter basics, had enough towels and washcloths for each person to have one (we did have to wash them each night), and everything we needed in the kitchen to prepare meals. The views from the balcony were just as pictured. We had a little trouble with our keyless entry pad the first couple of days, but once it was determined the unit needed a new battery, we were able to change it (with Barbara's kind assistance) and that was that. All appliances worked as they should -- we loved the BIG washer and dryer and the icemaker kept up with demand all week. The furniture was comfortable as well as the beds. We had some back and forth phone calls with Barbara the first few days and she always responded quickly and was helpful to us. We would stay here again and recommend it highly.

Individual condo and host were absolutely fantastic! Beautiful place, and host was available immediately for any issues we encountered.
Plan to double park to load and unload your belongings, but main lot is convenient short walk away from second floor door.
Balcony overlooks pool and has view of beach, just a couple minutes walk away. HOA doesn’t do much to control the midges at the pool, so plan for bug spray if you visit in the summer, but the beach was absolutely amazing and we spent every day out there.
Overall would definitely recommend a stay here!

The condo was exactly as described and there were some additional pleasant surprises that made our stay more comfortable. There was a problem with an appliance that Barbara quickly notified us of before we arrived. The layout was nice and we enjoyed ourselves.

Barbara's condo was very nice. It was clean and comfortable. It was well stocked with all the supplies you would need for a vacation. Easy access to pool and beach. Nice view of both the pool and beach as well. Beach was nearly empty which was great! Easy drive to downtown St. Augustine. There are a few restaurants in the vicinity, but most within a 10 minute drive. The kitchen was superbly stocked with cooking utensils, so eating in is very easy! Communication with owner is excellent! Would highly recommend as a rental!

This property was very convenient to the nice beach! It was clean and had all the amenities we needed. We could drive about a mile to see a nice sunset and it was a short drive (maybe 20-25 mins) to downtown St, Augustine. A relaxing area and great for families and kids.

Although we are native to St Augustine, we live in Virginia now. We come back as often as we can and have stayed in nearly every condo complex in Crescent Beach. We loved staying at this condo and hope to return here the next time we are in town! It’s the perfect location on our favorite stretch of beach!

What a wonderful stay! We have 3 kids ages 4-16 and there was something for everyone without ever leaving the property. Barbara was an exceptional host. Communicative and helpful. She went out of her way to make sure it was a great stay. My only complaint: our vacation end date eventually came. I only hope we get to return in the future.

Great place on a great beach.
Very peaceful beautiful beach only steps away. Ocean view from the balcony and windows. Great for families. Only thing to take note of is you have to climb stairs to get to the unit, bedrooms, and the beach. So not good for ADA. I would definitely stay there again.

We enjoyed our stay. The condo was clean and appeared just as listed. Convenient to the pool and beach. The only downside was the limited hot water. Only about 20 mins worth which is tough for a family of 4 to get a warm shower. Outside of that, we loved it.

Barbara's Condo was exactly as advertised--in fact it was better. The Condo was spotless, kitchen appliances new, had everything needed to prepare meals. Comfortable bedding and huge master shower. Beautiful and very clean condo in a nice, quiet and not very populated area! The condo was fully stocked with anything we needed for the time we were there, and we spent lots of time inside (rain, COVID...) Very nice walk short walk to the beach. Nice view of pool, new tvs, nice bathrooms. The HVAC needs modernizing. Warning in booklet not to turn temp down below 71, or icing will occur. You get to pay for repairman if needed. Downs stairs was fine Upstairs. HOT HOT HOT. Even with fans. Hard to sleep.

Location to the beach was fantastic!
We loved the closeness to the beach and pool. The condo was well stocked and comfortable. We would have preferred two twin beds in one bedroom as we were traveling with two teens but that was my fault for not checking the bed setup before booking. TP holder in one bathroom was broken. Water pressure in the showers was lacking. Curtains in the bedrooms were nearly sheer so don't plan on sleeping in! The condo also had a musty smell which was covered by way too much air freshener. Four Winds was a lovely, closely-knit area and we plan to stay here again next year with other groups from our family. Thank you for the wonderful vacation!!!

Nice, quiet, family place
It was really good. Clean, only disappointment was only had 2 towels and no bathcloths. There were three of us, so bring those if you want. I purchased 3 more beach towels but, could have done without. Barbara is quick to answer any questions. The upstairs shower was so nice and double heads (if you get me ;)).

Fabulous view from condo!
We had a wonderful week at this condo! If we weren't having our coffee on the beach to watch the sunrise, then we were sitting on the balcony enjoying breakfast and the beautiful view. In April, the sun was rising just at the corner of the building, so you can still enjoy it without leaving the condo. The unit is spacious with a full kitchen, which we really appreciated. We were able to make nice meals, and pack our cooler bags with picnic lunches for our daily adventures. Having a full fridge/freezer, dishwasher, and a washer and dryer make it so easy to pack light and really enjoy the vacation.
We found the master bed comfy, and loved that we could hear the surf when we opened the window. And what a wonderful breeze when we opened the 2nd bedroom window! The upstairs full bathroom actually has a huge double shower, and the downstairs full bathroom has a small shower stall. We appreciated having two full bathrooms with showers instead of tubs.
The condo is a 2-story townhouse, located on the 2nd floor of the building, so there's exterior steps up to the 2nd level of the building where you find the condo's lower level main entrance. On the first level, you'll find the smaller bathroom, kitchen, living area, washer/dryer, and the balcony (did I mention it has a wonderful view of the ocean??). A set of stairs leads you up to both bedrooms and the larger full bathroom on the 2nd level of the condo.
The grounds are beautiful with lots of colorful hibiscus and fragrant hedges. There are two heated pools, but we only utilized the pool just outside the condo. And yes, it was warm! We stayed the first full week of April, and the pool was at least 83-85 degrees!
We loved the proximity to Matanzas Inlet barely a mile down the road, and Washington Oaks just a few miles further. Flagler Beach is an easy ride, as is St. Augustine Beach and downtown areas. We found that taking the 206 across to US-1 made it really easy to go north to our favorite Publix, into downtown St.Aug, or just to hop on 95 to go where ever! The condo is really a great central location to get just about any where with relative ease.

Great place to forget about Covid!
We loved the place! We came for a Spring Break and to celebrate my son’s 18 th birthday. I was very hesitant about traveling during pandemia- but this place is just perfect. This 2 bedroom/ 2 bath, 2 story townhouse made us feel like at home! The place is very clean, new appliances/ furnitures. Floors are easy to maintain- ceramic tile and laminate floors easy to clean/ sanitize. Everything looks bright and airy and what a great ocean view! And you are on the beach! Many secluded beaches and state parks in the area, hiking trials around- if you are afraid of big crowds- this is a place for you! And if you miss civilisation - beatiful historic St. Augustine is just a short drive away.

Very beautiful area -- Nor'easter ruined our stay
The condo is nice and the location would be wonderful if the weather cooperates. A nor 'easter ruined our trip. No pool time or beach time. It was too late to cancel by the time we saw the weather forecast. The cold and wind was the worse I had experienced besides in a hurricane! Be careful renting this condo if anyone with you can't do steep, small stairs. The bedrooms are upstairs. If the weather cooperated it would be a very nice place to stay!
