About this house rental

Enjoy the peace and tranquility of the stunning Quinta do Pé Descalço, located at the foothills of Sintra. Discover the beautiful Sintra-Cascais Natural Park by mountain bike, visit the stunning palaces of Sintra, request a yoga class at the Quinta or simply relax by the open air swimming pool.

The property has a big charming Portuguese country house and an annex.

The use of the garden and swimming pool with outdoor barbecue will be for private use for guests and there is space to park cars inside the property.

MAIN HOUSE, with 4 bedrooms:

- Regaleira: Large ensuite room with designer finishings. Big double bed and garden views. Antique writing desk and cosy reading corner. Big bathroom with bathtub and rain shower.
- Módulo Pena-Mouros: Two spacious rooms with designer finishings. Choose between 2 single or one double bed. Big bathroom with bathtub shared between the two rooms. Ideal for a family or group of friends.
- Capuchos: Nice cosy room with garden views and designer finishings. Wooden solid bunk beds with confortable mattresses for all ages. Private bathroom with shower.

ANNEX BUILDING:

- Room Ribafría: Bright annex room with designer finishings. Choose between 2 single or one double bed. Big bathroom with shower.
- Studio Monserrate: Bright annex studio. Separate bedroom (double bed), living room with sofá-bed and kitchenette. Private bathroom. With shower.

Common spaces in the main house:

- Extra toilet by the common areas.
- Small open living room.
- Large common living room with an open fireplace, overlooking the vast lush garden and swimming pool.
- Dining room and fully equipped kitchen, also with direct Access to the garden.
- Poolside barbecue and 2 toilets by the swimming pool.

Also:

- Central heating in the main house and electrical heating in the annex rooms.
- Fan in all rooms.
- Mosquito screens in all bedrooms and bathrooms.
- Linen and towels included. Also bathroom amenities such shower gel, shampoo, hairdryer and toilet paper.
- Travel cot for babies/children available upon request.

We (Ricardo and Patricia) live in the Quinta and we are always available to our guests to help them with everything they need to make their stay Sintra perfect, and giving them at the same time absolute privacy and exclusivity in the use not only of the guesthouse, but the garden and pool.

Beautiful house with annex, special BBQ corner and a great swimming pool. Typical Portuguese tiles, a great spacious feel. The place has rooms which needs to be carefully understood if you are allocating couples and children. 2 people are counted to be on a sofa bed, which none of the adults really wanted on a holiday. The bunk beds were great for children but the room is next to the kitchen and far away from the rooms where the adults can sleep so one parent had to sleep with the child in a bunk bed. The place is run as a B&B so the owner is very hands on quite a different experience from other VRBO places we have rented where we were informed of the house rules and left alone completely. They live in the premises, have very specific rules and were monitored. We were harassed by a wild cat through out the meals and went into the kitchen if that wasn't kept closed. The children had to be kept away from it. Overall a good experience but wish we had actually looked at the layout of the place given we had couples with children who needed to be together. Thanks for hosting us.

Das Haus ist sehr sauber und ordentlich. Patricia kümmert sich um alles und hilft jedem gerne weiter. Es war ein rundum gelungener Urlaub inmitten des wunderschönen Naturschutzgebiets. Wir kommen immer wieder gerne dorthin.
