Nice Beach Side location, roomy 2 BR condo with all housekeeping appliances, supplies, dishes, etc.
Unit bathrooms and kitchen are a little 'dated, but clean.
Exterior porch needs a good cleaning, pressure washing and painting, mold on railings and floor, rusty nails showing thru painted clap board.
Porch furniture with broken seat slats.
Walkway to beach is in rough shape, wood rails just about falling apart.

The listing was very accurate. Unit was clean on arrival. Check-in/Check out was easy and owner was very responsive to my questions prior to arrival. This was our first trip to OBX and this location was nice. Quiet, far enough away from everything but close enough to convenience stores and Jeanette's pier. It's also only about a two minute walk to the beach. We had a great time and there was plenty of room for family of 4 with adult children.

We've previously vacationed at this property, but this was our first time at this condo. Everything went great for our stay and the room had everything we needed. As others have mentioned, the proximity to the beach is unbeatable.

Enjoyed the property. It was perfect. On one note. There was not a pull out couch/bed in the living room as stated. We did not need it but for only one person and the regular sofa worked fine.

The property was great. Walked right out to the beach, two pools (the smaller was great for my tiny swimmers, and they loved the pirate ship playground. Location was great too between the piers. Highly recommend.

Things you need to know. Yes 2nd floor but yes 3 flights of stairs, luggage lift helps but slow as molasses. Property needs updating couches newer but that’s it! Bathrooms clean but really old.
Washer and dryer in unit but drier takes 120 minutes to dry the average load maybe 20 minutes longer. Nice location but needs table on balcony throw out the old broken chairs (plastic ones they are cracked don’t want anyone sitting on them!) newer chairs on balcony ok but even they are wiggly. Renter has to empty dehumidifier daily and I might add listen to it continuously in the middle of living room. It was clean but hard to appreciate with such old and worn out cupboards cabinets flooring and such.
Rusty vents rusty door knobs, bedroom balcony door not functional, main room patio door no outdoor handle you have to push on glass to get back in, obviously broken for very long time. Things like these could be easily fixed! Obvious water spots on ceilings in master and main bath
Could be easily fixed, paints cheap! Balcony siding is full of rusty nail heads no other balcony around looked this bad. Just wash off balcony
Green mildew. Bedding comforters had stains how about replace? 4 bathroom towels for entire unit. Overall probably won’t be back to this unit but did love location.

We texted Steve about an extra key and fridge not working. He never got back to us. Inside was clean but outside could use a paint job. Had to go out and buy more laundry detergent,toilet paper and garbage bags. For the price you pay these amenities could have been provided. Will look for another place next year

My family and I had a wonderful time. I highly recommend this place. The kids enjoyed the pool and the easy access to the beach. We will be booking this place again for next summer. The location is perfect.

Property owner recommended a restaurant Wich was amazing. Other commenters complaining about furniture an stuff that problem has truly been fixed. Had a great time. Wen we come back I will check if this place is avalible. Property owner even texted to have a safe trip home upon checkout

The condo was very nice and comfortable. It was adequately stocked in kitchen. Surroundings were safe and clean with a very short walk to the beach. On the downside, the property needs a sign of the luggage lift. We carried luggage up all the stairs. Also, ad needs to mention this unit is up 3 flights of stairs. It was difficult making that walk up for seniors. Jacuzzi tub is nice, however, it’s difficult getting in and out due to the height which makes it unsafe. Would’ve been nice to have more than one towel each for a week. And, when we did do laundry the night before leaving the dryer was such a low heat that our clothes didn’t dry with two long heat cycles. Had to take our clothes home wet. Overall, we had a great time in OBX and will miss the morning coffee on the balcony.

Our family of 3 fit very well in this “side” ocean view condo. The property manager was quickly responsive to my questions on linens and wifi password. The kitchen was fully equipped for dinner preparation. Great beach front access to a “quieter” portion of the ocean. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

It is a nice clean property with a well equipped kitchen. The beach was right outside the biulding, clean and not crowded. They also had two outside showers to rinse off the sand and two swimming pools. The unit is really on the 3rd floor and without elevator, just a small lift for suitcases and groceries. This was not concern for us though since we do not have smaler kids. Stephen was very fast to respond to my questions.

This place was clean and comfortable. There was more to do than I thought there would be. It was in a great area and the beach wasn't crowded or trashed. I would definitely stay there again!

We have stayed at Pierview in the past and loved the location. Very clean and welcoming unit. This room was a great place to stay with some minor inconveniences. The sliding glass door to the balcony in the master bedroom isn’t useable. The door to the balcony from living area works but handle is broken off to get back in. Beds are alright when you are completely exhausted. Kitchen isn’t stocked very well, my 8 year old had to eat with giant spoons. Lol. Great location to both pools and the beach! Which is the reason to go to the outer banks. The new couch in the living room is absolutely the most comfortable thing in the unit!!

Amazing!
Pictures don't do the condo justice. It was very clean and nice! It has been updated since the pictures were taken. There wasn't any mold like others had mentioned. It had a dehumidifier and stayed very comfortable in there. The location was very good and not far from stores, and some things were within walking distance. There was great communication with the owner, and none of us had any complaints about this condo. We would definitely stay here again!

Affordable and on the beach
Older, somewhat dated condo but met our needs which was a place to hang out when not out and about and somewhere to sleep. Condo itself isn't beach front but is ocean view from the side and it's hard to find anywhere with this rate and a flexible cancelation policy steps from the beach.
The cleaning crew could use to spend some extra time on a deep cleaning very soon but all in all we would definitely stay again in the future if it's available. Owner very responsive and easy to work with.
Only gave 3 starts on the cleaning rating but overall it's still a 5 if you don't have overly demanding needs and/or expectations.

Outer Banks vacation
The condo has a good potential. Convenient floor plan. It's outdated. Kitchen and bathrooms are all functional but old. Furniture is old. Living room furniture is not comfortable to sit and relax. TV in master bedroom needs to change. Location is great. Just steps away from the beach. Restaurants and stores are also close by. Restaurants were pretty busy at dinner time, so sometimes we had 30 min to an hour wait.

Black Mold
I stayed one night and packed up and had to get a whole new property through a local realtor. If I could have found a vacancy for the first night I wouldn't have stayed one night. Black mold everywhere. In the air vents, which is clearly visible. Room reeks of mold and mildew. If you like not being able to breath and breathing in harmful Black mold spores then this is the condo for you. I contacted the owner and vrbo both about a refund
The owner flat out refused and vrbo hung up on me. I will be filing a lawsuit for sure. The couple in charge of the condos are super nice, but there is no quick remediation for black mold. The actual owner couldn't care any less about the health and safety of his guests. Not only is there black mold present, but the whole unit is filthy and disgusting.

Ocean view
Easy check in. NO ROWDY teens or young adults. A little dated, but clean and quiet . Loved the pool and we loved having a place to grill with picnic tables. Very nice people staying their also and enjoyed seeing dogs staying at the facility

Close to the ocean
Location of this condo is great. You're steps away from the ocean. The furniture in the condo needs some update. The couch in the living seriously have to go. It's very uncomfortable to a point that you would rather sit on the center table instead. Tv on the masters needs some update as well. Location is great. It has a full kitchen as well. One thing that I want to add is Just bring your own sheets and comforter if I were you.

Condo on the beach
This place was great for location and right on the beach with its own beach access. The only complaint we had was the couch was so uncomfortable you can’t set on it and be comfortable at all and the tv in the bedroom need updated and hung so badly. We had some rainy days and after a long day on the beach it is nice to chill on the couch and watch a little tv and unwind. This is not possible in the living room or bedroom. Everything else was great.

Excellent location
The location and all other guests were amazing. The actual condo however needs new furniture. The living room furniture is super uncomfortable. The place also smells of mold of mildew, I think the carpet needs changed.

Great condo!
We stayed here for our vacation this year and was not disappointed!! Very spacious condo with everything you need. Wish the couch was a little more comfy (newer)..but I’d stay here again in a heartbeat! Great location..luggage lift was a lifesaver! Thanks again for a wonderful experience!
