About this house rental

Summer living less than a 1/2 mile from one of Cape Cod's best beaches! This home offers room to spread out, with living and sun rooms, 3 bedrooms and 2 baths across 1,250 square feet. The wraparound deck is the perfect place to share a meal after a day spent exploring the beaches, bike paths, and shopping areas of Chatham. Cathedral ceilings in sunroom and master. Sleeps 6 very comfortably. Enjoy a private setting just off the main beach road, nestled on a low-traffic loop street with conservation land behind the home.

The home's amenities include keyless smart lock entry, central air conditioning, 55-inch ultra HD TV with YouTube or fubo TV, and a desk and chair setup in the master bedroom. Freshly-laundered bed linens, bath and kitchen towels are provided.

Outside, you'll find Adirondacks on the front-yard patio, private outdoor shower with rainfall head, and table seating for 6 on the back deck with Sunbrella umbrella and Weber gas grill.

In the shed, you'll find a beach cart, four beach chairs, and various beach toys for your use. Bikes are not provided but can be stored in the shed (1 minute bike ride to the beach!).

The home has a Nest video doorbell at the entryway and a Google Home display device inside the home for your use. WiFi was upgraded in late 2023.

Recent updates include new roof, new windows throughout the original cottage; new quartz countertop, sink and tile in the kitchen, and renovated bathrooms. Book soon!

My family and I had a wonderful late summer week at the Private Cottage at Ridgevale Beach - Chatham. The house was perfect for the 6 of us with plenty of space to accommodate some work days. The house was meticulously clean and well equipped for a week or longer stay. Chris was great to work with and very responsive. Will stay again in future.

In excellent condition, comfortable and well appointed. Quiet neighborhood within walking distance to a beautiful beach. Food sources and restaurants are very accessible. I have rented several vacation houses over the years and this by far beats them all!

We had a wonderful week of the 4th. The house was perfect; great lay out, equipped with everything we needed & beautifully updated and extremely clean. We felt right at home. We especially loved the convenience of walking to the beach (thanks for providing the wagon!). Highly recommend!

Very clean, spacious, comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook our meals. Information provided was perfect, easy to read, just what we needed. Easy walk to the beach. Highly recommend Marion's Pie Shop and Impudent Oyster Restaurant.

We just spent one week at the cottage this Summer and had a wonderful family time here. The house is very clean and well equipped with towels, sheets, beach umbrella and chairs. The deck and backyard provides a nice place for kids to run around and for family bbq/dinner time. The neighborhood is quite private and quiet. Very easy walk to the beach. Easy communication with the owner. Beth and Chris left very detailed instructions and even included a thoughtful list of local restaurants/activities. My parents and young kids all loved our time here. Would love to come back next Summer!

We had a wonderful stay. We haven't spent time on the Cape since my oldest was a toddler in 2016. The house was very comfortable and well appointed. We appreciate all the beach stuff and not having to bring our own. Being able to walk to the beach with 2 kids was perfect. Would love to come back!

We stayed in this Chatham home for a week with our daughter and her partner. We gave them the very large master bedroom suite with king bed, large closet, private bathroom and laundry area. They felt very spoiled and loved their private space. We appreciated the generous amount of towels, kitchen items and blankets/sheets. This home was extremely clean upon arrival. My husband really enjoyed the outside shower.

We came to Chatham in October for a soccer tournament and were so lucky to find this place! It's impeccably clean, cute, stylishly decorated and well equipped. It had all the things we might need, towels, paper products, laundry detergent and a well stocked kitchen. Quiet neighborhood and while we weren't here during summer we did take a walk down the beach which was easy to access. It was perfect for our family of four.

It was very comfortable and we enjoyed ourselves and it was a nice tranquil neighborhood. The cleanliness of the home was wonderful and we took pride in returning it to hopefully the same and be respectful of the property. We love Chatham and will return, the two young cousins we had stay with us could only stay two days but loved the fishing and did not want to leave. Thank you Lorraine

My husband and I have rented a number of properties in Chatham and this is at the top of the list. The updated home is bright, beautifully decorated and offers great amenities. Lovely deck with privacy, overlooking the bog. Beth was delightful and very responsive. Just terrific! Hoping to stay again next summer!

Clean, great furnishings, very open and lots of natural light. We enjoyed our week vacation at the Cape and this was a great home to relax in…walking distance to a great beach, well-stocked with linens, towels, cooking supplies, blankets, etc. The owner really makes it easy. My family and I just returned from a week at this lovely home. First off, location to Ridgevale beach is amazing (5 mins or less walk) - Ridgevale is one of the best beaches on the Cape and is particularly great for kids. Secondly, the home is adorable, clean and all the appliances are new. There is a great deck, outdoor shower and nice yard. The neighborhood is quiet and safe with a combination of residents and renters. Lastly, the owners are fantastic. They are very organized, thoughtful and prompt with communication. My family and I have stayed at many rental properties and these owners are some of the best we've worked with. If you are looking for a wonderful home, with wonderful owners next to one of the best beaches, this is the home for you!!

Welcoming! The inside of the house was light and bright. All of the accoutrements were there (paper towels, napkins, paper plates, Toilet paper, etc.) when arrived. A folder with all kinds of directions with it into the house and local restaurants was also present.

This home has it all. It is a quarter mile to Ridgevale Beach and a short drive into downtown Chatham. Recently renovated, its open floor plan and large windows provide lots of light, while pocket and glass paneled doors to the largest bedroom and rear sitting area allow for privacy and more quiet when desired. Appliances are new, beds are comfortable, and sheets and towels and other amenities that are provided are very good quality. The view from the rear deck onto a salt marsh is stunning. Beth was a pleasure to deal with and very responsive. For example, when we asked about a tea kettle, a brand new one arrived promptly.

We booked this house at the last minute due to a family emergency in Chatham and were so grateful for a clean, pleasant place to "land." It is roomy and well-equipped with plenty of space to spread out, a wrap-around deck that beckons for meals or coffee outside, and a well-stocked kitchen. It was the small, thoughtful amenities, however, that really made the stay--an iron and ironing board, cookbooks, nice hand soap and towels in each bathroom, plenty of paper goods, shampoo and body wash in each shower, a full set of pots and pans and knives for cooking. The beds were comfortable with nice, cotton, sheets. It’s in a wonderful, convenient location and Beth was easy to communicate with, but all these little things really made it a memorable stay.
