Welcome to the Original Shipping Container Cabin in the heart of Red River Gorge! This beautiful, unique cabin is hand crafted and fully equipped for a perfect, relaxing stay in the gorge. It has amazing views of the cliff lines out of the huge floor to ceiling windows and a view of the private fire pit.

The cabin features two bedrooms, both with king beds, and a full bathroom with walk in shower. The living room has a large leather sectional and ottoman and 55 inch television, DishNetwork, DVD player, and WIFI. The kitchen is fully equipped with all appliances, dishes, and cooking utensils. The cabin is climate controlled (Air Conditioning and Heat) and has city water. There is a covered porch with chairs to enjoy the view and relax outside even if its raining. Outside the cabin is a nice private patio with a fire pit, chairs, and a hot tub! The road to the cabin is paved making access to the cabin easy.

There is a lockbox at the front door with the key in it. You will receive a code a couple days before your stay.

Please note that the wifi is good for basic browsing and internet use but may not support streaming.

This checked all the boxes for my husband and I. It met our expectations which we do set the bar pretty high. Very clean and well constructed. The container is designed in a way when you walk in has a modern cabin feel with some unique touches. The whole property is secluded though in a great location for staying near or within the Gorge. The host Amanda was easy to get ahold if needed. Make sue you go to Toads bar/restaurant,just a few miles away. We will be back!

Our stay was amazing ! Very homie & comfortable! Beautiful place just like the photos actually better than the photos. The host responded very quickly! The fire pit and hot tub we really enjoyed! Over all very nice stay & we do plan to rebook again & again!

My husband and I stayed here for a long weekend and we loved it. The layout is great, the location is great and the design is incredible with the container. We felt it was centrally located to a lot of the things to do in the area, but still very secluded while at the cabin. I imagine it would be great to visit during the fall when the leaving are changing, so we will definitely stay here again. Beds are comfortable, bathroom is small as can be expected but functional, kitchen is well stocked with cooking necessities, hot tub was great. We didn’t get to use the fire pit due to the weather, but it would have been great.

Fantastic property and location to all of the activities in the RRG. Highly recommend this property. We had a great time kayaking the Gorge Underground and riding at Cable’s Stables. Plus great eats at 145 Roadhouse, Redpoint BBQ, and Toads BARn.

The photos of this place do not do it justice! I was amazed at how roomy and clean it was! The beds were comfortable, the hot tub and fire pit were inviting, it was just an overall great place! I wish we would have been able to stay more than one night, so I'm hoping we will be back! Thank you so much for sharing your storage container cabin! :)

This place intrigued me by its uniqueness. I didn’t have any particular plans to visit the area, but did so because of this place. I was immaculate and just as pictured and described. I was very impressed with the design and build of this storage container cabin. Communication with the host was very quick and very helpful. I definitely would stay again.

The container cabin exceeded all of our expectations for a family of 4. We loved everything: layout, kitchen, laundry, grill, hot tub and firepit. We enjoyed hiking, rock climbing and swimming...all within a short drive from the cabin. We had a great time and would definitely book again!

It was wonderful! The container cabin was immaculately clean and the hosts couldn’t be more accommodating. The location of the cabin was perfect. Near so many sites and activities. Great cabin and compliments to the handyman who made this out of a number of containers. Inside all is available, perfect beds, big TV, a lot of space and very clean. Beautiful view over the mountains in an environment that is perfect for hikers with a lot of very nice trails. My wife enjoyed the jacuzzi a lot. We must give a maximum score and thank you for having us.

First off, we would go out of our way to stay here again. The property was beautiful and the pictures of the cabin do not do it justice. The property owner was very easy to communicate with and responded quickly when you send a message. The cabin and property were immaculately clean and ammenities were very well kept.This has been added as a must stay next time we are in the area.
