Room was literally like the attic room looked at the others really nice clean ours had a lock on the outside of the bathroom but not the inside...🤨 Also I am in a wheelchair claim they have downstairs room but turns out the bloody chef lives in that room so I had to walk up thankfully not the spiral staircase but the other 1 that had about 1000 steep steps while I'm struggling up them with help from my partner the manager yes manager just watched us and then buggered off and didn't see again no personal touch or even some some kindness by coming to check we got in room ok or anything at all we then phoned down to ask about breakfast following morning at 7.30 to be told needed to be booked night before if wanted anything bearing in mind still 2 hrs until breakfast time stops so no food at all no food as the night before guess what the chef was moving out we then get told...the TV was absolutely tiny ..erm no the chef lived in the room we had awful freezing....no phone in room shut signal as was literally in the top room going literally attic....asked to see if could just stay in room ABIT later then check out yeah will be fine the day before she said then that morning we literally got told u need to leave by 10.30 latest so there's again my partner getting wheelchair luggage and me down all them stairs on his own......bathroom couldnt get in the shower was freezing and clearly no actual heating in there as radiator pipes were just on the not even attached to the bloody radiator so had smallest little heater thing I think Lapland was wamer then that room u normally take layers off to go bed no we were putting more on....wasn't even cleaned the chair in there didn't even have all matching legs on it they put the kettle the other end to any plug sockets...

I was happy with my stay there. It was only for the night

Nice clean room and good location . staff are very helpful and polite.

The stairs were a bit difficult for me to go up and down with my luggage. But it could be because I have joint pain.

Disappointing.

Good location for the races, however very tired, could do with a proper clean and refresh.

Booked a double room but got a small double. Tired, dirty and repairs needed.

the fact that the taps r severely turned up which lead to my girlfriend to scold herself also getting a room change because of a leak when using the bath wasn’t very good room was very dusty and unsanitary. the curtains didn’t cover the window too

great place to rest from a hard days work

great character to the property, lots of parking at the back and easy to access the town centre as well as the roads out and about. nice dining area and chatty owners if you fancy taking your mind off a days work.

stairs are quite steep to get to the rooms just worth bearing in mind if you have heavy luggage or no so able.

Lovely B&B in the heart of Uttoxeter. Great for Alton Towers or the Races

Great location in the centre of Uttoxeter. Very handy for Alton Towers. Friendly accomodatjnc staff. Nice pubs and bars nearby. Free on site parking. Very nice English breakfast and the gentleman serving breakfast could not have been more attentive, nothing was too much trouble.

Great location, staff very friendly and helpful.

Very squeaky bed and every floorboard in the room squeaked so difficult to sleep and not to wake each other up. Very dated.

Dirty but OK

The Bed was comfy and we had a decent night sleep, and staff were kind and polite on check in and check out they were able to assist with anything we needed. Good location near the town Center good walking distance and plenty of parking to the back of the hotel itself. You got two room keys one for the room and one for the entrance to the hotel so we were able to stay out as late as we wanted and the room was a non smoking room which was a bonus. Very very warm when we got there so we turned the radiators down but that’s such a good thing during the winter as it can be freezing. So that was nice

The room was filthy… I can’t lie there was dust everywhere the window was smashed and cello-taped together, I wish I was joking. The hot water tap was hot which was great but the cold water tap was warm as well so we had no cold water at all. The room was just incredibly dirty and not cleaned properly, the dust everywhere was quite concerning and the window was just shocking, especially because we couldn’t even open it, it was sealed shut completely Definitely not worth the £70 we paid for the night wouldn’t stay again, stick to premier inn

Superb

Lovely old fashioned hotel in the heart of an historic market town. Lors of pubs and restaurants nearby, and shops. Rail snd bus services available. Excellent location just of A 50. Cosy, quiet. Very friendly and helpful staff. Good breakfast available at reasonable price.

Grouting in bathroom could do with replacing. No other negative comments.

The bells from the church opposite rang all throughout the night every half hour
