Horrible experience! The most overrated accommodation I have ever .

Only that it is somewhat historical.

Poor maintenance. Location hard to find. Grounds are unattractive. No doubt, years ago, it was lovely but it has truly gone down. It is dirty, needs painting throughout. Carpets worn. Old velvet covered chairs . Old curtains, worn and faded. Gloomy, dark atmosphere. Old, outdated , cheap furniture in bedroom. No coffee maker. No microwave. No plastic or paper drinking cups. I was so cold in my room and at 2:00 am called the front desk on my cell phone ( the room phone didn’t work) . A man came and adjusted the console for the wall unit which came on but did not produce heat. Around 8:00 am I requested heat again and the maid rolled in a portable electric unit. By that time I had decided to leave. I was booked for two nights but I left after one night, just swallowing the loss. Never again!

Superb

Beautiful place, located very conveniently not far from a motorway. Old villa turned into a hotel. There is even a chapel on the premises. Great breakfast which is included into the price.

Plenty of car parking, no stairs to lug up cases, big , clean rooms. Staff were very helpful & went out of their way to help.

Faded grandeur, loved it. Evening meal and breakfast excellent. A tad out of the way but worth the effort. Room with private patio, a pleasant change. Would definitely use again.

Exceptional stay at a beautiful location.

We liked the rural location. Beautiful buildings and gardens.the pool was fabulous. We felt very comfortable and at home. It was old school charm.Thank you.

AMAZING PACE!!! Absolutely stunning nature of the surroundings, spacious room with direct garden exit beautifully decorated with flowers, very comfortable bed, very good continental breakfast, great personnel — everything was just right and perfect. 😃

Great place to stay (car needed)

Very nice accommodation at an affordable price with a functional breakfast. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The place is amazing and very well maintained.

All right, I suppose.

The breakfast was quite good and the waitresses very nice and supportive! The surroundings were very quiet and peaceful!

When we came back to the room, the bed was undone and the bathroom had not been cleaned... When we did the check in, the lady did ask us whether we wanted the room cleaned up (a surprising question, I think...) and I answered that yes, if included in the price. But was it? I wonder...

Lovely place!

Friendly helpful staff, lovely grounds, spacious room, lovely open fire in the bar, enjoyed our evening meal

The cooked breakfast could have been hotter, but there was a good choice generally and we enjoyed it overall

Lovely location and large grounds. Food was good

All in need of updating. Staff were nice but not many. To try and get a drink to take to the pool some distance away took a very long time. Pool was grubby

Family weekend

Swimming pool with good water quality (but photos are better than the “real thing”).

We stayed in quite old room (main building), with very straight bed and air conditioning not fully working. The staff was not definitely nice, namely at the breakfast time (the charge extra a express coffee).

A place to visit again

The location and the surrounding nature. The swimming pool in the hot days. The night sky since the place is isolated and there is very little light polution.

The restrictions caused by the pandemic.

Quiet location with lots of character. Friendly staff.

Upgrade to a superior room in the main house. Quite frankly we preferred the standard rooms in the annexe that we had stayed in before.
