Leider nichts für mehr als 2 - 3 Nächte...

Die Lage war fantastisch. Unser Zimmer hatte Bergblick mit Panorama-Blick auf Schoss Neuschwanstein und Hohenschwangau. Das war großartig und hat die Tristesse des Zimmers wettgemacht. Der kleine "Aufenthaltsraum" war gut bestückt mit einem großen Kühlschrank für Getränke und nachmittags gab es immer etwas Kaffee und Kuchen. Auch Geschirr und Besteck konnte man sich mit aufs Zimmer nehmen. Für die Zimmer stand ein großer Kühlschrank bereit (jedes Zimmer hatte ein Fach) - das war sehr praktisch.

Die Ausstattung des Zimmers könnte für den Preis freundlicher, gemütlicher und etwas komfortabler sein. Ein Bett, ein Holztisch mit zwei harten Holzstühlen und ein Fernseher reichen nicht, um sich wohl zu fühlen. Das ist die Ausstattung einer besseren Jugendherberge. Das große Badezimmer hat uns gefallen - auch wenn der Whirlpool aus unerklärlichen Gründen abgestellt war. Hier stimmt das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis leider gar nicht mehr.

2 nights in Schwangau

- very kind and helpful staff; - convenient location halfway between Fussen and the Castles; - good breakfast; - free parking.

No air-conditioning, but a fan is provided.

Super !

De locatie - je kon makkelijk te voet naar de kastelen alsook naar het mooie dorpje Füssen, mooi korte en lange wandelingen door de bossen en langs de meren maken, te voet naar het restaurant Schlossbrauhaus Schwangau (toen wij er een paar dagen waren waren er niet direct veel restaurants open op wandelafstand maar bij Schlossbrauhaus was het wel lekker) Bij landhotel Guglhupf was het heerlijk: de kamers, het uitzicht, het overheerlijke ontbijt, de mooie inrichting met heel veel oog voor detail, en zeer zeker de vriendelijke uitbaters (broer en zus en mama die langskwam tijdens het ontbijt) Een echte aanrader ! Vergeet niet te proeven van de lekker guglhupf.... is dus Duits voor tulbandcake en al het andere lekkers van het ontbijt (of vieruurtje)

Ein unvergessliches Wochenende 🙏🏼☺️🤗

Wir waren zu unserem Jahrestag im Landhotel Guglhupf untergebracht und waren insgesamt 3 Tage vor Ort. Die Familie ist super freundlich und sehr zuvorkommend. Hatte zuvor mit dem Hotelbesitzer geschrieben um noch einiges abzusprechen und ein paar Vorbereitungen zu treffen damit meine Partnerin nichts mitbekommt. Es war einfach nur *SPITZE* vielen lieben Dank nochmal hierfür. Das Frühstück ist auch sensationell und es fehlt an nichts. Und wenn man doch den einen oder anderen Wunsch hat, wird auch dieser erfüllt. Alles in allem war es ein super schönes Wochenende, ein einzigartiger Aufenthalt mit vielen tollen Erlebnissen, Momenten und großen Emotionen. Dankeschön und liebe Grüße, von Katja und Michael

Gemütliche Tage im schönen Guglhuppf

Die Lage war gut, vieles war schnell und gut zu erreichen. Die Schlösser, der Tegelberg, alles auch zu Fuß zu erreichen. Das Zimmer war sehr schön, groß und gemütlich, die Matratzen für uns bischen zu weich, jeder mag es ja anders. Parkplätze genug vorhanden. Besonders hat uns der Frühstücksraum gefallen, war alles so schön hergerichtet und jeder Tisch war anders eingedeckt, die Auswahlwar groß, es gab alles was das Herz begehrt. Wir wurden immer nett begrüßt, auf Wünsche wurde eingegangen und es war immer Zeit für ein nettes Gespräch oder Tipps, sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Nachmittags stand immer Kuchen, Kaffe oder Tee bereit, fanden wir auch schön.Würde auf jeden Fall nochmal hier buchen. Danke an alle.

Ausser ein bisschen zu weiche Matratzen, hat uns alles gefallen.

Place was great, easy to get to town. Spectacular view and Uli , Daniel and Alex went above and beyond!

It was way better then I expected. The pictures do not give it justice.

My mom kept banging her h ad on slopped ceiling. Maybe a painted line as warning would be good.

We would love to go back to this location

We toured through Europe - probably the best hotel we stayed. Clean - friendly staff (very accommodating) - wonderful breakfast - great location

Very nice and would definitely stay again

I really liked they provided a pass for free bus service and other discounts. I like that they provided great information and access to a refrigerator. The bed was very comfortable and the balcony was a nice bonus. Having a table and chairs to sit at was unexpected and handy.

Like all rooms in Europe, the bathroom was smaller than what is typical in America. There is no A/C, but a fan of some sort would have been appreciated.

Friendly family run hotel.

Family run hotel, excellent breakfast, coffee/tea room to make drinks outside of hours. Ideally situated for the two castles. Walking distance to Fussen and Schwangau. Our room had mountain view.

Fantastic place with friendly staff that go above and beyond. Would definitely stay here again!

We woke up late for breakfast due to jet lag (you get an assigned time when you arrive). When we went to the breakfast room we were greeted and sat anyway even though we were over an hour late. The staff was extremely friendly. We were even asked if we had special breakfast wishes.

Nothing negative about this place at all.

loved it! very convenient location in a charming hotel.

we booked a room with a view of Neuschwanstein castle. the view was wonderful. breakfast was lovely each morning.

you had to be careful of sloped ceilings! but they added to the charm of the room!

Very good hotel

Staff very friendly and helpful. Location is very near to the two castles and you could walk if you are reasonably fit. Breakfast good and free coffee and cake in the afternoon. Rooms spacious. Nice walk into Fussen, better than parking there. The property is better than the photos show.

Bed is too low but was comfortable. Hot water is a bit variable when having a shower so runs hot then cold - don't think that the mixer is thermostatically controlled.

Nice place. We would stay again, but it was not number one on our list

Breakfast was typical. Location was close to most things.

The room was not furnished in typical Austrian fashion that we were expecting. It was clean, but not cozy.

highly recommend

self check in is easy and great. the room is large and has a terrace and a bathtub. the terrace is amazing with a view of the castles, and we had the most wonderful experience of watching the full moon raised right after the new swan castle. there are several free parking space which is nice.

there is no lift, but that acceptable since we lived on the third floor.

Beautiful view of Neuschwanstein Castle from our room. The room was clean and quiet. It was a very nice stay. Friendly and helpful staff. Great German breakfast with large of options to choose from.

Quaint, Clean, and Comfortable. We loved our stay!

Absolutely loved the reception we received when checking in. The gentleman was helpful in answering all of our questions and gave a great recommendation for dinner. Breakfast the next morning was excellent with a great variety of food choices. Very clean. Beautifully decorated for the Christmas season.

We love animals. However, 2 of my family members are allergic to cats. There was a sweet and friendly cat that roamed the reception area and the the snack room, and the dining area where we ate breakfast. That was the only drawback for those 2 family members- started some allergic symptoms of itchy eyes, nose, throat, etc. Nothing serious. Just uncomfortable.

Quick, convenient and clean (Would stay again)

The staff was very friendly and helpful, especially Alex, who facilitated contact with the bus station when we lost a phone on the bus to Neuschwanstein. The bus was free with the coupon we received from the hotel, so that was a nice bonus.

Just be careful if you book the top floor "room with a view", as the celing (roofline) is low in parts of the room. I hit my head a couple times...

Perfectly placed paradise

Breakfast was delicious and the breakfast room was adorable. Our room was very clean and comfortable. The balcony had a nice view of Füssen and the mountains. Around the backside of the hotel, you can see Neuschwanstein castle right against the mountain. Perfect location.

The two resident house cats decided they liked my friend more than me so I was a little sad. Honestly though, there was nothing that I didn't like about this stay.
