Our 2 bedroom, 1.5 bathroom condo situated on Main Street in Downtown Ouray is all about its unbeatable location. This well-appointed unit features a modern kitchen, hardwood floors, one-of-a-kind wood craftsmanship, with aspen ceilings. With all of the comforts of home, our suite provides the perfect all-season retreat for enjoying the abundant area activities that Ouray has to offer!

Parking - Main Street parking is available, other than the winter months. Parking on 8th Avenue next to the Goldbelt Restaurant is available year-round.
This suite is part of a three-unit complex called the Lotus Mountain Suites. The complex has a rich history in Ouray, dating back to the 1800s. Originally constructed in 1899 as the "OK Stables,” the complex is located adjacent to the iconic red barn, formerly the "Ouray Livery Stables," whose current location is direct across the street present-day Lotus Mountain Suites location. The "OK Stables" were a mainstay livery that provided accommodations for Ouray's earliest travelers -- horsemen, gold seekers, gunslingers, and the like. The OK Stables were dismantled around the early turn of the century when they were moved and reconstructed across the street in their present-day location. During your stay, you may encounter several relics indicative of the suites' rich history.
The suite can be rented individually, or the Lotus Mountain Complex can be rented altogether.
We are taking appropriate steps to prepare for your stay and have asked all housekeepers to adhere to the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) guidance relative to cleaning and disinfecting. In addition to our regular rigorous cleaning regimen, they follow housekeeping best practices, pay close attention to high touch surfaces, and use the EPA-approved disinfectants for hard (non-porous) surfaces, soft (porous) surfaces, and electronics. Linens, towels, bedsheets, etc., are washed per the manufacturer's guidelines. We are also minimizing person-to-person contact from check-in through departure. One of the ways we’re doing this is through no-contact guest access via our keyless entry system. We look forward to welcoming you to our home and hosting your stay.
Although the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has advised that Covid-19 is spread mainly by person-to-person contact, we follow CDC guidance relative to cleaning and disinfecting and are following best practices, including paying close attention to high touch surfaces and using the EPA-approved disinfectants for surfaces. Linens, towels, bedsheets, etc., are washed per manufacturer's guidelines. We are also minimizing person-to-person contact from check-in through departure.
Cancellation Policy: A non-refundable payment of $300 is required at the time of booking. This $300 payment is applied toward the total amount due and is only refundable within 72 hours of the time the booking is made. If your arrival date is within 30 days of booking, payment in full is required at the time of booking. Cancellations or changes that result in a shortened stay that are made within thirty (30) days of the arrival date forfeit the entire reservation amount while cancellations made more than thirty (30) days in advance of your arrival only forfeit the $300 payment made at the time of booking. For reservations at least thirty (30) nights, the cancellation policy above increases to sixty (60) days before the arrival date. We do offer travel insurance.
Please note that, like most properties in the area, this home does not have AC, as it is uncommon for homes at this elevation. Temperatures inside the property are easily managed by using fans and opening the windows at night when temperatures drop into the 40s.

Location is perfect on the Main Street so you can walk everywhere. Ouray grocery is only 3 blocks away which is great and an excellent grocery store. Restaurants are also walking distance, we even walked to the other end of Ouray easy. Hot springs is also walking distance the other direction.
The home itself is cozy and perfect. Complete with pots and pans and salt, garlic salt, and pepper and even cooking spray plus all the cleaning supplies. They have a nice coffee pot you can set the timer to go off in the morning so you can wake up to the smell of coffee. They had filters already. They have a kettle for tea drinkers. Lots of towels also. Two toilets with one beautiful and large bathtub are perfect. One room with a queen bed and another room with two full beds was perfect for me, my husband, our 24 yr old son, and my 79 yr old dad.
Shoes are not allowed inside understandably with mud or snow likely on your shoes. I recommended bringing house shoes.

This is a great place! Close to everything, when we stayed (Summer) there was parking right out front! Inside is really well done! Plenty of dish-wear and anything you would want in a kitchen. Natural light that comes thru the skylights is a great touch! Only complaint is there tea is not enough places to hang towels.(with hot prongs 2 blocks away we used it a lot!

The property was great and right on main street. The property management company kept in contact always and responded to any questions or recommendations we needed. We loved that we could walk to hot springs, restaurants and shops but only a 10-minute walk to Cascade Falls to enjoy the beauty. Ouray is a beautiful little town with much to offer and enjoyed it thoroughly. Highly recommend.

Overall we had a great stay at this property. The location on Main Street was perfectly located and within walking distance of all the sites we were interested in.The wood paneling and rustic touches were a nice addition to this property. We also loved the skylights that were built into the ceiling.Now to the feedback that I want to provide for the property.1. It would be nice to have small trash cans and tissues in each room of the house.2. The dishes and pans in the house were dirty and had to be cleaned before use.3. This was the first time we had stayed at an Airbnb or VRBO property that didn't have a washing machine and dryer. This would be a nice addition.4. Having the ability to open the windows would have been great to enjoy the fresh mountain air.Overall we enjoyed our stay!

Excellent location in Ouray, with fully stocked kitchen and multiple bathrooms. Heaters in every room with their own thermostat. Could have used a fan for a little bit of circulation in the rooms, but that's more of a preference of mine than a complaint. Beautiful stay in a beautiful area!

We had a wonderful experience at this updated listing. It was comfortable, clean, and in a great location along Main Street. The only downside was the noise from the snow plowing during the night but it would not keep us from staying again. The property manager was very responsive to any questions and lovely to work with. Conveniently located on the Main Street of Ouray. Walking the strip for shopping and dinner. This rental was perfect home base after riding the alpine loop. Single car parking on street in front of rental (don’t park near the yellow curb). Rental is close to the large trailer/rv parking lot on 9th Avenue. Rental was clean. A/C units in each room. There is another rental attached to the back.

We loved the location, and were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go in town. The layout is a little funky given the property’s past life as a store, but it is functional. Only feedback is that they were very light on towels (no bath mat and only 3 bath towels were provided, plus one hand towel for the kitchen.

This rental has a lot of positives, and a few minuses. Here's an honest review for those who like such a thing. The rental is very clean and an incredible location for accessing things in Ouray as well as a "base" for day trips. We enjoyed cooking in the kitchen that was well supplied with pans, bowls, plates, and pretty much everything you could need. We did request more dishwasher "pods" which were delivered promptly the next day. We enjoyed the table for meals, games and the TV for football for the guys. The couch and loveseat are very comfortable, and the beds were great. All in all everything was perfect, with these few exceptions: 1) Mice. I don't mind dumping a mouse trap if needed, which we did the first night there. The second night we caught two mice which led to a lot of banging of traps on the wood floor and wall until they died. Not a great big deal, but just need to know your aren't living in the city. 2) the bathtub is approximately 20" off the floor. It is not handicap accessible, or really accessible for a lot of people. It is very clean and nice, just really hard to get in and out of. The bathrooms are in the back of the rental and the bedrooms up front FYI. Again, the location is perfect. Close to the hot springs, park, downtown, etc. It's quiet at night away from the middle of downtown. The trash is located in the alley roughly a block behind the rental up a hill. Something had got into the bins the night before but not really our problem. I don't know if the unit directly attached to the back is a rental or not, but we were not bothered by noise either night. All in all this property is a really nice one, although the price in the end with all the fees (? VRBO or property owner) jacks the price up a fair bit. We would definitely stay there again. So, there you go! PS. The fall colors this year made us forget any minor inconveniences. Also, the meat/cheese shop across the street is a must.

Can’t beat the location. Property is clean and right on Main Street. The hosts were quick to respond as well. Note there may be wifi but we weren’t able to connect to the weak signal. The host said they were upgrading so maybe a temporary issue. A good chance to disconnect for a weekend.

Wonderful place to stay while visiting Ouray! Located on Main Street, you are steps away from great dining, coffee, cute local shops and the Hot Springs. Hiking trails to Cascade Falls and Box Canyon were just a short drive away.
The home had everything you needed to cook meals, and wind down and relax.
The unit does not have a washer & dryer, which was a non-issue for us - more of a heads up for others. Internet was spotty (this was consistent for most of the town), it worked best at night while in the home.

Great location and easy to walk to stores and shops in town. The rental is nice sized, and it worked well for family of four. I had to work a little while there, and I had issues with the WiFi not working. However, overall it was a good rental and we had a great time.

5 days was enough. The town is small and surrounding trails are done in a few days. 3 days would have been better but you have to spread out that cleaning fee on these vrbo rentals, right!?

If you are a family or group of friends (up to 6) this is a very nice, well equipped place, modernized but with wooden walls in a 19th century building, right in the middle of Main street. steps from groceries, liquor store, restaurants etc - a perfect complement to your Ouray trip. The mosts were responsive and there was nothing missing from this rental experience and nothing to criticize. look no further.
