About this house rental

Unit 1 is a modern and dog friendly room in one of the most sought after locations in Newport. The room boasts a queen sized bed, a pull out loveseat sofa, ample closet space, large TV, and a ensuite renovated bathroom with updated walk-in glass shower.

This property is unique in that it is a Boutique Inn, meaning you have a private bedroom and ensuite bathroom, but also have full use of a common kitchen, dining area, office, deck and living room.

A true gem in the heart of it all!

29 Pelham Street is located in one of the most sought after locations in Newport on historic Pelham St. You are a five minute walk to famous Newport landmarks such as: Bannisters & Bowens Wharf, Trinity and St. Mary's Church and The Black Pearl Restaurant. Truly, you are in the heart of it all with dozens of restaurants, shops, bars and sights right outside your door.

Hop in your car for a 10 minute drive to both the Ocean Drive and Bellevue Avenue Preservation Society Mansions.


Windward Suites properties are all keyless, and instead use keypad smart locks for all of the doors for both the buildings and units. All guests will receive an email the morning of their arrival with the instructions, codes to the doors and Wifi. Super easy!

Check-in time is anytime after 3:00 p.m. Check-out time is 11:00 a.m. Please be respectful of these times unless you have contacted us, as we have a cleaning crew who need the time to do a thorough job before and after all of our guests.

Parking is located behind the building with two spaces alongside the building as well. There is one space allocated per room.

29 Pelham Street is a truly unique property. It is modern and fully updated Boutique Inn, meaning, there are common areas which all guests have access to and can use at their leisure, including the living room, dining room, and kitchen, office, and deck.

However, it also boasts six private bedrooms, each with their own ensuite bathroom, as well as one two bedroom suite, also with an ensuite bathroom. The bedrooms and bathrooms are spacious, some coming equipped with pull out sofa beds, and the renovated bathrooms all have glass walk-in showers.

This is a dog friendly property with parking for seven cars. The entire building was recently upgraded to mini splits in each room. Cleanliness is our top priority as well as providing guests with high end linens, towels and toiletries.

The location was as perfect as you can get in Newport!! The room was small but clean and perfect for what we needed for our long weekend in Newport! Chris, the host provided some great recommendations for things to do and where to eat that was super helpful! Definitely would stay here again and recommend it!

This location is excellent to tour Newport. Everything we wanted to see was within walking distance (except the Cliff Walk lol). The house was immaculate with every convenience needed in the kitchen etc. The neighborhood was quiet and friendly. The outside sitting area was a bonus. The host was easily assessible and helpful along with responding promptly with a minor temperature control issue. I would highly recommend this vacation spot to all my friends and am looking forward to a return visit.

We fell in love with Newport! The location of this rental was perfect for walking to all nearby restaurants and shopping and beaches. Rental was clean and quiet with a comfortable bed.

The location of the home/condominium was amazing as it was close to the waterfront and area restaurants. The amenities were fantastic! The kitchen, dining room and living room areas were wonderful and we appreciated the on-site parking. Thank you for our wonderful stay at your property!

This was a wonderful place to stay for our weekend away. The place was clean and well maintained. It was well stocked with all the necessities and was in a wonderful location, downtown and close to all of the bars and restaurants while only a walking distance to the mansions. I will be highly recommending the place to all of my friends and family searching for a place in Newport and will be sure to rebook when I return!

The location was great and the room and common areas were very clean. It was convenient to have parking available so close to Thames St. and the waterfront. Would definitely stay again.
