The Space:
Escape the hustle and bustle of your everyday life this summer at our serene oasis located in South Chatham. The ideal size for a family of six, with lots of activities for kids and adults of all ages! Enjoy a lazy morning on the deck sipping on an Americano from Snowy Owl Coffee (located just a 10-minute drive away), relaxing under the sun in an Adirondack Chair, or lounging in the Hammock. In the afternoon, jump in your car and travel just five minutes to an assortment of water activities. Choose between renting a few canoes to take out on Mill Pond, hiking and fishing in the two vernal pools at Goose Pond, or swimming in the ocean at the local Forest or Cockle Cove Beaches.

On the way home, grab a bottle of Truro Vineyards white wine from the local liquor store to pair with some fresh seafood from Mac’s Chatham Fish & Lobster. Enter into our home through the great room, light and airy, with its large ceiling and panoramic view of the backyard. Gather around on the sofa or in a chair and enjoy a sunkissed happy hour-- sipping on wine, eating oysters on the half shell, and watching the sunset seep in through the windows as it melts around you into the dreamiest pink sky! Grab your glass and head further into our home to share a family Lobster dinner at the formal dining table (or eat under the stars on the deck!). Scoop up the dirty dishes and head into the light and bright kitchen (recently renovated to include a gleaming subway tile backsplash with a sea glass accent stripe, updated appliances and cabinets, and glittering coriander countertops) to wash up and load the Bosch dishwasher. Heat up a cup of tea in the kettle on the electric stove and spend a chilly spring or autumn night around the decorative fireplace in the second sitting area-- watch Shark week on the TV or huddle around the coffee table to play a classic coastal game of Go-Fish! Can’t get enough of the outdoors? Head back outside and roast s’mores around the fire pit as you create memories you’ll never forget!

At the end of the day when you're all tuckered out, retreat (beyond the kitchen) to the eastern end of the home where the three bedrooms await. The Master bedroom is at the end of the hall on the left and has a Navy and White Striped Queen bed, en suite Full bathroom, ceiling fan, and dresser for your wardrobe. Across the hall is the kid's room with two twin beds, a ceiling fan, and a large closet and dresser for unpacking and storing your luggage. Head back towards the kitchen and find the final bedroom on the same side of the house-- boasting a Queen bed, ceiling fan, large mirror (great for doing your make-up!), and dresser. Across the hall from this bedroom is a second full bathroom-- painted a calming blue and featuring a combo tub/shower that is perfect for the kid’s baths before bed.

You’ll stay chill all summer long with the Split System A/C in the Main Area (like Central A/C) and Window A/Cs in the bedrooms. Other amenities include washer/dryer, backyard, patio, outdoor shower, WiFi, cable TV, gas grill, dog friendly, and sheets and bath towels provided for each guest. Last but not least, a few other local activities you won’t want to miss include doing brunch and catching a Bi-Plane ride at Hangar-B, going back to the basics and enjoying a classic (yet drool-worthy) charcoal burger from Mom + Pops’s, or strolling Main Street Chatham and chowing down on a warm waffle cone filled with creamy homemade ice cream from Buffy’s. Beautiful home. Cleanest rental I have ever been in. Only issue was the bugs coming in the windows of the bedrooms at night. Maybe the ac units need to be better sealed? Overall we loved it and felt at home there.

Looked wonderful on listing, but in reality very disappointed in landscape and back yard. Had to have maintenance come and clean out window wells of bugs! Couldn’t open any windows and get fresh air! Bedrooms were sparse and mattresses were very hard. I slept only one night in 7.! Air conditioners in bedrooms were musty and not put in properly. I love Chatham so we will have to find a more suitable house for next summer.

We enjoyed our stay at this property and the property managers, Del Mar, were great at communicating and being responsive. As with most places, the pictures make it look much larger than it actually was. We loved spending time on the deck and around the firepit. The outside of the house is not that well kept and it only had 1 TV (would have been nice to have a second at times) but it was close some great restaurants as well as Cockle Cove beach (though we mostly went to Hardings which is just under 15 min drive) and it was not too far from the rail trail for bike riding and running. The ductless AC in the main room kept things cooler than the outside summer temps, but if you're someone who really values a strong AC then you might have some complaints. The window AC units in each bedroom worked fine.

My family and I had a PERFECT stay at this lovely house in Chatham. Good location (5 minute drive to groceries, wine and an 8 minute drive to the beach). Chatham itself is gorgeous and is perfectly located 1/2 way between Hyannis and P'town. The house itself is full of everything you will need for your stay: fully equipped kitchen with some basics (olive oil, salt pepper, sugar, etc.), Washer/dryer, soft comfortable beds, board games and cards, and a gas grill for cooking. They also had a lovely fire pit that we enjoyed on the cool Cape evenings. I was also impressed that they had nice serveware and wine glasses to make our evenings a little more elegant. We had a fantastic time and cannot wait to stay here next year!
