The Flamingo house is the perfect home-away-from-home for a quiet get away with your spouse, family or friends during your time in the Sunshine state. This beachy vibe house is just a short cruise to the waters of Tampa Bay and has everything you need for a fun and relaxing stay. This luxury three bedroom, two bath non-smoking home sleeps up to ten guests. The Master Bedroom has a King Bed, attached master bath and a patio door to the pool and hot tub. The second bedroom has a queen size bed. The third bedroom has two twins. Also included are two pull out couches for additional guests or family. Each bedroom has its own flat panel TV (Smart TV) and DVD player! There is a fully open kitchen with granite counter tops with bar stools and a great view of the water. The kitchen opens into the living area. Comfy recliners and an office, desk and printer. Kid friendly, with a pack and play, high chair, toys. This home also offers FREE wireless internet, a washer and dryer, full access to a garage, two kayaks, bicycles and more! The Flamingo house has a fabulous covered Lanai entertainment area with a patio table and 6 chairs and another sofa and chair area with outdoor tv and bluetooth speakers for you to relax and enjoy the large pool and hot tub. The propane grill will fulfill all your barbecuing needs. Lots of yard to play in. Beautiful views from the waterfront deck and dock. Watch the manatees and dolphins swim by as you enjoy your favorite beverage while admiring the best sunsets. Fish off of the dock, or just meditate and watch the water move by. Beach chairs, umbrella, cooler, fishing rods and some tackle, pool toys are included. This home is perfectly situated for all your vacation needs. Take day excursions to Disney, Universal, Busch Gardens, Clearwater Beach, Anna Maria Island, Ft. Myers, St. Pete and many beautiful golf courses. When you’re ready to get out on the water, simply stroll down to the home’s private dock with boat lift on the canal, which leads about a half mile out to Tampa Bay. Captain Billy Nobles from Reel Animals is just down the canal so you can book chartered fishing excursions with him as well! Enjoy numerous live events such as fairs, markets, festivals, or enjoy a wonderful night out at a comedy club in historic Ybor City. Nearby is Topgolf, iFLY, Dave & Busters or get in a little shopping at Ellenton Premium Outlets and Westfield Brandon mall. Plenty of wonderful entertainment and dining for everyone! We loved our stay here! We have 4 kids between the ages 7-12 and they had so much to do! We loved fishing in the mornings, swimming during the days and hot tubbing and fishing again in the evenings! Full stocked kitchen, bedrooms & bathrooms. The garage was full of more fun things to do! This place was absolutely perfect for our Spring Break! Wish we had another day or 2 to enjoy it even more!

We were a group of 5 adults vacationing together for the first time at a vacation rental home. Three adults were from Minnesota, and my husband and I were from NW Ontario, Canada.
This was the first vacation my husband and I have taken in 4 years due to medical issues and the infamous Covid, and believe me, we were so ready to get away...and The Flamingo House was absolutely the BEST get-away we could have asked for.
The house was immaculate as were the bathrooms and common areas; linens and towels super wonderful, and the kitchen very well equipped.
We were blessed with wonderful weather so use of the pool and outdoor areas were just beyond wonderful. The deck outside the pool area was so peaceful, relaxing, and calming - a wonderful way to start the day.
While we had no young children, the Flamingo House is extremely well-equipped to handle babies/toddlers/young children.
Amy, the hostess, was very quick to reply to our questions - very pleasant, friendly, and accommodating. Out stay was beyond wonderful as we could fully relax and enjoy our time at The Flamingo House. We highly recommend The Flamingo House.

We came to the area to visit family and take me back to places I've lived before. The house didn't disappoint in any way. We fished off the dock, laid in the hot tub... a lot. The area was amazing, quiet and relaxing. I look forward to staying again for our next family visit.

We were in town for my son’s senior trip and stayed at Amy’s home. I cannot say enough about how amazing her place is. It’s basically the same as a resort! I so wish that VRBO’s had been around when our son was much younger! We don’t have little ones anymore, sadly, but Amy’s house has EVERYTHING! Not to mention how clean it was, super well stocked, the pool was beautiful, as well as the deck and all the amenities. Amy was a great host and extremely communicative and helpful!

This property is exactly what it claims to be. The details and unique characteristics of the home are exceptional. All utilities, facilities and appliances are top notch. Many, many extras for families. The outside/decks/porch/pools are like new. Excellent maintenance on pool and hot tub. We just showed up and enjoyed.

We had a great experience at this VRBO rental and it had absolutely everything we needed to make it a great vacation! The house was stocked with all necessities plus the amenities to help us explore the area by water or road/trail and even a day trip to the beach. The owner was so responsive and helpful, even had a book full of restaurants and things to do nearby. We would come back in a heartbeat!

Everything about our trip was great. Great communication, easy check-in, great accomodations and all the little things that make a house a home. Outdoor pool area/dock/deck was awesome. Great wildlife at the house, quiet neighborhood, would definitely stay again!

Great place to hang out all day. Pool, hot tub, great deck on the water with porpoises and manatees swimming by. Quiet area, not touristy. Awesome kayaking location close to bay a lot of wildlife! Amy was very attentive to all questions. House had everything needed for all ages.

After a long travel baseball season, it was nice to unwind at the Flamingo at Apollo Beach. This house was just what my wife and I wanted for a week of vacation in July… close enough to restaurants, Disney and water w/ enough activities to keep our boys entertained. We spent our days poolside, kayaking, fishing in the canal, and at night, dining out and lounging in the hot tub under the stars! So relaxing! Our host was easy to reach and thorough w/ details. Exactly what this family likes!

Absolutely perfect

The grill was well kept and a very nice addition for a stay-at-home meal. The area had several restaurants within 10-15 minutes, to support both breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
Communications with Amy were great, and she provided all the information we could need to get into the house, and help us enjoy our stay. I give this property 5*, and recommend to anyone looking for a residential oasis in the Apollo Beach/Tampa area!

Beautiful canal side vacation home
Beautiful vacation home in Apollo Beach. This home is very clean. The home has everything you could possibly need for a wonderful vacation. It is on a canal with a deck overlooking the water. The pool and hot tub with multiple areas of seating are enclosed. Great area for a relaxing breakfast watching the birds flying overhead. As well as great table for playing games and cards. The house is very close to the Apollo beach Nature preserve and Big Bend Manatee Viewing Center. Such a great place for wonderful vacation!

Amazing getaway!
I never write reviews, but this vacation was so great, I feel it’s necessary to give my review! The house was stocked with anything you could possibly need for vacation. The house was updated, modern, and spotless. The pool area was perfect for all day swimming with the kids. Having the canal behind the house was awesome for kayak rides, fishing, and watching the gorgeous Florida sunsets. We also visited the beach during the week (5 min drive). The homeowners were extremely attentive, checked in with us, made sure we had everything we needed and that we were enjoying ourselves. It was the perfect spot for a family vacation. We will DEFINITELY return within the next few months. This house was exactly what we needed to recharge!

Home Away From Home!
The property was more than we could imagine. It had a little bit for everyone. Quiet neighborhood, park near by, not to mention the pool, hot tub and canal. How was large enough for everyone to have their own space. Location was amazing. Amy was fantastic to work with and quick to respond. We will definitely be back! Great house for our family and friends!
My wife and I, and our kids who are 20, 17 & 13, our friends and their 3 year old all stayed here and there was something for everyone. We enjoyed the heated pool and hot tub, kayaks, fishing off the dock, relaxing on the deck and just hanging out. There were also some toys in the closet for the 3 year old that were a bonus! There are plenty of great restaurants in the area and we had about a 45 minute drive to Anna Maria Island beach one day and about the same to St Pete Beach another day. We also found a quiet little beach on the Bay in Little Harbor that was very nice and only about 15 minutes away. Amy was super helpful and were very easy to communicate with about anything we needed and the check in and out process was extremely easy. The neighborhood has a friendly feel to it and it was easy to take walks and bike rides. There was pretty much anything you need in the house, but if you did need something, stores were within a mile or two. I would definitely recommend this house for a family or group of friends looking for a getaway.

Amazing vacation!
This home had everything we could have possibly needed! We were surprised to see some lovely updates which made the home even better than the photos online. It was a little cooler than we thought it would be when we arrived so the hot tub was very nice to have. Fishing was great off of the dock. Caught lots of catfish! The kayaks and bikes were a nice touch that we really enjoyed as well. Super close to grocery’s stores and bait shops. The owner was very accommodating and excellent to deal with. We would definitely book this home again when we return to the area.

Best Vacation Ever
We all absolutely loved Ms. Kristi and her Husband, they were perfect hosts. Very attentive, kind and caring people. Their home was wonderfully maintained and still undergoing renovations which did not effect our trip at all. The deck near the water was absolutely gorgeous, we all loved the pool & jacuzzi. We were looking for a nice relaxing time and we got just that. It was a very stress free well laid out home and we will be back on our next Florida vacation!

Fabulous Property
I was looking for a house to just relax and enjoy the company of family. This property did not disappoint! We rarely left the house during our three night stay, there was so much to do at this home away from home. We swam, drank coffee on the deck, had drinks by the pool watching an outdoor tv, fished off the dock and played games in the dining room. This house had everything we needed and more. We will definitely be back and hopefully for at least a week next time!
