Wonderful!

Exceptional warm, welcoming, friendly, and helpful staff. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The location was convenient with easy access to the water front, train and boat services and the old town district.

Delizioso fronte-mare a Rapallo

La posizione, la struttura, l'accoglienza cordiale, l'acqua in camera e offerta anche alla partenza, ma soprattutto l'aperitivo trovato nella hall con pezzi di focaccia e succo di frutta: che pensiero gentile! Letto comodissimo, lavandino un po' piccolo.

Abbiamo segnalato che le prese non hanno funzionato perfettamente nella ricarica dei cellulari.

Hôtel fabuleux à recommander sans hésitation

L’accueil et la gentillesse du personnel, emplacement idéal en bord de mer avec parking privatif. Un excellent petit déjeuner copieux. L’apéritif offert le soir lors de notre arrivée, un attention trop rare.

Chambres mal insonorisées, on a entendu les voisins s’amuser le soir venu…

Empfehlenswertes kleines stilvolles Hotel direkt am Strand und der Peripherie der Altstadt.

Es war grosser Markt und die Zufahrt zum Hotel versperrt. Leider wurde das im Vorfeld nicht kommuniziert. Aber die Receptionistin hat unseren Ärger sehr gut abgefangen und alle waren sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die Einlandung zum kostenlosen Aperitiv liess uns den ersten Ärger schnell verschwinden. Die Lage des Hotels ist perfekt, gerade an der Peripherie der Altstadt. Zimmer mit Meerblick, wunderbar! - Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis war jetzt im Winter ausgezeichnet, eher sehr günstig, da wir noch das Frühstück inklusive hatten.

Wie schon in der Laudatio erwähnt, war der Zimmerpreis wirklich günstig und wenn auch das Frühstück etwas "schmal" ausgefallen ist, hat uns der Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel sehr sehr gefallen.

Amazing trip tp Rapallo

Location was excellent. Staff were amazing to deal with. The property was in a very good condition. The room was clean and had everything that I've needed. The WIFI was very strong and overall, the whole stay was memorable.

Hotel Astoria in Rapallo is fantastic!

When we arrived we were greeted by a very helpful host who guided us to the parking place in front of the hotel. The host took extra care to see that we had a smooth check in. He also gave use a lot of useful information regarding food and things to do. We booked a room with a balcony and view of the sea and it was wonderful. In addition to this, the room had double doors that opened to a rooftop terrace with table and chairs. What a great bonus! We had coffee there in the morning and wine in the evening. The breakfast was wonderful. The entire staff was friendly and helpful. We will always remember our wonderful stay in Rapallo at Hotel Astoria.

A great base in Rapallo for exploring the Ligurian coast…..either by car or boat. it’s all beautiful.

Ideal location, with great staff, to discover the Portofino Peninsula

We loved this hotel: ideal to discover the Portofino Peninsula (and actually a much better option than staying in Portofino). The staff is wonderful: Elina (nice Ukrainian lady) at the reception and Michela for breakfast make you feel like you are a very special guest. They are helpful, friendly and service-minded. The hotel is conveniently located close to the Rapallo railway station, in front the the beach / seashore, and is an ideal base to walk / drive / take a bus to Portofino and to trail across the Peninsula (highly recommended).

Lovely old mansion renovated on the seafront

Lovely old mansion house right on the seafront. Renovated to a high standard. Our room (104) looked out over the sea and had a huge terrace to the side. The bathroom was spotless with a good power shower. Parking was agreed in advance for a nightly fee of €20. The breakfast in the dining room was plentiful and there was even a bottle of bubbles for those who fancied a Bucks Fizz! The staff were all polite and friendly. A lovely hotel for our final night in Italy.

We didn't like the fact that it was our last night! Everything else was excellent! I forgot to mention there was a spa available and you could hire out various vehicles and organise day trips if you wanted but we were only in transit back home so we couldn't enjoy any of these extra facilities.

The staff were excellent. Friendly, helpful and warm. The room was very clean, breakfast was great and the location is excellent. Rapallo is quiet enough and a great pivot point for the Liguria area. We will certainly rebook when we return. Gratzie Mille!

A somewhat average hotel which was expensive

The location was excellent and the staff were really lovely and very helpful. There was also a really good breakfast.

overall we enjoyed our stay but having just been to Rome where we stayed in a fabulous hotel for half the price we thought this hotel was overpriced. More electric sockets needed, we have two phones, two watches and two tablets between us - charging them was difficult. No milk in the room for coffee and a coffee machine in a hotel with these rates should be standard. The room was very average although the view was fantastic but no balcony meant we couldn’t enjoy it as much as we would have liked. A bit of attention to detail would have meant we would have rated this higher.

excellent stay and unforgettable experience in rapallo thanks to this hotel and its amazingits amazing staff.

excellent location. great staff especially Sara, Gabriel, Paulo and the the other nice lady (blond and tall) whose name we can’t remember (sorry!!).. all the staff was so nice and so accommodating and made our stay memorable. we will certainly come back again and stay at the hotel Astoria for our next trip.
