About this house rental

Be one of the first to stay in this recently, beautifully furnished 3 bedroom renovated Victorian property, sleeps up to 5-6 persons . The house has been designed with great attention to detail and a high standard of workmanship with designer wallpaper on feature walls, Farrow and Ball paints, Neff appliances and Grohe sanitary ware. Allowing its tenants to enjoy a wonderful, convenient and cozy stay, with an extra feel of luxury.
We can if requested and agreed offer an addiional put up / fold out bed to accomodate 1 extra person or offer flexibility with your sleeping arrangments . An additional charge - fee shall be advised …. Please ask and confirm if this is a request and intention .
If you like designer furniture and want home from home this property will not disappoint. And give a boutique like feel . All furniture (Laing and Eimil/Eichholtz), beds, mattresses (Dormeo) and soft furnishings are brand new. An excellent and comfortable base for family and friends to explore London as London Bridge being a 15 minute train ride away where you can visit the Shard, famous Borough Market and Southwark Cathedral and many other central London attractions, or just use as a place to just chill out.

Be close to some of the most exciting creative areas in London, such as Greenwich Palaces, Thames River , The Royal Observatory, Maritime Museum, Greenwich Park, Thames Clipper boat trips, Markets and O2 Arena are 3.8 miles and a short bus journey away. The bus stop is 100m .. a two minute walk from the property with several buses serving to reach various destinations .

If you are planning on seeing the sights of Central London, being south of the river Thames you are perfectly placed to visit the Southbank area and all it has to offer; London Eye, Big Ben, Houses of Parliament, Trafalgar Square, Portrait Gallery, National Gallery, Covent Garden and theatres are only 8 miles and 22 mins train journey. The nearest railway station is Catford Bridge and Catford Main line stations with also Hither Green station a third option all aproximatley 8 minutes walk or 3 mins by bus), trains go to Central London Mainline stations, London Bridge, Charing Cross, Blackfriars, Victoria and Waterloo. St Pancras Eurostar station is served by the local mainline station at Catford as is Ebbsfleet International Station for Eurostar or 40 minutes journey time by car- taxi.

For corporate users we are within easy reach of the City and Docklands, Canary wharf , London Bridge is only 22 minutes away by train and Lewisham Station is 15 minutes away with its connection to the Docklands Light Railway (DLR) and Canary Wharf. London City Airport can be reached by taxi in 25 minutes.

The sleeping arrangements would suit and can accommodate 3 x couples in 2 x king size beds and 1 x. double. All 3 bedrooms are decorated with bespoke furnishings. There is a separate lounge and dining room, the kitchen is fully equipped with electric appliances such as oven, hob, fridge, washing machine, plus all the kitchenware ready to prepare your first meal.
In the decked garden there is a BBQ to use along with outside furniture. If you have a car there is free off street parking suitable for 1 cars and street parking. Two minutes walk in the next road is a general food mart store and small Co-op supermarket for any food shopping you may require, along with coffee shops, takeaway restaurants and hair and beauty salon.

Checkout 11am Please ask if you wish to check in early and we will do our best to accommodate, dependent on bookings the night before . A small premium-may be chargeable dependent on how early check in is required , likewise late checkout can be discussed and considered.

This is a very spacious house. The photos accurately show the house. It’s very organized and spacious. The owners are very helpful and accommodating. It is close to a bus stop and grocery store. Be careful in the area, as someone tried to steal my mobile phone while I was standing on the corner. The owner’s suggested that the windows in the house on the first floor be kept closed for security. We had a communication issue a few days prior to our trip when I couldn’t reach the owner. Eventually, we connected on another platform. The owners have dogs, so be mindful if you’re allergic to dog hair. If you’re looking for a stay in a suburb of London within walking distance of parks, bus, trains and groceries, this will do nicely.

Lovely home

Lovely home

This home is beautifully appointed and up to date. The hosts met us on our arrival (despite a late evening arrival time) and were very gracious and helpful. Make sure you have a clear understanding of the host’s expectations in terms of the number of people in your party, as they have a strong preference that the house not be crowded. With that in mind I can highly recommend this house.
