We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Although the building is older, the room was very clean and smelled fresh (many older buildings have an unpleasant "old" smell). It was a spacious room, with a table and two chairs. The bathroom was the largest of any lodging we'd stayed in on this road trip. We also enjoyed having two chairs and small table outside on the upper deck to sit on in the evening. We appreciated that the owner permitted us to make a last-minute change to our reservation without a fee. We found that to be very thoughtful. It meant a lot to us.

Due to the size of the bathroom, it could easily have a small table inside it in order to set things on since there is very little counter space around the sink.

I was pleased. There was easy access with little traffic. I would stay there next year.

Key entrance is by a touchpad lock. They sent me the combination in advance, so all I had to do was enter it and I was in. I did no check-in. Note: the door does not lock itself! I liked the refrigerator with a good freezer on top. He beds had different hardness, so I had choice.

No hair dryer or iron. The soap holder in the shower holds water, so the soap is gooey the next day (Enlarge the drain holes, please).

good and basic place for basecamp in Silverton. responsive owner.

owner was nearby and available by phone or text. he brought extra blankets and was very nice. memory foam mattresses were great.

found some hairs on the bed. initial communication was spotty but was easily solved.

Overall, not bad, but for the price that we paid, I expected a better experience.

Clean, large room. What I would expect for an old, renovated motel. Beds were comfortable, linen /towels were clean. Good location.

No light blocking curtains on front window. No working lock on bathroom window. Noisy dogs in room above ours. In fairness, the host did adress the dog situation when I made him aware of it. I didn't bring up the curtains or lock, as those couldn't have been fixed during our one night stay.

Charming bed and breakfast in the heart of charming Silverton

We were upgraded because a family without a home needed a room. The upgrade was a delightful stay at the bed and breakfast Villadallavalle a historic hotel. It was charming. The breakfast was outstanding and we will most definitely be staying here again when we are in Silverton. Charming, absolutely charming!

The dogs in the eating area. We could have done without dogs in the eating area.

It was fairly quiet, memory foam mattresses were good. Hot water!!

You can smell the old cigarette smoke lingering. I'm allergic, so my allergies kicked into full gear and it was hard to sleep. There was a dirty towel on the back of the bathroom door. The roku TV didn't really have any standard channels or instructions. And time of year, most businesses closed. Overpriced for what's offered here.

it is nice to just stay over night and roam around the places

it is near to high way to Ouray and easy to visit the places near by.

i already complained to them that whatever in side in fridge or coffee pot were not taken out and cleaned.

Loved the town of Silverton and room location was perfect.

room was very clean and the location was great! Had plenty of bath linens for our stay; room was very comfortable. would definitely stay again!

They sent us a message one day before that our room with AC is unavailable (we booked long time before going there), so they will send us to different location (we were terrified because you dont know where your exactly going), thankfully room they gave us instead was nice (but without ac).

Disappointing.

Got a decent room during a busy time period.

There could have been someone to contact about the television. Don't know if it was a combination of difficult tv and remote or just remote that had some buttons that didn't work but it was very frustrating. Plus someone else was aggressive towards us about parking. We were parked clear out by ditch and she still wasn't happy. Carpet needed repair before someone trips. Stayed there before & didn't have these issues.

Comfortable hotel

Room was very clean and beds were comfortable. We had what we needed.

No breakfast, but store was next door. We were on the bottom floor with limited view. Upper views might have been nicer.

It was reasonably priced with comfortable beds.

The beds were really comfortable.

Staff was nonexistent. We stayed two nights and did not receive any clean washcloths/towels or coffee for the room. There was no one ever in the office to inquire.

Worked for our ski vacation

Affordable place to stay to ski Silverton.

Heater knob was broken. Only gave us 1 roll of TP for a 5 day stay. Some of the window blinds were missing.
