Best place we stayed at during our Greek holiday.

This is one of the best looking boutique hotels I have been to. They went above and beyond to accommodate us when we had to extend our stay due to circumstance beyond our control. Their service is exceptional. The beds and linens were the best we had in our Greek holiday. Their a la carte complimentary breakfast was amazing, everything fresh and homemade. They have a great selection of wines and spa services. Akra is a true place to relax and recharge. By far the best place we stayed during our time in Greece. The staff was very well trained in hospitality and fluent in English. The location was convenient for hiking and walking to Thira and had a lovely view of the caldera. I would give them an award of excellence!

Sensational!

This place was so picturesque! Amazing views from both our balcony and the pool. The room was clean and modern, and the staff were fantastic! Definitely staying here again on our return to Santorini!

Beautiful hotel, very welcoming and friendly staff (with good suggestions), hotel restaurant was really tasty, the room was really nice with special attention from the team for our arrival

One tiny "issue" we had was that because of the very windy weather the outside doors of the hotel were banging quite loudly during the night. It might be useful to find a way to block the hook to avoid the sound.

Not enough sunbeds, the bathroom should be tiled, the painted bathroom is hard to clean and looks nasty. Say they have cleaning 2x a day but second time they just leave new towels

Perfect honeymoon

The hotel was stunning. The view is perfect and the location is as well. It’s in imerovigli which is a bit quiet, but there are still plenty of restaurants and the view is stunning! It was a great location since Fira and Oia are both overwhelmingly busy. Fira was a 20 min walk away so that was perfect for going for dinner. Oia was further and the taxis are about 40 euro each way to get there, so we combined it with a sailing trip to get maximum value out of the journey. The hotel staff were great. Very friendly and had lots of great recommendations. Breakfast was included and was delicious - it is all a la carte but you can order as much as you’d like. The island doesn’t have safe drinking water but the hotel provided unlimited bottled water in the room. They also provide pool towels and robes in the room. I cannot recommend this hotel enough - it was a fantastic stay. Even on our checkout day they let us use showers in the late afternoon before our flight (it was very hot during our visit so this was appreciated).

Suite, property, view was perfect 👌

Delicious and abundant

The female front desk clerk with the red hair was not very welcoming, receptive nor friendly. Everyone else from the first female front desk clerk with blonde hair was super inviting, welcoming, helpful and very sweet. As well as the male bell hop who helped us with our luggage and always had a smile. The housekeeper was also sweet and kind. As well as the staff at the restaurant. Everyone welcomed us with open arms except that one clerk with red hair.

Can't wait to go back one day.

The Akra Suites hotel is very well located, and it has an amazing view over Santorini's caldera. The facilities are quite new and very well maintained. The hotel restaurant has a wonderful view that you can enjoy every morning while having breakfast (or at any other meal of the day). The staff is very friendly and the front desk will organize any day trips or book you an ATV (Quad Bike) in case of need.

Even though we were told that a 7-day stay is quite long, it felt too short! The breakfast was very good and it was a la carte, but if I had to point out something I would probably like to see a bit more food variety.

Amazing breakfast with a beautiful view! The hotel is beautiful and located perfectly - nice and quiet but close enough to walk into Fira.

Would not return

Room not soundproofed, could hear gates banging, lots of noise from floor above constantly that we got no sleep. Outdoor hot tub area was dirty, stains on towels and bathrobes. Expected a lot more for the money. There are only 4 sun beds around the pool which isn’t enough for amount of guests. Staff did not try to resolve noise problem when raised multiple times so we decided to move hotel after 1 night.

Amazing

We got the best service from the hotel, from carrying bags to room, organising quad hire, organising taxis and recommending dinner reservations. Breakfast amazing and they encouraged to try different things. The location is the best in imerovigli quieter to oia and thira and just as much to do with loads of restaurants and bars. The staff are so friendly and will do anything to to make your stay more comfortable.

I know its outside and different laws but didnt like other guests Smoking at breakfast

I would definitely stay here again because it was amazing

I loved everything about the property it is truly an amazing experience. This property is also right next to the city of.fira it’s about a 20 minute walk 5 to 8 minute drive. It’s super easy to get around and this property is right on the water so you have beautiful views and a beautiful place to stay.

Akra suites are perfection !

the location is perfect. the staff were amazing - nothing too much trouble. your stay is very important to them. the rooms are beautiful with a fantastic view of the caldera but walking distance to both Fira and Oia . The pool is gorgeous with a view of the caldera. the breakfast menu is incredible- so much to choose from whilst you look out at the caldera . This place could not do anything better ! I would not stay anywhere else !

I upgraded my room, thinking I would get a all over better room, but the private pool had no sun during the day and the view was to electricity cables and the back side of the island.

View, location, price, room

TV needs Apps to watch Netflix, YouTube or something other than just news. The beds are super uncomfortable. The Greek salad has no seasoning at all.

Amazing hotel

Can't fault akra suites. All was excellent from breakfast (Helen) to all the staff. Great location, 20 mins walk to fira, and views from the hotel are great. The hot tub is a must :)

amazing location. friendly staff. superb breakfast. not a lot of privacy especially if you have an outdoor hot tub with

location was incredible sunset facing side close enough to the city but far enough to not be disturbed by the noise and lights

could give pre warnings that the rooms are located behind the street so a lot of people can view into the property. luckily they have the stickers on the windows that reflects so people can’t look into the room. can imagine that this wouldn’t be as pleasant during peak season though.
