Looking for the right water front home on Cedar Creek Lake for a family trip? This 4/2 Waterfront + Deck Dock is the perfect layout for multiple families.

One hour from downtown Dallas. This completely remodeled home is surrounded by mature trees. The house is on a protected cove right off the main body of the lake. (Best tubing, skiing water run on the lake)

You’ll have access to games, kayaks, paddleboats, hammock, floats, water toys, Fishing gear, had grill, wood fire pit, corn hole +more!

The space

The master suite is downstairs, along with a second bedroom.

The great downstairs room has a wood-burning fireplace and wall of windows overlooking the lake, with double French doors opening onto the covered patio. ( open the doors altogether and let the fantastic lake breeze flow throughout the house)

The upstairs guest room has a covered porch with views of the lake in three directions.

There is also a very large second bedroom upstairs that could double as a game room. Remodeled kitchen features granite countertops and a large island. Remodeled bathrooms have granite counters and vessel sinks

This is a special part of the lake because you can enjoy swimming/ relaxing in a protected cove (not slammed around by wide open waters). Want more adventure? We’re located at the best water skiing/tubing run in the whole lake!

The kitchen is stocked with everything you’ll need, from grilling to hosting a meal—kitchen Aid mixer, pots, pans, baking pans, etc.

Margarita machine and Pebble ice maker (sonic ice) is also available.

Buffalo (mascot) will be there to greet you! He’s a nod to our second favorite vacation destination on Catalina Island!

The official libation of Buffalo inn is the Pain Killer! A playful nod to Soggy Dollar Bar BVI) Ingredients and supplies (directly imported from BVI) are included in the recipe in the bar area. Pain Killer is best enjoyed at the top of the dock or on the porch. You’ll probably have more than one just because you’re on vacation + we have a margarita machine, Sonic Ice Maker, electric martini shaker, wine fridge, and wine chiller available for your use.

Fishing Tales start here: Cedar Creek Lake many coves that offer an incredible array of fishing habitats, plus we can arrange for a guided fishing adventure. Predominant fish species of Cedar Creek Lake are blue catfish, channel catfish, flathead catfish, largemouth bass, white bass, hybrid striped bass, and crappie

Working on your golf swig? Pinnacle golf course is just a 7-mile drive.

Have a boat? Fantastic! The landing is 1 block over; rocks throw from our house. Plus, we have a dock with a boat lift available.

Need extra space to celebrate a birthday party or rest in a park? I got you covered! There’s a cute little circle park 10 steps from the house.

Bringing the kiddos? No problem - I have a 4moms pack n play, high chair, two lobster high chairs that fit on the island, bumbo floor seat, suction plates plus blankets ( I have two kiddos myself, 2.5 and newborn)

I’m a clean freak/linen snob! This is my personal family lake house, so rest assured you’ll find that we have amazing clean beds, LUXURY linens, soft towels, fresh pillows replaced often. Hyper allergic covers on all beds and pillows. Plus, a fantastic housekeeper that would rival the Waldorf or Four Seasons staff.

Kick-off those shoes; no need to tiptoe around the Inn is immaculate. Lastly, leave those blow dryers at home (I have a Dyson hairdryer available for your use), extra disposable razors, luxury soap, and shampoo!

Just pack a bathing suit, some shorts, flip flops, and head on out!

Spent the week of the solar eclipse here. The home was as described and as expected by the photos. It's very cozy and quiet. Viewing the eclipse from the raised deck was absolutely amazing. Would stay here again definitely.

Even though it was extremely cold outside, the view and fireplace made everything inside that much more cozy! We ended up in bad weather, and without a problem were able to stay an extra night! Amazing host who offered free fire wood to make sure we were comfortable during the freeze. Beds were comfortable, plenty of room for our big family, and such a cozy feel. Loved the whole experience!

Our family decided we needed something different this year for Thanksgiving and Buffalo Inn was just what we needed! The kitchen was well equipped for us to prepare a Thanksgiving meal with all the trimmings. We loved all the furnishings and the linens were nice quality. We would book again!

We had the most pleasant time. Property provided us with everything we needed and then some. Beautiful home, clean, wonderful view, beds were so comfortable, place stayed cool during this hot Texas weather and we loved it so much we stayed an extra night. My family and I will definitely be back!! This place is 5 stars!!! Thank you for sharing your home with us!

Even with the lake being low, the stay was great! Clean, well organized, spacious house for the weekend getaway! We grilled out hamburgers, made homemade ice cream, and threw some cornhole bags! The house is amazing and spacious! Wonderful stay!

Very nice and quite neighborhood. We loved the double decker dock. House is well supplied. Great for small kids. The only negative is you could not see lake from porch. Wood in the way. Bad location for wood. Lake was always calm, great for swimming or kayaking. We did enjoy this house and our time with family.

This lake house is perfect for multiple families or groups of adults to enjoy some time on the lake! The host is generous and responsive, the property is in great condition, and the amenities make it so easy to feel at home, even with younger children! You can tell the host Danelle takes pride in making sure her visitors have a great vacation! The instructions provided are thorough and make kicking off your time away very relaxing. The swimming area by the beautiful dock was by and far the kid’s favorite activity and the lake bottom is shallow enough kids can swim safely while adults venture out deeper. I can’t thank Danelle enough for facilitating such a wonderful trip full of memories for our family. We are already talking about next year!

We booked the house for our family to celebrate my mom's 70th birthday. The kids loved the water and the older adults loved the view. The house was perfect for us and had everything we needed to have a fantastic time. Will definitely try and come back again.

There is nothing not to love about this property. The owners have thought of everything! The house is perfectly decorated, comfy beds, stocked kitchen, Dyson air purifying fans in every room, outdoor games, fire pit etc... Our family had an amazing Easter Weekend. Thank you!

A great place for a getaway. Four bedrooms. Easily sleeps three couples and four kids. Has outdoor Jenga, cornhole and a big grassy backyard. Water level was very low due to drought. Kitchen is great for entertaining. Comfortable beds. Nice neighborhood. Would love to return!

The property was nice, very clean, had comfortable beds, and it was a good location in a neighborhood with a lot of nice houses and yards. Very nice neighbors. This host had every creature comfort covered. We played cornhole for hours and enjoyed all the games. They have several ways to stay cool outside. The lake level is about 5ft low right now, but there was still water in the cove and we got creative and decided to save clams.

We had a great time staying at this lake house! The host was so great to work with and the house worked perfect for our group. We loved spending time swimming and kayaking on the lake. We also loved the outdoor space for relaxing in the evening and playing games as a family. This house was a perfect place to have a family vacation on the lake!

We had a wonderful time at Kelly’s property for a friends reunion. Kelly was super responsive and had everything you could think of. The house was a great location and stocked very well! One thing I would recommend would actually be to pair down some of the things she had as there was so many options (mainly kitchen items) it was hard to find what we actually needed. We missed the lily pad but perhaps we didn’t look in the right place or someone might have taken it which is no fault of the owners. Overall we would stay here again and enjoyed our time very much!

We had two couples and five kids aged 8 to 5 months. House was very clean, well stocked with essentials, had a great lawn for the kids and easy access on and off the dock to swim. The deck on top of the dock was perfect for a nightcap after the kids were down. Host was incredibly helpful and responsive. Even had treats and slippers to welcome us. House isn’t big, but it was all we needed. If you can fit in Queen beds, give this great house a try

We could not have been happier with our stay at Kelly's lake house. The excellent experience started even before we arrived. Kelly was proactive in contacting us before we arrived and went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed. The property was exactly as pictured and described. Kelly had set out an array of snacks that my kids quickly saw and devoured. The whole place was spotless and the beds were super comfy. The best part was all of the extras though. Kelly left the key to the shed that had kayaks and other floats. There is a hammock in the yard for relaxing under a giant shade tree and a fire pit where we made smores one night. We brought our boat and the dock and boat lift made life so much easier. We had no issues during our stay but did have a few questions. Kelly was very quick to respond. We will certainly be booking here again when we come back to Cedar Creek.

We felt right at home from the moment we walked in the door. The house is beautifully decorated and very clean. The beds were super comfortable with the softest linens. We spent most of our time on the dock and patio just taking in the views and fishing. Kelly is an exceptional host who goes above and beyond ensure her guests are comfortable - she even left dog bowls and a leash out for our pup! We will be back!

We loved staying at Kelly’s immaculate lake home. The beds and bedding were incredible, we had everything we needed and more for our group that spanned ages 8-76! The yard and lake access were fantastic and the big covered patio became one of our favorite spots—we ate there, played board games, hung out watching the water and chatting. We would definitely stay here again!
