Quick little getaway for our 29th year anniversary!! We enjoyed our stay. Very peaceful. We just had a place to sleep. The bed is supper comfortable. We didn’t cooked. But maybe if we would have stayed longer we would have gone grocery shopping. Would I stay there again. Yes I would. Enjoyed watching the sunrise, and sitting out on dock.

We enjoyed our stay in the Shrimp room. It’s nothing fancy but clean, well cared for and exactly how described. Proximity to the water and the ease of getting our boat in and out was the selling point for us. We caught 3 big red fish and a handful of others. A/C was cold and tv worked fine. Goodrich’s Seafood was pretty good, don’t waste your time at Elliot’s. We’d definitely stay again!

Host does not return phone calls or texts, we were there for 1 week. She was no where to be found. We were overcharged, we were quoted in canadian dollars, our bill was for that total but in $ US Automatic Icecube maker is an icecube tray. The kitchen trash can came with 2 bags (that didn’t fit) it was split down the side. We ended up buying our own. You’ll need to buy your own toilet paper as well. Host left us 1 spare. Floors were so dirty, I had to wash them myself. We drove 15 to do our laundry because on site facility could not be found. There is no storage (no closet or dresser for your clothes) Toilet does not flush. However, The view was awesome, we had dolphins every night around 6 pm. I felt very safe there.
I had high expectations for this place and was excited to stay here. Things could have been better, if the host was attentive.

Christine was an amazing host. Great communication from calling while we were on our way down, to checking on us while we were there to make sure we had everything. Place was 5 steps to the water with lots of local places you can walk to and explore. Was peaceful at night sitting outside on the water. We enjoyed every minute and will be returning again!

Waves lap near your door. Saw seven dolphins in a group one day right off the deck, and dolphins every day. Gorgeous moon rises and soft sunsets. Very quiet nautical relaxed area.

Stayed for a week in the Shrimp room. The boat ramp is a great feature making it easy to launch your boat right next to your room. With the dock just steps away from your room door it’s so convenient to hit the waters. The room itself was clean and cozy. It has everything you need for a comfortable stay. We will definitely be back for another amazing trip!

Tiny space, perfect for two people that like each other!
The "cabin" was well equipped, beautifully decorated and the bed was comfy enough.
Open the door and you're a few feet from the water. Don't miss the sunrises...our first morning there was spectacular. The cute comfy chairs out front was the perfect spot to have our morning coffee. You can see dolphins and manatees swimming out in the lagoon. One morning there was a manatee right by the dock..steps from the front door! The place was quiet, and very relaxing.
We used the grill..and it worked great.
There is a great seafood restaurant walking distance down the road as well as a cute waterfront picnic area.
Good communication from owner, and she was very nice.
We will be back..with our boat, as soon as we can.
Fyi, There is no pool or hot tub, the noseeums were brutal, be prepared. We expected them...being by the water and all. Also, there was no sign by the door that indicated it was the Shrimp room.

It was a little smaller than we thought but it worked out perfect for my husband and I. Very clean inside the air unit definitely kept us comfortable in there which was a plus!! What we would love most is that it was quite and away from everything!!

Loved our stay in the shrimp room. Clean and cozy. The room is small but has everything you need. One step out the door and you are on the dock. Amazing sunrise views. Loved watching the birds and dolphins swim around. Christine the manager was friendly and fast to respond to any questions I had. Already have plans to return. 😊

Too Small
This is not a one bedroom but a small studio. The bed fills the majority of the space, and is so tight the edge of the bed is a trip hazard. Very clean. Location is nice and right on the water’s edge. The owners never answered my initial note. At about 10 PM there was a knock on the door from someone claiming they had a reservation for this room. The owners were not responding to him.

Stunning view
My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the shrimp cabin. The view from the door is breathtaking. It was very clean and had everything we needed. We highly recommend staying here and hope to book again someday soon.

Everything you need!!
I hesitate to write this great review in fear we won’t get to stay there again .. that’s why we booked 2 more stays before we even left the property. Super friendly people, great food very close, beautiful view! We wished we had booked a couple extra days on this trip.

Great Value
This property is on a great setting with docks and the ability to launch a small boat. There was room to park my 24 foot trailer which is a major hassle and cost most places. I did not look close enough at description but it is very small with basically a table and 2 chairs, a comfy bed and bathroom. The good thing is outside there are nice chairs to view the water which counts as a living room in my book.

The property is owned by a couple that also own the RV park next door and the shop on the corner of the main road. Communication was poor and they are fairly nonresponsive. When I tried to check-in they had decided to put me in another room but gave the information for the old room. When I tried calling nothing, msg on the app, nothing. After an hour and a half of tracking someone down finally the husband acted like I was an idiot and said to just talk to his wife. She finally figured out the issue told me a bunch of numbers in the middle of a crowded store, when I asked to text the information she said sure but never did.
The place is small and there is a resident RV there that blasts his TV most the day. It does have gas grills but they were completely out of gas. I picked up a knife in the kitchen and it was broken at the hilt. So romantic getaway it is not but convenient for fishing it is.

The place was small, but cozy. It had everything you need and the best part is the amazing view. The water is right by your front door. I couldn't be happier and wish I had stayed longer.

An anniversary to remember!
We took this trip for our anniversary we were upgraded due to another customer staying longer and it was the best thing that could have ever happened to us we had the best time we brought our boat we seen dolphins and the neighbors were fantastic one of them even gave me some crabs to cook while we were there we will definitely be coming back!

The Shrimp Cabin is perfect for 1 or 2 people who are looking for a great view from their front porch and/or fishing off the dock. The cabin was a bit smaller than we expected (from the pictures) but it was more than adequate with all the necessities for a weekend getaway for us. There is a great restaurant that is walking distance down the street and the cabin is about a 20 min drive into New Smyrna Beach.

Very clean with all basic needs. Boat ramp and dock with cleaning station right at your front door with a beautiful water front view of the lagoon.

The Shrimp Shack
Enjoyed our stay. Clean efficiency. Contains kitchen with sink, microwave, stovetop, refrigerator, and two seat table, queen bed. Beautiful location on the water, attached to boat ramp and dock. Was able to launch 17 ft center console no t-top, 9 ft clearance on covered boat ramp. Larger ramp located near by. My wife said she would stay again. Walking distance to local eatery.

Small but has everything you need. Food around the area is amazing and people are always very friendly. Check in was super easy and host were very quick to respond with any questions we had. Boat ramp right on site was very convenient. Will definitely be coming back!
