This little gem is perfect for spending time outdoors and just relaxing! Great fishing location with a very nice pier. The cottage was well kept and immaculate. We hope to come back in the future!

We had a lovely time at this place. We fished, caught crabs, and saw many birds which were quite interesting. The bed was very comfortable. My host was very quick to answer a message I sent him regarding our arrival being a little late. I would recommend this place to someone that wanted a quiet get-a-way.

The House is very clean and perfect for a small family. The nice restaurants aren't too far from the house. We had a great time crabbing and fishing. My kid enjoyed seeing the popper fishes. He has already made plans to come back again. :-) Thanks for sharing the place.

The property had everything we needed, from a firepit, to a gas grill, to a regular grill, and a Keurig for coffee. The place was very clean and comfortable. I think the bed was a tempur-pedic mattress. It was very nice that this place is on the water with a pier in the back.

This property is exceptional. My husband, our daughter, and I throughly enjoyed. The bed is extremely comfortable and the quietness of the neighborhood was a relief from the city noise. My husband fished from the dock. Allie and I enjoyed the comforts of the home and loved sitting on the porch during sunrise and sunset. Jerry has everything stocked. There were even condiments in the fridge, great coffee for the Kuerig, and everything you could need in the kitchen. The outside lights are adorable and perfect for evening. Thank you Jerry and Jennifer for having such a nice home to stay in on VRBO.

We enjoyed our time there, with a few small difficulties. Will cover those later. The house interior was clean and spacey enough. Great spot for fishing, but didnt catch many. We enjoyed trying, tho. Quiet -Not many neighbors. As for difficulties- there is no local TV news or channels, only streaming. There should be other choices as well. We have been to the area before with regular TV - Houston channels were available. No soap or shampoo was available, tho advertised. Had to find a dollar store for those. And it is strange that we are asked to clean the place when we are charged a substantial cleaning fee. Sorry to complain, but you asked for a review.

My husband and I stayed here for 7 days and had a very relaxing stay. The house was very clean and had everything we needed! We loved how quiet the area was and how close it was to Galveston area. Check in and check out was very easy! We definitely recommend this home to anyone seeking a peaceful retreat!

Nice clean house not far away from great seafood restaurants. Great fishing and an overall quite getaway. Had no complaints whatsoever, will definitely stay here again. Highly recommend!

The place was clean, well-stocked kitchen, and had plenty of room for my family. Bed and futon couch were very comfy. Water machine in fridge was a plus-it tasted great. We loved spending the mornings and evenings on the private pier fishing with our kids. We caught several species. There are local beaches we visited. We made the short drive to Galveston for part of a day. Spent a lot of time on the large, open porch as well. The strand lighting and clean, open yard made it feel so whimsical in the evening hours. My husband kayaked and fished. It was just an overall great place to stay. We would love to revisit in the future.

Biggest blue crabs that we’ve caught to date, quiet neighborhood and relaxing view. Check in went smooth and the property had plenty of activities to keep our 4-yr old busy.

House was totally as advertised. Clean, great view and great fishing. Plus they provided kayaks and some fishing equipment which was super generious. Love this home!

The stay was perfect. Everything was clean and in place. We had zero issues with the property and rested well. We will be returning. Fishing was slow due to the weather, but still enjoyed our stay.

This property met and exceeded my expectations. The weather was fantastic for us, and we were able to take the kayaks out into the bay. I managed to catch a slot redfish just across the cove from the dock. We were also able to catch some croakers, ladyfish, hard heads, and gafttops. My nephew had a blast. Will be looking to stay here again!

Everything was perfect. All items listed in the amenities were there. Cleanliness was outstanding. We were well rested upon our departure. 100 stars. We will return. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. GREAT PLACE TO VACATION !!!!!!!

The property was Excellent, we enjoyed the yard and being able to fish. The house was Excellent and exactly what it looked like in pictures. The owners were great and fast to reply if we has any questions. Will for sure be back Again!
