About this villa rental

Campanelle is an independent villa, on two floors, linked externally.
It lies close to Marciano, one of the numerous small villages in the well-known locality of Massa Lubrense on the Sorrento Peninsula. From its terraces guests enjoy a view taking in on one side the Gulf of Naples and on the other the promontory of Punta Campanella, the outermost point of the Sorrento peninsula which juts out towards Capri.
This recently-built property is surrounded by private land, and by a small garden scattered with flower beds and olive trees and where there is also a private swimming pool.
The villa is furnished in a simple, functional style and is surrounded by a large private terrace with a wood-burning oven and an area for dining in the open air.
The small annex is occasionally used by the gardener.
The nearest beach is about 5 kms away, and Sorrento about 8 kms.

It was absolutely the right decision to rent this house. The wonderful location, away from the hustle and bustle, was exactly what we wanted. The rooms, the terraces, the garden and finally the pool were perfect places to relax and unwind. We can absolutely recommend Campanelle. Of course we would also like to thank Antonio, who supported us excellently from start to finish. The only criticism would perhaps be the mattresses. These were really very saggy and should be replaced at some point. All in all we enjoyed 10 wonderful days.

Fabulous stay in gorgeous location with stunning views over the Bay of Naples and Capri, with spectacular sunsets over the isle of Ischia. The garden is beautifully kept and the pool area with outdoor shower and good quality furniture was perfect. The house is split into a lower apartment with a double and twin bedroom and bathroom and the main house above, again with double and twin rooms, bathroom with over-the-bath shower, living and dining room and kitchen. The bedrooms and living room are spacious and bright. The kitchen and bathrooms are perhaps a little dated but were spotlessly clean. The brick BBQ and pizza oven were handily close to the kitchen. And there were plenty of outdoor seating/dining options on the various terraces. Although the house does have air-con we didn’t need to use it while we were there, the house is naturally cool and easy to ventilate, with shutters and awnings on the sunny sides. There is a lovely family run restaurant within walking distance, and lots of others a short drive away. There is also a surprisingly large Conad supermarket in the next little town. Nearest big town is Sorrento, is lovely and ideal for boat-trips to Capri. The only downside (and it’s not the house’s fault) was that we didn’t appreciate how long it would take to drive to anywhere else due to the winding roads, but it is the perfect place to just chill. Lovely welcome from Antonino, who even helped us with our bags. Thank you!

A very nice place!

I visited Villa Campanella with a group of friends. We had a great stay. The swimming pool was used intensively! There are good restaurants nearby you can reach on foot. Heads up, the location of the villa on google maps is not entirely correct, it is way earlier in the street. All in all, would recommend!
