Great location with Fantastic views. Enjoyed hanging out with my family. I got my exercise in walking up and down the path from the city to the house. Conveniently located close to the beach and city. It takes about two minutes to walk up the path to the house. Surfboards and boogie boards are available at the property if you would like to indulge in that.

I celebrated my bachelorette at this home and it was the perfect spot to get all my girlfriends together! The home was spacious enough to allow all of us to have our own space. Eating outside on the patio and enjoying the view was one of our favorite things to do. Our private chef was incredible, definitely hire her! The walk into the city was convenient as well, we didn’t find that we needed to rent golf carts to get around. We felt very safe and cared for in the home. We also loved using the surfboards that were provided to surf on the beach! Would definitely love to stay again!

From beginning to end we loved everything about Casa Colina. It was perfect for a party of 10. María was always so kind and helpful. The location is perfect, definitely worked off our food walking up the trail. Thank you Eva for always getting back to me with any questions I had. We will definitely be back!

We are Sayulita pros, and this is our new favorite place to stay. The location is perfect. Because you are on the hill, you’ll have to walk up and down it a few times a day. But it’s worth it for the views and the cool breeze that comes through all day. The pool is perfect…our family swam 4x per day. We are all of our meals in the outdoor palapa. The house was clean, and the staff was incredible. Everything was easy, and we could have stayed for weeks. All of the beach equipment was in great condition. BTW: Do not miss the opportunity to have Sirenia, the optional chef, cook you a meal. No lie: single best Mexican meal of our lives. And that includes gourmet restaurants. Our favorites were her cheese enchiladas and her garlic shrimp. We will dream of them for years. We felt super secure throughout our trip. Count on us to return! Thank you Eva, Ernesto, Mari, Sirenia, and Marcelino! We will see you again soon!

This place was great for an adult group of 8. We ended up converting a living room couch into a bed. Really good property for access to town via walking and golf cart. Management is easy to communicate with.
The house itself has all needed amenities. Excellent pool side set up and palapa dining set up.
We found that the in-house dining and chef was lower quality and higher expense than other places similar. That is the only negative to this wonderful place.

Our family of 8 had a great stay at Villa Colina for 8 nights. The pool was gorgeous, warm and clean, and the house was kept spotless. The pool palapa was the perfect place for the family to congregate. We had 2 private chef meals which were wonderful and loved by all ages. A golf cart was fun to have but not really needed unless you have a guest with mobility issues, as it is a very quick 3-min walk down the hill to the beach/restaurants. The rooms fit perfectly for us, but note that the loft room isn’t private, it's inside the 2nd floor tower room. The only drawback to our stay was the shockingly loud music coming from town at night, heard especially by those in the tower rooms: thumping music & full marching bands going all night. Each room comes with ear plugs and a sound machine (thankfully, bc they are much needed) but they are no match to the sound. We live in NYC and are very used to a loud city/sirens/chaos at night and it doesn’t hold a candle to this! It would be the one reason we wouldn’t choose this house again- it’s such an idyllic location, so peaceful and cozy during the day, only to drive you crazy at night. We were there around spring break, so it’s possible that we just had a bad luck, but I wish I had given more weight to the other reviews mentioning the noise. Overall, still a truly wonderful trip - that’s just how nice this villa is.

Villa Colina is gorgeous. The home is cozy and the view is spectacular. The pool is also such a gift. It’s so clean and calming. A nice place to relax after a day of exploring. The layout is great for extended family. And Maria who comes to clean is a very special woman. I’m glad they provided sound machines since the nightlife in Sayulita is busy these days. And Eva was so helpful with any issue, concern or activities we wanted to plan. Thank you for an incredible stay!

The house and property were fantastic and just as described in the listing. Our two families consisting of 4 adults and 5 children ranging in ages from 10 to 14 had plenty of room and thoroughly enjoyed our time. Every day was beach day followed by evenings split between strolling the town and enjoying the nice warm pool. The beds and linens were very comfortable and Mari did a wonderful job with the daily cleaning. The only downside of Villa Colina is uncontrollable by the property owners, but must be stated for future visitors who love a good nights sleep. The club music from the village is very loud and runs until 2-3am on weekdays and 4am on the weekend. The main house is fairly sheltered by the from the noise by the neighbors house and isn’t much of an issue, but the two tower bedrooms have an unobstructed view of the village and are part of party. Regular earplugs are provided (thank you!) but don’t do enough to allow for peaceful rest even with doors and windows closed and the A/C and sound machine running. Bring your noise cancelling devices; it’s your only escape. Again, a small gripe about an otherwise amazing vacation.

This property is AMAZING. Just as described. The pictures are very accurate. We had 8 adults and we all had plenty of room. The view is beautiful. The rooms are nice and beds are comfortable. Bathrooms and showers are also great. The pool and palapa are where we spent most of our time. We were all blown away by our vacation here. The Villas staff are so great and helpful. The owner Eva was very helpful and had so many recommendations. We had a wonderful breakfast and evening Happy Hour done at the Villa and highly recommend. We also had a private Mariachi band come on our last evening & it was fantastic. The property is very safe & there’s evening security staff. We all wondered around town and came home late and never had any issues. The town was amazing and we always felt safe. It’s a busy town with music going late into the night which we enjoyed. Neighborhood was also very friendly. There is a steep hill from town and from the beach to the Villa but we had no issues. Full kitchen and full sized refrigerator. Water service is provided. Also there is a small kitchenette in one of the tower rooms. I highly recommend this Villa. And can’t wait to return.
Ally Cat excursions is a must. The added transportation to and from the airport is worth the money. Beach massages were cheap and fabulous. Seriously there is nothing negative about this Villa or town.

We absolutely loved the house, location and whole property! We enjoyed the pool, view, kitchen and all the places to sit and read or enjoy a bevvie. The whole house team took great care of us- we didn’t want to leave! We also appreciated the earplugs and AC to offset the late holiday cheer from the town each night. Would recommend it and hope to return!

Loved the guacamole and chips at check in! Beautiful home with beautiful view. Host was very helpful with arranging rides etc. noisy at nights, but earplugs were provided and appreciated!

What a great place! The views are stunning, the property beautiful, staff OUTSTANDING, communication fabulous and the beds were magical! We enjoyed Serena’s fish tacos in the house that was hands down our best meal during our entire trip in Mexico.

2 week stay at Villa Colina
Me, my husband & 9 year old son stayed 12 wonderful days in Sayulita. The private pool was amazing. I would suggest taking advantage of the private chef. The house and gardens were kept very clean.

Family vacation in Sayulita!
Our group included my husband and I, 2 grandmas, and 2 kids (2 & 5). The house is very special. It is beautiful, the staff was very helpful, and it has awesome views of the beach and the town of Sayulita below. We had a chef prepare a family dinner twice and a Mexican breakfast. It was some of the best food we had! (fish tacos with pico de gallo, mango and fresh guacamole, chicken mole, and huevos rancheros). It was really nice to relax under the palapa for dinner and take a break from restaurant hunting.
My husband and I took a beginner surf lesson right on Sayulita beach. We rented a golf cart because one of the grandmas has a hard time walking up hills. It made for great adventuring on dirt roads to nearby beaches. We also enjoyed a day trip to San Francisco.

Beautiful house, amazing views and great location!
Villa Colina is just 2 blocks from the beach and the center of town and its location can't be beat. The house is beautiful, has character and is a wonderful place to say. From the pool you get an amazing view of the ocean and town, you can even hear the waves. The staff were extremely helpful, kept the house clean, and were available for any of our needs. This was the perfect location for our family retreat!

Family Vacay
We enjoyed our stay at Villa Colina, everything was exactly as described & Ernesto was so accommodating. Would highly recommend hiring a chef to cook for you at the house, it was our favorite meal. If traveling with small children we also found the golf cart rental to provide more ease in getting around.

This home was just as amazing in person as it looked online (which rarely happens)! The home was very clean and the pool was awesome. The views from the pool and backyard were truly incredible and the house was so close to the main square. We can’t wait to come back!

Great Location and space
We had 3 couples stay here for 4 days. Was great that everyone had their own room/bathroom. Having the pool after a day at the beach was nice and relaxing. The walk down/up to town was a good workout. Cleaning crew was very good. Would reccomned this to anyone staying in Sayulita.

Beautiful Property
We had a wonderful stay in Sayulita at Villa Colina! The house was beautiful and in the perfect location. The pool was beautiful. We called Ernesto prior to our stay and were able to book transportation from the PV airport. Overall, Ernesto was responsive to our requests for a cook and transportation. We had some difficulties arranging a golf cart and we did ask for information on a bartender and masseuse without response, which was a little disappointing. All in all, we had a great stay and would recommend this house to anyone!

Safety in Mexico
Sayulita is delightful. There is a lot of traffic but everyone is polite, takes turns, and NO honking! Golf carts are available to rent but parking is at a premium, so we walked everywhere and felt completely safe. The shops are varied from "la junka" to extremely high end as well as many beach vendors. The night life is colorful and fun. The many restaurants vary from street-side tables to traditional, and we never had anything but delicious food. Casa Colina sleeps eight, is beautiful, incredible views, has a very friendly staff though a little Spanish is helpful or gestures will work. Our cook for breakfast was exceptional. We would all return.

A piece of Mexican paradise!
The Villa Colina completely exceeded our expectations! We were 3 couples there to celebrate our 60th birthdays and this was the perfect Villa to suit all of our needs - from 3 totally separate ensuite bedrooms to a very large dining table for all to join in and plenty of outdoor space to be together or apart. The artwork, landscaping, grounds, and pool were all gorgeous and impeccably clean. We spent many hours stretched out around the pool gazing at the beautiful ocean view. It was an easy 3 -5 minute walk to the beach or into town. ( No golf cart needed unless mobility is a big health issue.) We had their cooks prepare 2 dinners and then also had them prep a pan of chicken enchiladas to leave for us to piece on for lunches ~ the food was exceptional and we highly recommend them! The beds and pillows were the best I've ever had anywhere in Mexico ~ a pleasant surprise! We also recommend Leo, the chauffeur - very prompt, friendly, spotlessly clean SUV and cooler of cold water and beer to greet us! Dennis and all of his staff have been a delight to work with and we look forward to returning to the Villa Colina!

Villa Colina was great The heated pool, ocean view and proximity to Sayulita were all enjoyed
We rented both Villa Colina and Casa Sonadora for 5 families a total of 17 people ranging in age from 8 months to grandparents. There were available high chairs and sleeping areas for all the children to be close to their parents. The view was breathtakingly beautiful and different from all levels of Villa Colina. The pool was heated and close by for adult supervision. Ernesto the property manager was responsive to any requests. The staff both housekeeping and yard workers were friendly! Although we went to Sayulita town site for most evening meals we would have appreciated a small accessible propane barbecue.
The suggestions for golf cart rental and transportation to and from Puerto Vallarta were very helpful and efficient.
Our family vacation was a memorable wonderful time. Much thanks to all, owners and manager and especially the Mexican people who shared their talents of crafts , making delicious food and music. Hola!

Great Property and Location
Overall the property was great. Great view of the main break which makes it nice for surf checks.The location is walking distance to town which made it very nice. Nice little path to get you there right out the front gate. Very clean and nicely maintained. The house was cleaned everyday and everyone working on the property was very nice. I will go back and stay there again.

Paradise in Sayulita
I traveled to Sayulita for a wedding and found this home for rent online. At first, I was skeptical of such a beautiful property for the price. But upon arrival, it was even more gorgeous than the photographs. The grounds are perfectly kept up and the beds are heaven. The decor is straight out of a magazine. It's so inviting, you won't want to leave. Being as I was in Sayulita for a wedding and visited properties other friends had rented, I can say without a doubt, this house is one of the best in Sayulita. It's a quick walk from the town square and the beach. And I found the property manager and owners delightful and quick to help facilitate our needs. If you have the opportunity, rent this place!

Perfecto!
This property is amazing! The location is perfect as it is a less than 5 minute walk to town or the beach. You can see both surf breaks from the pool area which makes surf checks really easy. The pool area is really nice for lounging and relaxing. The kitchen is clean and efficient and has all the essentials. The bedrooms and bathrooms are clean and nicely furnished and comfortable. The service staff, including the property manager is very personable and accommodating to ensure a pleasant stay. I would highly recommend this property for a large family or group of friends. We hope to be back!

lovely property, great stay
This was our third time in Sayulita, and third vacation rental. The first was a block from the town square, the second a home on the north end, and then this trip we stayed at Villa Colina. Villa Colina was by far our favorite location -just a walk down the stairs into town, without most of the town noise, yet you could still hear the surf. The house has such a peaceful setting -the outside is landscaped beautifully. The pool was a perfect temperature, and we spent a lot of time in it. We also hung out quite a bit around the outside table under the palapa. We turned the TV room into a 4th bedroom, and the house perfectly accommodated our extended family . One master bedroom is in the 'main' house, along with the kitchen, living room, and TV room. The other 2 bedrooms are in a separate building, behind the main house. This set-up allowed for both privacy and togetherness. If/when we return to Sayulita, we hope to be able to stay at Villa Colina again.

Beautiful villa We had 8 adults and 3 Children. A little tight but we were fine. Two adults used TV room as bedroom, which meant at times we had to use path around the pool to gather but we worked it out. Place was clean and very nicely decorated.
Beach a bit crowded and not as clean as carribean beaches. Town very dusty and busy.
