Μια ευχάριστη Χριστουγεννιάτικη απόδραση με ανοιξιάτικο καιρό!

Η εξυπηρέτηση από το προσωπικό του ξενοδοχείου ήταν άψογη, το πρωινό πλούσιο με αρκετά τοπικά προϊόντα. Θα προτιμούσα μεγαλύτερη επιλογή καφέ από τον κλασικό φίλτρου!

Good

Gentle service, nice room interior and spacious room in general, car parking available, nice reception area, good bar prices. Extremely nice location in a peaceful area in the heart of Portaria. I guess that the upper rooms had excellent view.

The building and the rooms in the photos of booking.com, were not the ones we saw while there. The main building and reception/restaurant/pool area are in a different building than the one presented on the photos. It was not a bad building, but not a special one like in the photos. The pool was too small to host all clients. Even if they had rules for the use of the pool, there were clients which didn't respect them (noisy enough), but the owners didn't do anything about that. The 2-3 rooms that are right next to the pool are the worse ones, as you cannot even open your window; you always feel that someone is just outside your window. Breakfast quality below average.

Our stay was very comfortable and having breakfast by the pool was quite nice. The breakfast buffet was rich with lots of tasty options. It was very nice to have a parking we can leave our car in safely. Both rooms and common areas were very clean.

The room felt quite dark although it had a balcony overlooking the pool. The whole aesthetic of the room gives off more of a winter vibe, so maybe not the best option for summer vacations. The location is a little bit off the main road and it can be a bit tricky to reach if you have a bigger car.

We really enjoyed staying here so we added another night.

Staff was very friendly and the breakfast was good. Swimming pool was a nice bonus and it’s open till 20:00 which is good.

We had to move rooms ( smaller unfortunately) due to pria booking.

Very pleasant stay in pretty village.

Very helpful staff. Comfortable walking distance to town square. Pool looked great but was a bit too cool when we were there to try it out.

Dragging bag over very uneven roadway to get to the hotel.

Bad

Portaria village is a very nice place. However the place of despotiko is not good as there's only one narrow path with stones and holes and to get to the parking is difficult. Breakfast was good but the room had no sound insulation and we were hearing steps from the floor above all night.

We paid so much for nothing. Parking is difficult to reach by car There was no sound insulation and we couldn't sleep The room was so so basic

Not a 4 star hotel

Stuff bring kind, breakfast, location

this is not a 4 star hotel. broken AC and the room was boiling hot. i has to keep window open, so room was either too cold or too hot. from reviews I found out this is not a new problem but nothing is done, very basic and and small room, very basic shower which switches independently from cold to hot

Pleasant

The staff of the hotel was very kind and friendly. The breakfast very good.

The cleaning could be better. For the category of the hotel, the bathroom and the carpet could be better maintained. Also, a coffee in the room would be much appreciated.

Disappointing

Despotikon was located 5 minutes by foot from the centre of Portaria. Breakfast was very good. The pool was very nice.

When we entered the room we found hanging in the radiator of the bathroom a shower cap from previous tenant. The bathroom towels were totally worn out.The first day we said ok it might happen.When they cleaned our room and changed the towels in the second day the clean ones had even holes on them. The air-condition was very old and noisy and it seemed small of cooling the room effectively.

Great pool and stunning views of the Pagasitic gulf

Despotiko is a beautiful boutique hotel very close to the centre of Portaria. Our room was located in the main part of the hotel. The room was lovely and spacious with a modern bathroom and a small balcony overlooking the swimming pool. The pool was spotlessly clean and the water was a lovely temperature, towels and sun loungers were provided and a bar service was available. The road access to the hotel is pretty challenging so we elected to park in the square and to walk to the hotel. Tavernas, bars, cafes and shops are about 5 minutes walk from the hotel. All the staff were very pleasant and helpful. We know we will be back!

The coffee at breakfast was disappointing… it’s too weak!

Superb

Very nice hotel close to the town with child friendly swimming pool. We had a free upgrade to a very comfortable room with terrace (and for the winter open fireplace). Very friendly and helpful staff. Highly recommended.

There was nothing we did not like.
