This is a great loft! Very clean with comfortable beds. This is a great location for shopping and dining. Owner is very friendly and knowledgeable on history. We will definitely be back and will stay at this location or one of their properties in the future.

This place is amazing! The on-line photos are perfect photos of the place but, they can not express the feel you get by staying in this 1800 Charming modernized piece of history. This is a must stay place. It is in my top 2 VRBO stays. I love to travel and stay in interesting VRBO’s. It’s a passion of mine. Main Street in Denison is so cool and this property is right on main so it made it easy to get to all the little shops in town. The bedrooms are roomy the washer dryer made so convenient. Super neat place. We would definitely come back if we are ever back in town.

The Sedalia on Main was a charming apartment that was above and beyond decorated for Christmas. It wasn't missing a thing, and we were very comfortable. Perfect location and we had a lovely visit with our family! Jeri and Doug are great hosts!

As described in the listing, the property is on the second floor. We could have used a helpful Sherpa to carry our (multiple) bags up and down the steep staircase, so be advised it is not suited for folks with physical disabilities. Inside is gorgeous with calm, relaxing vibes. We did find candy pieces and food crumbs in the carpet (not vacuumed??) and crickets dead and alive, but that didn’t keep us from having a nice time. Another tip: read the amenities list carefully with an eye to what is missing: no body soaps or shampoo in showers; no hair dryers; no DVD player. I just assumed from stays at other holiday VRBO units/rentals and boutique hotels I’ve stayed in that such might be included. The description IS accurate; my fault for not reading between the lines. As I said before, our stay was lovely and not long enough. Wish we’d had an extra night!

Everything was as advertised. Beautiful historic restoration with all the upgrades needed. Clean and comfortable. Walking distance to all of downtown Denison. Would book again for sure.

My husband and I visited Denison for a short anniversary weekend while visiting a few state parks. This was a lovely eclectically decorated loft. We loved the location and had a lot of fun visiting the area. We’d definitely stay here and again! Thanks!

This loft was even better than expected. Very spacious and comfortable and decorated beautifully. I highly recommend this property for couples or two friends having a girl's weekend away as both bedrooms had a private bath. Antique stores and shopoing all within walking distance. We will be back.

The loft was absolutely gorgeous. I was in town with a friend who was visiting her dying sister. This was a stressful trip and having such a beautiful place to regroup and recharge was perfect. Would love to stay again for a happy reason.

My husband, I, our son and his fiancé were in Denison for the Doc Holliday Festival. We stayed at the loft, and it was absolutely beautiful! Jeri is such an attentive/engaged host. She went into detail about the history of the property and answered all my questions promptly. The pictures on-line are beautiful- wait until you see it in person. We will be back!

The owner, Jeri, met us at the property and gave us a tour and shared the history of the apt. It is beautifully appointed and offers a perfect location. It sits above the Railroad Museum that was fun to visit - the volunteers there are sweet and informative. We enjoyed brunch at Cafe Blackbird (just a short walk down Main Street) yummy! Our weekend there was great - we would happily stay there again.

This place is nice and the history is awesome! The location to downtown is perfect for walking to shops and places to eat. Loved being able to walk to some of the night life food and drinks without driving. Over all I would highly recommend and want to come back.

The pictures are wonderful but don't fully illustrate how gorgeous everything is. The apartment is museum worthy and Jeri is a great guide explaining all the beautiful and historical objects that she has collected and placed around. The apartment itself is placed perfectly to be able to walk to many of the restaurants, coffee shops and small stores. The beds are comfortable and there is a very large walk in closet in the master bedroom. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need and the refrigerator is huge. We did not get to enjoy the outside seating due to rain but the skylights throughout the apartment made it enjoyable to watch the sky when we were in bed or in the kitchen. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, Jeri is a wealth of information about the town, the railroad and its history and the upcoming restoration for the downtown. We are looking forward to coming back!!

I cannot tell you or anyone else how beautiful this property is. I will be back again! It is minutes from live music and in the historic district. Jeri did not forget a single detail and the atmosphere was peaceful and has great energy.

My mom, dad and boyfriend all stayed with me at this little gem. We live in North Texas an just wanted a little weekend getaway and this place hit the spot! Great location with bars and restaurants all in walking distance. We walked to the farmer’s market on Saturday morning and wandered down Main Street on the way back. Went out to Lake Texoma for the afternoon and swam and watched the boats. It was all around a great time. Made even better when I realized that they are located upstairs from the Railroad Museum! (I come from a railroad family.) I totally recommend a stay.

We had never been to Denison and wanted to stay close to downtown. We were beyond impressed by this place! It was like a newly renovated HGTV historic home. Very spacious with high ceilings- also comfortable, beautiful, and spotless, with historical character and charm. We sat outside on cushioned glider chairs on the balcony and listened to nearby live music. Then I took a hot bath in the deep freestanding tub of the master ensuite while my husband relaxed in the living room overlooking main street and snacked on some of the local fare our host provided from the nearby Monet Cafe. We loved that place so much we ate supper there twice! Cafe Blackbird is the place for brunch or lunch. Everything is amazing and made from scratch- breads, pies, cakes, soups, etc. We'll definitely be back to stay here again! Thank you again to our hosts.

Amazing!!

Amazing!!

What an amazing experience! The pictures do not do it enough justice. So much time was put into the decor. It was so much fun looking at everything. The beds were so soft and the bathrooms were both so modern. The kitchen was stocked with gifts of wine and pastries. And fresh flowers in every room!! The location was perfect for a weekend getaway! Jeri took so much time, thought and consideration into every detail of our stay. It was just amazing!!
