Egg Harbor Cottage, open year-round, a chalet located on a wooded lot just a few miles from downtown Egg Harbor. This three-bedroom cottage has been modernized to be your home away from home any time of the year. Dual zoned central air conditioned for your comfort along with a central germicidal air purifier. The main level features three separate entries. The layout includes a spacious master bedroom including a king, and a sizeable closet. Across the hall, one full bath with a jetted whirlpool tub/shower to help you relax. The cottage is equipped with a full amenity kitchen, a walk-in pantry, and stainless-steel appliances, as well as a full laundry with front loading washer and dryer. The dining room table allows seating for six to eight, and a snack bar. The cozy living room has leather furniture, wood burning fireplace, 65" curved screen Smart TV with cable, and a Blu-ray player. The open concept of the dining room and kitchen has a patio door leading to a beautiful, wooded yard for privacy. The second level houses two spacious bedrooms with three queen beds along with closets. One of the second level bedrooms has a 43” Smart TV, Blu-ray player, DVD’s, books, and family games to enjoy. The second level bathroom has a shower.

The stone walkaround leads to a stone patio with two patio tables, umbrellas and eight chairs. Enjoy cooking on the gas grill or over the nearby firepit. Later in the evening, take an evening stroll a few blocks to view the vibrant colors of a Door County sunset.

We enjoyed the sights and offerings of Egg Harbor and Door County with our little group of family members and appreciated the location, cleanliness and amenities like the fire pit. Walked to the water front each night for the sunset. Perfect <3

We had an awesome stay at this home near Egg Harbor! The house was so clean and well appointed - we were able to cook a couple of delicious breakfasts, and enjoyed multiple nights playing games with a fire in the fireplace. The rainy weather kept us from being able to use the outdoor fire pit, but there was plenty of seating and wood available for use.
The bedrooms were perfect for our party of 6, and while it was an adults only trip, we noticed how well stocked the home was for families as well. There is a stroller, booster seat, games, movies, and tons of kitchen utensils for kiddos available!
The group’s only complaint was the upstairs shower head is quite short for our group of taller adults, but we managed just fine and were thankful for the added amenities of shampoo and lots of clean towels and washcloths.
Laurie was very communicative and even provided some recommendations for fun places for dinner nearby. The home is very close to downtown Egg Harbor, and not a far drive from all the wineries, breweries and state park fun of Door County. You can even take a nice stroll down to the water to watch the sunset.
Overall, we had a wonderful time and hope to be back to stay again soon!

This is a newer house in what looks like a developing neighborhood south of Egg Harbor. We thought it was a good location for exploring the middle third of the peninsula. Would have been a bit of a drive to the north end.
Pros: Clean, well-stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, modern A/C for both upstairs and down, very nice back patio and fire pit.
Cons: No dishwasher (I should have reviewed the amenities more carefully). And the nice back yard is a little too close to the road to really be peaceful.

We really enjoyed this cottage. The owners' description is spot on, so we won't repeat any of that. The cottage is in a quiet neighborhood with excellent opportunities for safe walking and biking with views of Green Bay. Close to Egg Harbor and two sand beaches, short walk to the shore to watch the sunset. Extremely clean (we have high standards). Well equipped and lots of thoughtful amenities. Owners are very friendly and responsive. We already reserved for next year.

We found a beautiful gem in this home and location. The owners were helpful when we couldn’t figure out how to unlock the door upon our arrival (user error - not theirs!). Tucked away from it all, yet so close to it all, we would highly recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay up here. The home was beautiful - so clean, comfortable, and cozy. Our boys loved having their own rooms, and we enjoyed the time to play games together in the living room. Local wildlife abounds and you can hear the sounds of the lake as you step out the door. A wonderful place to make memories and enjoy all that Door County has to offer!

We have stayed at several places in the Doore County area and this one is the best we have ever stayed at. Very clean, set up just right, everything was perfect. Great size for the amount we had but could have easily had more there. Very nice location. We will stay there again and tell out friends.

The house was absolutely perfect. It was so warm and inviting the moment we (2 couples) walked in. You could tell the owners take very good care and have thought of everything that you could need. The outdoor firepit was great for winding down each night. The location was ideal - very close to Egg Harbor but just far enough away to feel like you were out in the country. The check-in process couldn't have been any easier. Easily, one of the nicest places I have stayed. Thank you for allowing us to use your home!

We loved this home. It is off the beaten path quiet yet great location. It was clean and well maintained. Everything seemed new. It was a five minute walk to the beach to watch the sunset. Great place to walk and run without any people or traffic. Loved seeing the deer in the evening and the morning. It is a peaceful relaxing setting which we loved. Would stay here again and recommend to friends. We could only stay Sunday to Friday but the owners were very accommodating. We also had some bad storms roll thru and the owners texted to make sure we were good. Highly recommend this home especially if you like peace and quiet.

This is a great central location in Door County. Cottage was very clean and the layout of bedrooms and bathrooms was nice for a family. We thoroughly enjoyed the fire pit and appreciated the well stocked wood pile. House is closer to the main road than others in the neighborhood, but it did not bother us and the central location and space in the house were well worth the trade-off. Neighborhood was set up great for walks and is a 3 minute drive to Egg Harbor Beach. We appreciated the starters of coffee/soap/detergent/etc. We didn't have any concerns during our stay, but felt that we would have received a prompt response from the owners if so. Would definitely stay again when in the area.

This is a beautiful home that is tastefully decorated. We cannot say enough about how much we enjoyed this home. The house is well laid out, the kitchen is well equipped, and the entire home was spotless. They have all you need, including a gas grill, a firepit, a fireplace, and a beautiful woods surrounding the property. Communication with the owner was extremely responsive. The neighborhood was great for bicycling; however we would have preferred to be farther from the main road. The location is also great: the house is centrally located to many of the attractions in Door County. Overall we highly recommend this home.

New Years Magic!
We had the opportunity to roll into 2022 at Laurie's property. What a delight! We had two families- four adults and four kids 3-10- who had a blast. The house was incredibly clean and well appointed. The kitchen was great and more than one bath was taken in the jetted tub. As it was pretty cold, we spent a good portion of our days playing board games and cards with by warmth of the fireplace. All the little extras- a welcome basket, board and card games, plenty of wood for the fireplace- made our stay so delightful. We hope to back later this year when the weather is warmer and we can explore more of what Door County has to offer.
