Yurt meets cabin. Private yurt inspired cabin on our homestead set in between native prairie grass and woods, this is the perfect oasis to get away. Inspired by turn-of-the-century charm of our 1873 Italianate, this will be like a vintage treasure rediscovered. Quality craftsmanship with artisan designs to lend character and authenticity, the luxury bathroom with walk-in shower and kitchen will make this stay an unforgettable trip.

Absolutely loved staying here at the Yurt. So incredibly tranquil, quiet and relaxing. Surrounded by nature but not far from everything you need. I spent 3 nights here, I just wish I had more time. My dog loved the property, all the trails throughout and taking in all the wildlife.

It was an amazing place to stay! We stopped here before heading to Wisconsin and it was the perfect place. We spent most of the time relaxing because it was so secluded it was nice to escape all the business of life! We will definitely stay again!

Amazing! The yurt is beautifully made. Details are incredible. So peaceful. Feels deep in the woods..wildlife…deer, bunnies, birds. Just a little piece of heaven.. will definitely go back again. Loved it!

This place was terrific! It was modern where it needed to be modern and accented with just the right amount of rustic furnishings. It was somehow perfectly cozy and spacious at once. We stayed there to take a day trip to Shades State Park, and it was an easy 20-30 minute drive. Check-in was a piece of cake. My ONLY critique is that there were no shades or blinds on any of the windows, so it was hard to get a sense of absolute privacy, even though it was fairly remote. Hopefully that will be added soon!

We’ve stayed here numerous times and will, again. The property is perfect - isolated and quiet, yet convenient to Crawfordsville and Wabash College. Issac is very prompt with communications. Again, we highly recommend The Queen & I and, especially, their yurt-inspired cabin.

This was our third stay in The Queen & I’s yurt-styled cabin. This has become our go-to place in Crawfordsville. Impeccably clean, very comfortable, great bathroom, and a quiet, unique setting. We always enjoy the fire pit and an evening under the stars. We highly recommend The Queen & I.

If you're unsure about booking this place, let me tell you - BOOK IT! If you think you'd like to wake up to the sunrise coming in huge, beautiful windows over an amazing view of the beautiful Indiana prairie, or maybe if you'd like a wide swath of forest that feels entirely your own, or maybe if you'd like to watch some deer run while you set around a fire pit - BOOK IT. This place was the perfect little getaway for our weekend. We loved this place and will definitely be coming back!

This was a first trip for our young lab, and we took him to Shades SP to hike. This was an amazing dog-friendly place with many paths mowed in grassland, secluded feel-yet close proximity to so many things. It shares property with a gorgeous B&B farmstead. So cute. And I want a luxury yurt now. You will too.

This property was amazing. It was close to town and yet completely secluded. The windows that surround the cabin make you feel immersed in nature. A turkey landed right outside the window on the first night and a deer walked right by on the second. All of the amenities were very well thought out and the cabin was very clean. I highly recommend this cabin!

The attention to design and detail at this luxurious cabin makes it so easy to relax and enjoy. We came for a 3 night stay and wished it didn’t have to end. We found it so easy to relax and enjoy our time here. I must have walked the paths through the wildflowers four or five times a day. The hosts thought of everything. We never had to ask for anything, but knew they were available a quarter-mile and another world away. The light from the windows and skylight is incredible, and the stone-tile bathroom/shower is outstanding. We plan to return.

2nd time here and the wife and little pup had a great time. Driveway has settled out a little since last time so it’s a little smoother. The wife loved the tv add. Nice cut in paths for walking and exploring. Looking forward to next year.

It was very nice, comfortable, and spacious for a cabin. We spent the weekend hiking in the Turkey Run and Shades state parks, a short drive from the cabin. A Kroger and Walmart was not far for the cabin for grocery shopping. Will probably stay at this cabin again in the future.

Perfect spot to feel the solitude of out in the wilderness, but the convenience of being close to town/home. Stayed here to celebrate our 1 year anniversary, and we had the best time. Made a three course meal & kitchen was stocked to handle. Very quaint, cozy, and chill vibe. Ambiance is perfect. Definitely would recommend!!

This place is so peaceful, my boyfriend and I had an amazing time. The kitchen has everything you need to make a quick and easy meal, I had fun cooking while having and amazing view of the woods. I am curious to see it during summer and have the trees surround the yurt. We had a good time and definitely recommend this place.

Love the Yurt....if nothing else, loved people's reaction to it. I know that my friends that chose the local motel 6 were very jealous! The property is still under construction...albeit all just cosmetic work that does not impact the stay. My last comment is that the yurt should have a bedside lamp. I love the lighting but you are about 15 feet from the bed when you turn off the light and have to navigate to the bed in the dark. Overall though...a great stay thank you.

Driving in at night on the gravel road through the tall grasses was very cool. The yurt itself is wonderful. Amenities were great and the yurt was very neat and clean. The first night was a little uneasy about the lack of window coverings shades and/or curtains but decided the second and third night to just embrace the experience. It truly is an experience. Would highly recommend.

Loved the peaceful setting of this unique cabin/yurt! It was close to Turkey Run SP and Shades SP and lovely to come back to after a day of hiking. Crawfordsville is a cute little town too with grocery stores close by and good restaurants.
