Very peaceful, comfortable stay with a beautiful view. Nice ambiance for a quick couples get away. Tucked in the woods but still close to town.

Our 2 night stay was overall great, but there are a few things to know before you book. (don’t get me wrong I would book this cabin again. Nothing was a dealbreaker.) The pictures make the space look a little larger than it is. Although the place is super cute inside, there is not much space to sit as a group. We had four people and no matter where we went we had to bring chairs in from other rooms. The listing says that the road is steep, but what they left off is super narrow. Two cars cannot fit so we had to back down a steep road to get out of the way(scary). The cabins next door have roosters crowing every morning and their dogs got loose and came to visit. The only complaint I have is the lack of cleanliness we came into. The house immediately smell like mildew when i walked in & every morning we all woke up feeling sticky. The dining table had jelly on it, air vents in living room was caked with dirt, dishes from cabinet were dirty, spider webs/bugs in several rooms, broken blinds, soured towels, dirty hot tub, & stained sheets on bunk beds. We did report the blinds to property manager and they quickly responded.

Lost power, trees down. Attiema came through around 4 pm on Sunday. Entire area was without power and tress were down all around. Generator kicked in immediately. Trees were cleared by the next day. Neighbors are friendly and helpful. Property manager on top of all issues even though she had no power at home and multiple properties with issues. Will stay again.

This house is located close to town but feels a million miles away as it sits up a hill and surrounded by a canopy of trees. The accommodations were adequate and we enjoyed the outdoor experiences: gas grill, fire pit with enough seating for 6, hot tub, dining table on the covered deck right off of the kitchen. The house is exactly as pictured. However, my only suggestions would be this - the house could benefit from having some preventative maintenance on a regular basis. When we left we noticed that the outlet in the main bathroom was making a clicking noise indicating that the GFCI outlet went bad. This outlet was never used during our stay. The hot tub had floating film on top of the surface - it definitely needed to be cleaned and refilled. The switches in the house are labeled, which I appreciated but some of them would only turn on, if in the “off” position. The igniter battery on the gas grill was dead along with the main tv remote - we purchased batteries to fix these issues. The blinds on the door are broken and couldn’t be rolled up to allow natural light inside. There just a lot of little odds and ends (maintenance) that need to be addressed throughout the house. Those didn’t bother me personally as much as the cleanliness of the house upon arrival. The house had a musty smell and the refrigerator and freezer smelled awful - I believe that they attempted to mask the smell with boxes of baking soda. The floors looked like they hadn’t been mopped or swept. There was some dead bugs around the doorway - I anticipated bugs given the location and the fact that they were dead tells me that they probably did exterminate the property at some point. Overall, the house could benefit from a deep clean. I washed all the linens prior to sleep and when I removed the linens from the top bunk, there was a dead fly on the mattress cover. The inside of the oven didn’t even look like it’s ever been cleaned. There was grease and residue on the kitchen trash can. Despite all of that, we truly did enjoy our stay - we cleaned what we could without interrupting our trip. We enjoyed all of the beautiful hikes that the area had to offer that we extended our stay 2 extra nights. We made memories around the fire pit and the dining table outside. It’s a beautiful house and fit our needs for the week but needs maintenance and a deep clean.

The cabin is in a great location close to downtown Blue Ridge with paved roads. Giving 3 stars due to cleanliness. Also, there’s no dishwasher in the cabin.

The place was accurately pictured and it was absolutely beautiful in a beautiful spot. A freeze came through Blue Ridge, and a few issues happened, but the owner made them all right and did right by us. I would use him again & I would stay at this cabin again.

The directions where not given in detail, but once we figured it out, this was the best location. We visited a few apple farms and the cabin was very centrally located. The cabin was clean and had everything we needed. There was even plenty of fire wood to take advantage of the fire pit in back. The hot tube could have used a cleaning, but overall we really enjoyed our stay.
