About this villa rental
Villa Sorriso is a comfortable & superbly appointed villa in the popular Luz Parque, 15 mins walk from the village with its full amenities and a safe, sandy beach. In March 2021 Villa Sorriso achieved a 4.9 out of 5 guest review rating of which the owners are extremely proud of. The villa is 10 mins from golf. Approx 60 mins from Faro airport and 180 mins from Lisbon.
Located on the ground floor (cooler in high summer) the 3 bedrooms have direct access to the pool (can be heated April to October - extra charge) and 2 courtyards (both have pergolas for shade) with sun loungers/shades and patio furniture for alfresco dining close to the B.B.Q. There are also 2 newly refurbished bathrooms (1 en-suite).
The spacious upstairs lounge has comfortable sofas, WIFi internet access, TV and DVD player and leads directly to a large balcony overlooking the pool and with fantastic uninterrupted 180' sea views, the perfect place to eat, drink and relax. There is also a separate dining room and fully equipped refurbished modern kitchen. From the balcony a staircase leads to the pool.
The villa is enclosed by surrounding walls and gated access provides secure parking for 2 cars. Excellent all-round security. (AL registered 3215/AL)
The entire villa and all its facilities are completely private and for the exclusive use of its guests.

On arrival the cleaner was at the villa, we were early and she invited us in but, we declined to leave her to complete her routines, she really wanted to help us, a perfect start.
With this being our 1st time to Portugal and the Algrave we fell in love with the villa and the location with it's superb facilities and it's stunning views.
The Villa was perfect, fully equiped with everything you need especially with us having a 6 month old baby within our party.
There was plenty of space to accomodate us all, in the upstairs (lounge and kitchen diner) areas, the downstairs bedrooms plus the outdoor facilities around the pool and gardens.
A superb Family holiday, we loved the whole stay and wished we had a second week!!
The only thing we can think of is maybe to have an itinery or listing of the keys to locks that visitors should have access to.
This listing would be helpful so on arrival and departure these can be checked in case any go missing and can be reported, as we discovered there were 2 sets missing which we then had to report to the office.

The communication with Jinny Villas was excellent. The villa was very good , plenty of space for all our party. It was great to find a baby bath and some toys they made a big difference.
We cooked in a few times an big oven tray and a steamer would of been very handy.

Wonderful Villa
We have stayed in this villa for the last couple of years. The villa is always spotless and well equipped. The management company are very helpful and efficient.
The views are stunning from the balcony and the villa is a 15 minute walk away from the beach. Would highly recommend this villa and we will be returning next year
My only comment would be that the pool man didn't pop in during our two weeks

a casa muito bem equipada (especialmente a cozinha). Apenas achamos o revestimento interno da piscina um bocado abrasivo para os pés. De resto foi uma optima estadia. A piscina aquecida foi particularmente apreciada pela pequenada.

Home from home
You're always a bit nervous when you arrive at a new property. However, from the moment you drive down a street lined with flowers and trees, and see the house in front of you, you know that it's been a good choice.
Lovely setting is further enhanced when you enter and take the stairs to the upstairs lounge with views to all four points. Open the doors to the balcony and take in the view of the Luz coastline. Then retrace your steps to find a very well appointed lounge and well equipped kitchen.
Back down the stairs to the bedrooms , two of which open out onto a terrace with a heated pool..... just what is needed after a long journey . Plenty of loungers and pool toys to keep the child in all of us happy.
All in all, a very relaxing place, with an eye on making it more than just a holiday home. Very safe and secure which adds to your sense of well being.

Family Holiday
This was our first holiday abroad in 10 years and I can honestly say it was one of the best! The villa is everything you could need, a real home from home. Graham the owner was excellent with all communication and his service is perfect. I spent hours reading lots of reviews on different villas and it seemed like a mine field on which to choose!However I would 100 % recommend you stay here. We had a hire car which helped with parking near to the beach and supermarkets (5 mins drive away) You could walk to the beach/town but it is quite hilly but still only about 20 mins away. Luz is beautiful and has 2 really good supermarkets all the restaurants are great. We really enjoyed our Indian meal at "Saffron" this is worth a visit. The beach was great if a little crowded but you always found a place to sit, the sea is a bit cold but not freezing like England. The Villa was not too hot at night time which was perfect and there were also fans provided if you needed them. Our boys are aged 4 and 7 and I would say this Villa and location would suit every age group young and old. The pool was fab and every bedroom had access to the garden but with great security measures in place so we never felt unsafe in anyway. The area is perfect for exploring we went to Lagos Zoo which the kids loved ! you can even swim next to the penguins(behind glass). I am happy to say we thinking about booking again for next year :)

Perfect For Us
We spent a week in early September at this delightful villa. The accommodation was exactly as described and extremely well equipped - especially for those who enjoy cooking whilst on holiday. There is no air conditioning which was not an issue during our stay, but there are portable fans for when the temperatures are higher. We actually found some evenings positively chilly and used the spare blankets as wraps so that we could still sit outside! The first floor balcony has panoramic views over the sea, Luz and beyond. The villa is in a quiet location and is a good 15 minute walk into Luz, depending on the final destination, but we definitely benefited from hiring a car and were able to explore more widely than on our previous visit to Luz. Locally though there are fantastic cliff walks to the east and west leading to some lovely beaches. Burgau is to be particularly recommended and takes about an hour each way, depending how often you stop to take in the views. All in all I would highly recommend this comfortable and welcoming holiday villa in a lovely part of the Algarve.

A Home Away From Home
We were so fortunate to spend a beautiful month in our "home away from home". From the moment we pulled in the driveway we felt like we belonged. A beautiful, welcoming, very well maintained villa with views that were appreciated anytime of the day, we enjoyed sunrise and sunset, we enjoyed the village and embraced regularly the village and surrounding towns. This is a perfect location to begin, the hub of a wheel that allows you to take off on many day trips to explore and return for dinner. We were so pleased and happy to be there. It was sad to leave but our length of stay was perfect, we left no stone unturned and saw so much. There were many days we stayed put and appreciated that someone was allowing us to share this wonderful place. Thank you.

Wonderful villa with fantastic views
We had a wonderful time in Praia da Luz. The views from the villa were fantastic where we sat on the balcony every morning for our breakfast to start the day off well. There was everything in the villa you could think off including a bbq. We also had the bonus of sunshine everyday in the 2 weeks we stayed with temperatures above 27 degrees. All in all a fantastic place to stay. We will definitely be staying again, possibly next year if all goes to plan.

Great Villa & Great Experience!
We had a great family holiday at This amazing villa, it made us feel like we were home. It was immaculately clean, and had all the modern conveniences of our own home. The kitchen was well organized, the owners provided us with every dish, appliance and cookware we could possibly need. The pool and many outside areas are lovely and a relaxing week was had by all, especially our 8 year old granddaughter who had many hours of fun in the pool.
It is so nice to book holiday accommodation that provided more than we expected.
Luz is a great place for holidays for all age groups and offers many restaurants serving good quality food at reasonable prices.

Wonderful family holiday
The villa was fantastic. Well set up for kids, particularly younger ones. A travel cot and safety gates were provided and although the bedrooms all opened onto the pool they could be safely locked particularly at night. A car would be very useful but the villa is close enough to the town to walk. We had a wonderful week there and will return!

What a great time we had in your wonderful villa! Everything was perfect from start to finish, and the place is so well equipt, it made our lives so much easier (especially with babies)! The heated pool was brilliant, the views stunning, and the location was perfect too. We'd love to come back in the future! Thank you again for making our stay so wonderful and easy, and for arranging the extra highchair and cot (the management team out there were lovely and very helpful too). clean, bright and well cared for.
We were very impressed with the condition of the villa and the facilities. All the rooms were well presented and the kitchen in particular was very well equipped. The property was exactly as described on the website, in fact it was even more so, very comfortable and the views from every angle were a joy. A couple of hiccups were very quickly resolved by the manager. All in all we were very impressed and would not hesitate to recommend the villa to family or friends.

Nice to be back!
Great to be back in Portugal after 12 years! Villa Sorriso is a lovely villa and very comfortable (although, because of the design of the villa there are quite a lot of steps.) Nicely located and just a 15 min walk to the lovely resort of Praia da Luz. There are lovely restaurants catering for all tastes and budgets in Luz, and lots more in nearby Lagos. The beaches are stunning, and if you're prepared to explore you'll discover some real gems. A great holiday had by everyone and generally highly recommended.

Comfortable, relaxing property with superb views
Really enjoyed our stay in Villa Sorriso. It's a lovely house, beautifully furnished and well equipped, with wonderful views. The weather was almost perfect, the pool was deliciously warm and the regular visits by the maid much appreciated. We had a great holiday - a mixture of relaxing in the sunshine and pottering along the coast to visit other towns and beaches.
