Enjoy our entire beautiful home in an idyllic, convenient location! Walk to everything Huron has to offer: beaches, river, pier, restaurants, boat launch, shopping and nightlife. Consider our house an oasis to return to after your day at Cedar Point, CP Sports Force, Kalahari, Sandusky, or the Lake Erie Islands.
Our home is located on a beautiful lot with ample parking for 4 cars.
The house has been recently renovated and provides two large living rooms both complete with 50 inch TVs (with streaming capabilities) for your enjoyment.
With three bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a queen size daybed our home can comfortably accommodate 8 people.
The Kitchen features all brand new appliances and has a large dining table perfect for meals and family game nights.
Our house will provide you the perfect balance between all the action of the activities of the Lake Erie Shores and Islands and the serenity of a small lakefront town.
We are just a few minutes’ drive from many popular destinations! Cedar Point (15 minutes), Faben's Park (2 blocks away!), CP Sports Force (10 minutes), Kalahari (8 minutes), Downtown Sandusky and the Jet Express to the Islands (18 minutes).

Loved our stay. The 2 living areas was awesome!

I enjoyed my stay here. The house was clean and we had everything we needed. The host messaged me periodically just to check in, which I appreciated. We had one night during our vacation that we had to stay in because of torrential thunderstorms. We had plenty of space to chill out and watch baseball, play board games, and relax.

We were there for a dance competition at Kalahari. This was the perfect location. Easily accessible from the main roads, 10-11 minute drive to Kalahari, and walking distance from Lake Erie. The location was pristine and the host was highly communicative with any requests and check ins. Couldn’t have asked for a better trip. Will likely be staying here again if we are ever back at Kalahari for a dance competition.

We stayed in Huron do some Walleye fishing. From this location we walked to everything we did while not fishing. Pier, lighthouse, food, ice cream, etc... all convenient. The house is well stocked and exceeded our expectations.

We had grandchildren in a baseball tournament and. A granddaughter performing at Cedar Point.This was an amazing home close to both as well as traveling to Kelly’s Island. The home is beautiful and the hosts were very welcoming in their set up and communication. We enjoyed several of their recommendations for local restaurants and activities for children. We would highly recommend this place!!

The house was perfect for what we needed. It was a short walk to an ice cream shop and park. Saturday we went to Kalahari and it was about a 10 minute drive. It was nice to be so close so we could take our girls back for a nap and to regroup. The house was super clean and the host was great to work with. We will be back!

Everything we needed was available. The house was very clean and stocked with basics. We made a family road trip from Florida and Cedar Point was second stop. The house was relaxing and inviting. Everyone had their own comfortable bed and we were able to make breakfast each day before heading out. Will come back and spend more time to explore Huron and the lake!

This was a great place to stay. Very clean and spacious. Beds were super comfortable and host was great to work with. We were there for a basketball tournament and to go to Cedar Point and it was a perfect location. Would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful house just the right size for our group of 8, in a great location in Huron. We were able to walk down to the boat basin and stop by for some ice cream on the way back! Would definitely recommend.

Such a nice stay near everything. Beds super comfortable. Communication fantastic with owner. Trains run through the town and you can hear but two bedrooms have sound machines that totally help if your that much of a light sleeper and I used and I had no trouble sleeping at all. I would recommend and stay again!

We were in town for the Ironman and had a big family group. Everything was great- comfortable accommodations, well equipped kitchen, lots of room to spread out. Communication with owner was prompt and informative. I’d definitely recommend this property if you are in the area.

The Heart of Huron is a cozy, nicely updated home close to the Sports Force Park (10 minute drive), Cedar Point (15 minute drive) and Lake Erie. Jennifer was very responsive to emails and text messages prior to and during our stay. The home was very clean and had cute decor. It was well-stocked with cleaning supplies, paper products, and hand soap. The kitchen was fully equipped with cooking and baking supplies as well as plates, bowls, and glassware. The tasty welcome basket of snacks was a nice touch upon check in! We would definitely stay here again if traveling to the Huron or Sandusky region!

Great Place to stay
This home was wonderful. Jen was always available when I had questions and answered me promptly. The location was a perfect distance to our dance competition at Kalahari. It is also very close to the beach. The house is stocked with everything you would need. I highly recommend this rental. We enjoyed our stay.

Our family really enjoyed staying at the Heart of Huron house as part of a larger family gathering in the area. The home was clean,
comfortable, and well decorated—with plenty room for three adults and four children. We appreciated all the extra touches the host gave to make us feel so welcome. We would stay here again!

Great getaway in Huron
We rented the Heart of Huron for a family vacation- one family with 2 adults and 2 thirteen-year olds, the other family with 2 adults and 1 young adult. Plenty of beds and spaces for us all. Loved the two living rooms. Kitchen was well equipped. Owner was great in helping us find places to get ice cream (Pied Piper) and morning coffee within walking distance. The beach at the end of the street is great and there is a great area for viewing the sunsets not far from the house. We had a great time!

Fabulous for all
Traveling with our adult children to do Cedar Point Amusement Park and other area activities. We were a party of 5 adults. The "Heart of Huron" was a fabulous place to stay. There was so much room. It was great having a table large enough for all, especially for our game night. The kitchen was large and very well equipped. Communication with Jen was prompt and informative. All of Jen's recommendations were spot on. The town of Huron is a hidden gem. We spent much of our time there. Great restaurants, parks, beaches, and shops. We all highly recommend staying here. Beautiful little getaway
The property was beautifully decorated, it was close to everything that we wanted to do. The furniture and beds were very comfy, and the home was warm and inviting. The kitchen was stocked with plenty of dishes, coffee pot, and 2 wine openers 😁. Couldn't of asked for anything more.

Family in town for a wedding.
I can not begin to say enough positive things about this home in Huron. The house is well stocked and has space that the 6 of us did not feel as if we were living in top of each other. Yes, you may hear trains but if you are in the area, you will hear them. They did not impact my sleep. Jen is super helpful.

The Heart of Huron
Centrally located to Lake Erie fishing, this home was well appointed. Beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped. Owners were very accommodating allowing a little extra time for us to pack and depart after a morning of fishing and were very quick to respond. If you seek quiet, note that the home is near a train that made frequent runs throughout the night sounding its horn. The home also had strong incense throughout that we felt may have been necessary to offset cat/pet odors. Overall, we would definitely book this home again due to the great location combined with the clean and nicely appointed home.

Very enjoyable stay
The house was great for a family of 4. Recently renovated, very clean, and the kitchen is equipped with good quality, usable items rather than the assortment of old leftovers that seem to be the norm for vacation homes. We even got a very nice personal welcome card. Jenn always responded quickly and with good tips that I found very helpful.
