About this house rental
Gulf Horizons is a beautiful 5000 square foot, 5 bedroom, 5.5 bath multi-level home located just 4 miles off of Hwy 59 in gulf shores. This home is directly on Little Lagoon(7 miles long) with a large beach area. Whether you want to spend the day on the beautiful, white sandy beach or swim in fish in the Lagoon, this house is perfect for you. The property is located directly on the lagoon perfect for little ones to swim without waves, but also just across the street from the gulf with easy walking deeded access to the beach.
The main level consists of a spacious living room area with a fully equipped kitchen and bar. Also, a fully equipped laundry room, master suite with private bath. The master suite on this main level has a king size bed, walk in closet and private full bath with a jetted tub, separate shower and separate his and her vanity areas.
The second level offers 4 bedrooms and 4 full bath along with a wet bar that has a microwave and coffee station. The second master has a king bed with a private full bath with jetted tub and separate shower. The middle bedroom on this level is a bunk room with two sets of full bunk beds and a full walk in closet with full bath. Guest Bedroom #3 upstairs has a king size bed and the 4th bedroom upstairs has 2 queen size beds. All bedrooms have their own full size bathrooms. There are outside decks and access to them from each bedroom in the house. With wrap around decks on each level there is a water view everywhere.
This house is kid friendly and is the perfect house for a great vacation.

A 60 day notice (condos) or 90 day notice (houses) or 180 days (rentals for more than 13 nights) from arrival date is required for any cancellation to receive a refund of deposit. The $99 Reservation Fee is non-refundable and a Cancellation Fee of $100 will apply. If less than required notice is given, every effort will be made to re-rent the property. If we are unable to rent the property, no refunds will be due. If the property is re-rented at full rental rate, you will receive a refund less the Cancellation Fee and Non-Refundable Reservation Fee.

We did a joint vacation with 3 families including adults and kids and thanks to this house and its location, it was absolutely wonderful!! The lagoon in the back is priceless! It’s a very short walk to the ocean, and you get a pool! Everyone can spread out which makes for a very stress free and fun trip! The hosts were perfect! 10/10 recommend!

This rental was perfect. We had everything we needed from beds to pots and pans, to location. The lagoon in the back to the pool in the front,ocean within walking distance right across the street, and plenty of room for our entire family. Very family friendly area. The grill was definitely a plus. Fishing out back! For the first time ever, I didn't have to bring any of my own pans or go purchase any while there. Our family had an amazing time and plan to return. We definitely recommend this rental.

The home is absolutely beautiful and had plenty of space for our entire family. The location was perfect for a beach vacation. There is definitely problems with the locks on the doors being broken making this a hazard for small children and when I reported this I felt it should have been addressed immediately.We could not enjoy the front upstairs porch due to this and could not enjoy the ocean view. The kitchen had ants by stove and window . They did have someone come and put ant traps out eventually and spray with can of ant spray but problem persisted during entire trip. None of the T.V.'s in bedrooms worked properly and the lights upstairs seemed to have wiring problems because when one person turned theirs on it would come on in a different bedroom. The pool was not clean and had to call to get this addressed also. When paying this price for a vacation home I would like to have less problems, occasional issue is to be expected but I feel the overall upkeep of the home should be addressed.

The location of the property was great for access to the beach and bay. All of the bedrooms were spacious with each having own bathroom. The property needs some upkeep. Large blind in the living room would not go up and blocked the view to the bay. The pool was not clean and unusable which was a shame because that was one reason we booked the property. Other minor issues like the refrigerator missing shelves and lights not working. If these issues had been addressed prior to checkin, overall rating would be higher.

This is a great house to rent. You have the lagoon water behind the house which is calm so you can sit on the top deck or lower deck to enjoy or you go to the front of the house and listen and watch the waves top deck has a great view of the ocean main deck is also great. Love that you can pull under the house and unload at the bottom door. I will rent this house again.

This is the 2nd year in a row we have stayed at this property. Compared to last year the property had not been maintained very well. The “new” pool was steaming hot and was leaking, the dryer did not work properly, there was mold growing in several areas of the house. The beach for the lagoon area was grown up and covered when grass. The exhaust vents in the bathroom was completely missing. The property management company always responded to text messages but never answered our phone calls. Everything was done via text messages. Needless to say we will not be booking this house again next year.

20 of us ranging from 5 months to 52 years old. House was amazing, and suit our needs. The bay in the back, and pool in the front met the kids’ needs after splashing in the waves at the short walk to the gulf. Every bedroom with its own bathroom was awesome! Every bedroom with deck access was amazing! I would recommend putting ceiling fans on the decks to help circulate air, especially on the bay side of the house. Plenty of dishes to make our meals. Dryer did take some time to dry clothes and doors were tricky to lock. Other than that, no issues and everyone absolutely loved the space we had for the week! If I visit the gulf again, would definitely inquire of any housing you have, and will definitely recommend this place to stay to other large families! Thank you!

We had a wonderful time at your property except for a few things. We had no wifi for the whole 5 days, there is mold coming out of your vents, and one of the upstairs showers did not work. As soon as your dehumidifiers filled up the whole place felt musty. When we first came into the property all of the doors were unlocked, was just a little worrysome. The addition of the hot tub/pool was wonderful. Overall it was a wonderful experience, just wanted to make you aware of those few things

Positives: Plenty of room for our group of 17. Convenient and roomy food prep and dining areas with lots of outdoor seating as well. Beautiful views at the front and back of the house. New pool was a great plus. Maintenance call was answered promptly. Only problem was the porch furniture and exterior doors need a power wash and a little shower water dripping from the ceiling fan downstairs, which maintenance addressed. Enjoyable stay!

All of our extended family gathered for the holiday at this incredible house. It was very clean and had everything we needed to cook large meals. The view is fantastic from all four balconies. The check in and out process couldn’t have been easier.

Had a blast!! All ages came and all ages wanna come back!! Becareful of the backyard beach, buried some "dinosaur eggs" and 2 came up missing, they are buried somewhere back there. Good luck ! You cannot go wrong here. Everything was good.

Master bedroom downstairs and kids room upstairs had broken handles that did notfifty. That means we were not secure and could not lock all doors. Huge cocktoaches were seen in kitchen and family room. The internet connection did not work most of the time and would not allow all rooms to be connected at the same time.carpet on staircases was filty. Other than that it was nice.

Our family vacation stay at New Horizons was fantastic. The accommodations where excellent with everything in working order and clean. Backing up to the Lagoon with the private beach was perfect for our younger grandchildren, and everyone loved having the gulf beach just across the street. We slept 14 comfortably, and the large dining table and breakfast bar worked perfectly for meals and game nights. We will definitely look to return in years to come.

Your home is beautiful!! Having access to the beach and the lagoon was great for our family. We rented kayaks for the lagoon and walked a short distance to the beach. Home is set up perfect! Having a bathroom for every room is perfect! Everyone had their own space. Kitchen had everything you needed. The balcony views were fantastic, we could see all the fireworks around and even the big ones that went off at the pier miles away!

Nice large master bedroom but it would have been nice to have a dresser for our clothes. Large closet but only a few hangers.

The locks on the doors to the balconies really need to be repaired. Only one of the bedrooms with balcony access had working lock and/or door handle. Overall, fantastic location and a very nice rental.

2022 Spring Break
This house was amazing. Plenty of room for all of us. We had a variety of ages from 11-59. Everyone had plenty of room to have their own space, but a great gathering room for games & meals. Large kitchen & dining area were a huge hit. Plenty of refrigerators for storing anything cold. Outdoor charcoal grill was great to have. Lagoon side was much calmer for the kids. The walk out the door and hit the beach on the lagoon side was awesome. Property manager was very responsive to all of my questions. A bathroom in all 5 bedrooms plus one extra bathroom made for smooth sailing for everyone. If you're looking for a large house away from all of the noise, this is your place. Beach access was across the street, making for an easy walk to and from the gulf. I highly recommend this house and management company.

This house and property are amazing. The house is always nice and clean and super big. They have pretty much everything you need for your stay. I love that the kitchen is fully stocked and that there is an extra refrigerator! The private beach is always one of our favorite things too and the location is great. We had fabulous time. The house was everything that is was said to be, big, roomy enough for our crew of 12. The back area was a hit with everyone. The kids fished we floated. We sat out on the front porch and watch for the Blue Angels doing their practice runs. The beach watch just across the street and was easy to get to with the beach access path.
