A Golden Retreat is new to the Blue Sky program as of Spring 2021. A picturesque, gorgeous, wood-sided chalet with a large wraparound deck overlooking long-range, multi-layered mountain views and a rolling yard below. We promise this is exactly where you will want to watch the beautiful sunrises that North Georgia has to offer.

Picture yourself now, snuggled up in the open loft or relaxing down by the fire pit. Golden Retreat has everything to make your mountain experience the best it can be! Step onto the covered porch and make some memories next to the outdoor fireplace while awing over the Blue Ridge Mountains.

We just know this will be the perfect cabin for your next family adventure or even a couples retreat. Don't forget to make use of the fully equipped kitchen with Kamado Joe, & after a delicious home-made meal, relax in the large hot tub that overlooks the lush mountain views with a glass of wine.

Having a view in every room of the cabin is hard to beat, so we understand if you never want to leave! A Golden Retreat will have you thinking about North Georgia for years to come. We can't wait for this to become your annual vacation destination.

DOGS ONLY Guests are responsible for any damages that result from pets. No pets on furniture or in hot tub. Any delays in housekeeping because of pet hair on furniture, Guests agree to pay an additional housekeeping fee of a minimum of $25 with a maximum of $250.00 . Any pet hair found in hot tub or filter will result in a minimum charge of $100. This fee is non refundable.

A Golden Retreat is a tranquil 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom cabin that sleeps six (6) and offers the following:

King Master on the UPPER level with 60" flat-screen SMART TV & private bath with a tub/shower combo
King bedroom on MAIN level with 60'' flat-screen Smart TV & bathroom with tub/shower combo
Queen bedroom on TERRACE level with 60" flat-screen smart TV, deck access, and a private bathroom with tub/shower combo
Fully loaded kitchen with all stainless appliances, Drip coffee maker
Dining area off of kitchen with seating for 6 & Breakfast bar with seating for 2
Great room with 70" flat-screen SMART TV, and gas fireplace (gas only active Oct 1 - Apr 1)
Game room on TERRACE level with pool table & 82'' flat-screen Smart TV
Loft area with 55'' Flat-screen Roku TV with a Blue Ray DVD Player
Covered deck with wood-burning fireplace (a starter bundle of firewood provided Oct 1 - Apr 1)
Hot tub on a MAIN level deck

All of our cabin rentals are fully furnished and include a minimum of the following unless otherwise stated in the listing:

Fully equipped kitchen: Refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, coffee maker, dishes, glassware, utensils, cutlery, pots, and pans. Linens for each bed, 2-bath towels, 1-hand towel, 1-washcloth per person listed on guest list, dresser or closet for clothing storage, central heat & air, washer/dryer, vacuum and/or broom and dustpan, mop, internet, and propane gas grill. In addition, we provide a complimentary start-up supply of Toilet Tissue (1 roll per bathroom), 1- roll paper towels, 4- kitchen garbage bags, dishwasher detergent, dishwashing liquid and laundry detergent for at least 2 loads. Many of our cabins include more than this basic list of inventory items. The only items you'll need to bring will be food, beverages, and condiments.

Required Fees include $165 Cleaning Fee, $65 Damage Protection Waiver, processing fee, guest service fee, and 13% lodging tax

I have never rented a property that I wanted to return to. I will be back to this one for sure. I usually bring my own cleaning supplies, prepared to clean before I unpack. This wasn’t the case here, props to housekeeping! Great staff! Very friendly and quick to respond to my questions during booking and even what to bring from home.

My only complaint, is there were dog hair heavenly in the up stairs rooms, in the living area, and rug on the floor. I had my own blanket and i brought dog hair home with me. The house keepers need to do a better job of vacuuming.

As we do not have pets, I typically don’t book properties that allow pets. I needn’t have worried here because it was spotless with no hint of dog hair or smell - we just got to enjoy the adorable pictures of the owner’s golden retrievers on a rotating picture frame! The views truly were spectacular, the king bed on the main floor where we slept was very comfortable, and everything about this property made for an all around relaxing and enjoyable weekend. Would definitely stay again!

My family and I had a wonderful stay at A Golden Retreat! The house is beautiful and full of everything that you need to feel at home. We only left once for lunch - otherwise we made breakfast, lunch and dinner at the cabin! The space was beautiful and quiet. It was also extremely dog friendly - which made our experience even more cozy. We used all of the amenities and would forward to staying here again. Really loved the "check in" phone call. Blue Sky Cabin Rentals was so easy to work with! They were communicative, personal and they even called to check in on us the first day we were there. Everything was exactly like it was represented on their site.

We had a wonderful time and will consider renting this cabin again. We actually had to change our reservation because I didn’t realize you had to have a four wheel drive vehicle to reach the cabin. We were very grateful that blue sky allowed us to Change our reservation last minute. Have rented 2 cabins from blue sky and we had a wonderful time. We feel like prices are fair. Cabins are very clean and we’re stocked with everything we needed.

They had all the major and minor appliances (example toaster and crockpot)along with many staple items (salt and pepper, sandwich bags). It was just like being at home!!! PERFECT!!! We loved the wrap around porches with a dog gate to keep all the pets from escaping!! The hot tub was amazing!! The views were epic!!! There was plenty of space for everyone!! All 3 couples had a floor with a bedroom and private bath… so there was plenty of privacy for all!!! The game room with pool table was really fun. The fire pit was great !! Can’t say enough good things about this property!! Very friendly, knowledegable, and helpful. The Blue Sky staff was extremely helpful in finding the perfect cabin for our family! They found all the cabins that met our requirements and in less than 5 minutes, they gave me a list of sites to review. We discussed all the positive and negatives of each site along with all the amenities offered and I was able to select the perfect site!!!
