friendly staff, good location, very basic standard to say the least

On the beach on the quieter end, half decent restaurant next door. Air con worked about 95% of the time

Cleanliness was not good at all. Filthy marks around the room, and the light switch was black with dirt, No wardrobe so nowhere to hang your clothes although they did bang in a few nails so I could hang some stuff up.

Kde nefunguje to čo má...

Jediná ozaj veľká výhoda tohto ubytovania je super poloha. Raňajky kedy deň rovnaké ale veľmi chutné.

Cestujeme s 3-ročnou dcérou, tak som zámerne hľadala ubytovanie s klimatizáciou a chladničkou. Dostali sme však izbu na ktorej klimatizácia nechladila, chladnička bola pokazená a teplá voda netiekla. Následne nám bola chladnička vymenená za chladničku z vedľajšej izby a prespať nám dovolili na vedľajšej izbe, kde klimatizácia fungovala. Po 3 dňoch opráv klimatizácie, ktorá nebola úspešná, prišli s riešením presťahovať sa do vedľajšej izby, kde už fungovali veci správne (nemohli to urobiť skôr?). Čo sa týka výpadku elektriny.... Rátame s tým že sa to tu bude diať, sme v Afrike, ale na tomto ubytovaní boli dní, kedy elektrika nešla aj polovicu dňa. Neviem či to bolo chybou izby, pretože na izbe vedľa tento problém nebol 💁

Vi brugte en hel dag i Kendwa og synes det er lidt af en turistfælde. Gode strande.

Beliggenheden er god.

De havde ikke eget wifi, men brugte de nærliggende caféers og det fungerede dårligt. Ikke et så hyggeligt værelse.

Didn't like it

It's at the beach, location is good

My room wasn't as described with a sea view, I got the back room. There was no natural light and the Aircon didn't work properly, neither did the fridge. The breakfast was bad.

Guest house de très bonne qualité et bien placée

Magnifique emplacement sur la belle plage de Kendwa, un peu difficile a trouver, demandez aux locaux ils vous aideront :) Chambre très propre et spacieuse avec frigo et climatisation + ventilateur. Beau balcon avec vue sur mer. Petit déjeuner très bon et copieux Seulement 3 chambres dans cette guest house ce qui la rend intimiste mais au coeur de l'animation en meme temps

You get what you pay for...good location but little else.

Good location right on the beach. Good hot shower every day. Large room with aircon, fan and fridge. Private sun loungers for use of guests. If you book knowing it's shortcomings you will be less disappointed. The lady in the mini market who looks after the house is very sweet and helpful and does her best.

Terrible breakfast every day...very small portion, one day inedible. Unreliable wifi in room. Very noisy as located next to access path to beach. No service to speak of...it's only selling point is its location and reasonable cost. Just be aware this is not a hotel or even a B&B. Guests have been complaining about the bad breakfast and bad wifi for years but nothings has been done to improve.

amazing stay! loved it.

Before coming, I was expecting minimal service, but I got way more than I expected. Ndiro and his sisters are the sweetest people I've ever met. Breakfast would be served a little late sometimes, but always very delicious (shoutout to Bilal for being so patient with me and getting me everything I needed!) It's literally on the beach, a 2-minute walk to the water, and located near Furaha bar & restaurant. As for the wifi (i know everyone complains a lot about this) as soon as you check-in, the owner gives you 2 wifi passwords and you get to choose from either! one of which is that of the bar next door. Cleaning is done daily if you wish, the cleaning lady (also ndiro' sister) is an ANGEL ! God bless her, cleans very well, and is very attentive to what you need. overall, i loved the place, and I'm already thinking about going back asap!

maybe breakfast options, the fruit, and coffee are nice, but i hope there would be complimentary juice water, also there is no drinking water in the room , but you can buy some nearby.

Internet/wifi is capped and you'll use it quickly and then won't have anymore, vodacom signal doesn't work at the house

Comfortable but basic furnishings in a spectacular location.

The location is unbeatable. At the bottom of the steps starts the sand leading to one of the nicest beaches in Zanzibar. It's right next door to restaurants and activities.

The accommodations are very basic. It would have been nice to have an additional chair or table or suitcase stand inside the room. That said it was quite comfortable there.

That I had to wait so long to check into my room and they offered no discount. The bed was incredibly hard, hot water was not working for my unit.

Location was the only thing, that was OK there...and sunbeds infront of the house.

Bad working air condition (very loud and squeaky!) Poor and VERY late breakfast (every day different times - even start 9:30 or later). No water, no juices!...nothing, just coffee (problem was even to get a milk). Sea was hardly seen, as infront of the terrace there was big wooden cottage (seen on their profile picture). No Wifi connection, atleast in first row rooms ("sea view" rooms). Very hard and old looking bathroom towels.

The location directly on the beach and near the reataurants. The hosts were very nice and heplpful. Breakfast was huge and delicious. Bedsheets were changed every two days. Strongly recommend! Very nice people!

A wonderful stay in a beautiful location :)

The location is absolutely beautiful- right on the beach with many deck chairs right in front of the house to relax on. The rooms are exactly as advertised and good value for money.

Our air conditioner did not work for the duration of our stay, I’m not sure if it has since been fixed.

they don’t tell you, you have to pay cash so have to go to a money changer as there aren’t any atms, Wi-Fi non existent.

if the Wi-Fi worked I’d have been a lot happier, still decent value

it’s a nice location, next to a nice bar. very nice fruit breakfast 👍 room was big and clean.

Wi-Fi non existent, literally had to go and sit near the bar, even when it was shut to use their Wi-Fi for anything. cash only for the room doesn’t help, especially if you don’t know before hand.

Everything was great except for the harsh white light inside and outside on the balcony. Some warm white light would have been nice to make it more comfortable. Maybe it can be improved with lamp color or new warm white collored lamps? (just a suggestion)

Not a bad place, some things to fix though

Location was good, and the room was big enough and clean, comfortable bed. The breakfast wasn’t amazing but for the price you pay it’s ok. The only thing I didn’t like it’s the fact that they bring it too late, 8:30 but sometimes even 9, I personally wake up early and I’m on holiday to go see places and not waiting till 9 for my breakfast. Some mornings we left for excursions at 8 and we didn’t get to have breakfast.

I had hot shower only twice out of 9 nights.
