Welcome to Change of Sea-nery! Conveniently located less than one mile to the beach and its charming downtown, this 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom townhouse is ideally located in the Villas of Bethany West community, where you’ll be steps away from the community’s outdoor swimming pool, basketball and tennis courts, swing sets, and beach trolley stop.
The townhouse is beautifully appointed and features a fully stocked kitchen opening into a living room with a wood burning fireplace and a sleeper sectional in the living area. A large rear deck with a propane grill, an outside shower, and pond views makes this townhouse perfect for relaxation or entertainment.
The upstairs master ensuite bedroom and guest bedroom/bath offer a sanctuary to recharge after a day in the sun. Restaurants and retail are within walking distance, as is the community pier, which allows you to access to the Salt Pond and Bethany Loop Canal for kayaking, canoeing, paddle boarding, crabbing, or fishing. You’ll also benefit from having an in-town parking permit to make getting to the beach and around town a breeze!

We loved the coastal beach vibe throughout the home. Furnishings were comfortable and the home was clean. The host provided a lot of good info about how the home operates (TV, light switches, etc.). The communication was great with the host. The kitchen was nicely appointed with everything I needed to enjoy a few meals at home. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will return next year.

Myself, my husband, and our two children stayed for a week at this sweet little spot in Bethany. The owner communicated beautifully and even reached out to support when I missed a step in the lease signing process. The unit is located in the middle of a quiet stretch of four homes and closest in the neighborhood to the pool/courts. Situated to the nature preserve we heard frogs and saw deer and majestic birds as we came and went daily. The parking pass was a major bonus and made our beach days stress free! The owners left a bottle of wine for us and the property was clean and ready as expected. My kids loved their bunk room and slept very comfortably. The house had a few items back stocked such as toilet paper and dishwasher pods. While we brought our own, it was a thoughtful touch. The outdoor shower was very clean and easy to access. It was a handy feature since we went to the beach almost everyday. This was a top beach week for us in part because of this lovely space.

This was a well deserved retreat for my husband and me. Everything is as described and pictures are accurate. A bonus is the location. This property is tucked into the perfect corner of BWV properties. Quiet and relaxing. We had perfect weather and enjoyed everything Bethany had to offer.
Thanks again to the host for providing a comfy, relaxing place for the week.

Comfortable and easy and great fit for Memorial Day weekend with friends in Bethany beach. Could walk to the main beach boardwalk down a main road. Property had a grill perfect for burgers and vegetables, fully stocked with kitchen supplies and outdoor patio seating. Online listing could have been more clear that towels and linens were not included, but we were able to call the provided linen/towel rental company on a Saturday and pick up everything we needed in 15 minutes same day. 2 clean full bathrooms with good showers. Property is across the road from convenient casual foods options. Wish the second bedroom had a full bed or even two twin beds instead of bunk beds, but overall a very good stay.

Clean, cozy property located in a wooded enclave. Easy access by bike or trolley (in season) to Bethany. Also easy access to amenities such as groceries and a couple of restaurants. Very well appointed kitchen with above average quality items much appreciated. Terrific communication from owners who clearly love and care for the home.

Conveniently located - short walk to restaurants & stores and only a few minutes drive straight to the beach & boardwalk! Townhome was clean, kitchen well supplied, & hosts made us feel at home with great communication, a welcome bottle of delicious wine, as well as being generous and accommodating with check-in and out times since staying off season. There was some water in low lying areas since we stayed directly after a tropical storm but it did not dampen our lovely too short stay. Would love to spend a week here esp if in season to make use of the pool and kayaks In addition, having a parking pass would be a wonderful plus during the busy summer months.

Great location .One mile from the beach , close to the canal and a short walk to get great lattes in the morning . Two minutes from great restaurants . Owner was very responsive to any questions and responded immediately .David’s home was very quaint , clean and comfortable . Everything was perfect . Loved the nature setting , pool and Pickleball courts . Highly recommend this vacation home

We enjoyed our stay very much. We were located very close to the pool and swings. The pool has a separate baby pool with a big umbrella cover which was great four our little one. We could also walk to several restaurants and markets which was convenient. The parking pass for in town was also a life saver with being able to get a good spot with all your stuff. The home was comfortable and well stocked. Highly recommended!

This is a really nice place for a single family beach getaway. The equipment, home and grounds are even nicer than the pictures with the pool and tennis/pickle ball courts within about 100 feet of the front door. Location is only a short one block walk to restaurants and amenities. Great and friendly hosts.

We love staying in this community. This house is located just steps from the pool and a trolley stop.
The house was clean and comfortable, and the kitchen had just about everything we needed. We enjoyed the welcome gift of wine, too. Everything was labeled and easy to find.
One of our favorite things about this community is that you're about a mile from the beach, but also see some wildlife. We saw a fox, several deer and fawns, a bald eagle and a hawk (we think Cooper's hawk).
We really appreciated some of the extras, like pool floats, a beach cart, and sand toys, because it saved us some packing space.

Once again, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the VBW. The owners of 743B had a very clean, tastefully decorated and comfortable townhouse. The pool is one of our favorite non-beach activities and there are so many other nearby amenities within walking distance. This visit would have been almost perfect if not for the hungry mosquitoes. :)

Lovely 2 bedroom place in Villas of Bethany West. Very clean. Kitchen is well organized and has everything you need. Beds are comfortable and sectional couch in living room fit 4 of us 15+ comfortably. Location is great about 1 mile to town/ocean.

Everything was so clean! As a former host and slight germophobe, I'm a stickler for that. There were a lot of great touches - lots of blankets and pillows, a really well-stocked kitchen, and everything we could think of in the storage room! And the resident parking pass is a big bonus.
The location is fantastic. We walked to a great little market every day, walked into town twice, and walked along the canal trail. The resident parking pass was amazing; we parked two blocks from the beach on Labor Day weekend. We didn't use the pool (we're beach bums) but its location right outside the door is great. The trolley stop is in front of the rental!

We've been vacationing in Bethany Beach for 9 years and have stayed at various units within VBW. Dave and Lauren's condo is clean, inviting and tastefully decorated. They were very responsive to our questions and very professional. We appreciate the throughtfulness that went into stocking the unit. They truly had their guests' comfort and convenience in mind. The location within VBW is the best. You're literally steps within being one with nature. The unit is also close to the pool and trolley stop. We'll be staying next summer!!

Great property! We liked being close enough to bike to town while also enjoying the peace and quiet of this neighborhood. The kids loved taking the trolley and the parking pass was a huge help in lugging all our gear to the beach.
The neighbors were friendly and the pool was very clean and well-maintained (can’t say the same for other places we’ve stayed in the past).
The condo itself was clean and updated. Little touches like hooks to hang things on and a hamper in the kids’ room were helpful. Well-stocked kitchen and lots of beach/pool toys available. It was also nice having the beach chairs and umbrella- definitely cut down on our packing.
David was helpful and responsive to any questions. Definitely would stay here again.

Lovely quiet retreat
We had a wonderful time staying at this townhouse. It is right off the Main Street into Bethany and close to the beach. However, it is also nestled back on its own with a view of the woods out of the living room sliding glass doors. The pool is also right next door. The house is charming and very comfortable. The host is very responsive. We would definitely recommend staying here.

Perfect location, great family rental
This property has it all -- walkable distance to the beach, but also trolley access and a beach parking pass if you prefer to drive. The pool is FANTASTIC -- huge and right across the driveway. We had it pretty much to ourselves during our stay. David and Lauren are wonderful hosts and extremely accessible (though we didn't even need to contact them because their FAQ document was so organized). Our young children, ages 2 and 4, LOVED the bunk beds and enjoyed playing with the children's beach toys provided (along with beach chairs, umbrellas, etc.) Bring bug spray, as the house is located in a semi-wooded area with a pond nearby. A very quiet, peaceful getaway spot that is still super convenient to everything Bethany Beach has to offer! We'll be back!

We really enjoyed our time at this townhome in Bethany Beach! It was clean and comfortable and plenty of space for our family of 5 (with 3 young kids)! Easy walk to the pool and trolley stop! There was wildlife all around and a little pond out back. We enjoyed the back patio to eat outside in the evenings. We loved all of the beach decor! It’s a couple minute drive to the town and beaches, and it was great to have access to the resident parking pass! We would recommend this townhouse for a great stay in Bethany Beach!
