About this apartment rental
On the top floor of an old building located in the old centre of Naples, the view looks over rooftops and domes and looks east to Vesuvius and to the west to Castel Sant'Elmo and the Certosa di San Martino, which sit on a hill.
This recently renovated apartment is full of charm and pervaded by a Mediterranean and eclectic feeling.
On the breath taking terrace, majolica tables sit under a straw canopy; terracotta jars, planters, small vases and Sicilian ceramics bring Mediterranean essences together, along with aromatic jasmine and ancient roses. In the background there is the murmur of a small enchanting majolica fountain which evokes relaxation before and after a dip in the populous life of Naples below.
The four guest rooms are, air, water, fire and earth; the four elements, which are very strongly present in Naples. On the walls, paintings, prints and photos all exhibit images of Naples and its surroundings. The elements are present in the journey in the pursuit of the fire that hatches under Vesuvius, in the water that glitters in the gulf, above and below the swarming earth of traffic, with eyes to the sky in a city that is also a symbol, an atmosphere, an idea.

Cerasiello was idyllic.
Like almost everything in Naples, its rough exterior belies what you’ll find inside. The neighbourhood is experiencing a regeneration after a long period of decline. The streets may look rough but we felt safe throughout our trip and loved that we started to get the locals and feel part of the community on our little street by the end of our five days.
Cerasiello is on the top floor. I was very glad of that lift, even though you need to feed it €.20 a ride. The property has four bedrooms, each with en-suite bathroom, surrounding a long sitting room, a small kitchen and a truly magnificent roof garden with a view of Vesuvius. We spent most of our time at home out here, surrounded by enormous potted plants that made it feel like a real oasis from the city.
The tasteful decor is a mash-up of traditional Italian with a bit of Sicilian and North African, giving the whole place a slightly exotic feel. The owners have taken great care with the lighting, including up lighters on the roof garden and small, stained glass table lamps inside to create atmospheric puddles of light throughout.
You can book individual rooms rather than renting the whole property; in which case the living room, kitchen and roof garden become shared space with other guests. If you only rented one room, ask for the one with french doors that open directly to the roof garden.

Great size and very clean apartment
We were two families (8 total) with plenty of space and each pair had their own bathroom. The check-in process was seamless and Stefania was very friendly. It was a hot week and each bedroom had A/C, which was fantastic. The common area and kitchen got pretty warm because the A/C unit in the center did not seem to function fully, but that was not a problem as we spent days outside of the apartment and nights on the patio. It is on the 4th floor so the stairs were a bit much. However, it had an elevator for 20e that could fit a subset of our group that didn’t want to take the stairs. All-in-all, we were very happy with our stay in Naples and recommend Cerasiello.

N’ayez pas peur!
Bel appartement conforme à la description, atypique et chaleureux. Dans le quartier de la Sanità ce qui peut faire peur mais locaux serviables et aimables. 4ème étage et un ascenseur qu’il faut payer 20 centimes à chaque « voyage »! Surprenant!! Comme Naples!! Bon séjour

Très bel appartement conforme à l'annonce
Bel appartement. Très agréable. Lits confortables. Bien situé bien que fort haut dans la vieille ville.
Nous avions loué tout le: appartement, nous avons appris que dans ce cas il n'y a pas de breakfast. Mais ce n'est pas un problèmes car il y a tout ce qu'il faut dans la rue.

Nice place to stay
Overall very positive and value for money. Location not the best but also not bad. Check-in very good. Improvement would be if management advise when showing others through apartments.

Bel soggiorno a Napoli, peccato per l’ascensore rotto
Appartamento spazioso, bellissimo terrazzo. Chi ci ha accolti è stato gentile e disponibile. L’appartamento è Comodo alla Metro e a diversi luoghi di interesse. Peccato per l’ascensore (che si utilizza con 0,20 cent) che ha funzionato solo la prima sera. 100 gradini veramente duri, dopo aver camminato tutto il giorno per visitare la città. Un po’ più di attenzione con la pulizia delle stoviglie non guasterebbe ...

Great apartment in a good location
We really enjoyed our stay at B&B Cerasielo. We rented the whole apartment, which is very comfortable and decorated with interesting artefacts from around the world. The weather wasn’t great when we were there but I can imagine the outside terrace space would be fantastic in the spring / summer. It is well located, a short walk to two metro stations, and surprisingly quiet given that it is in the middle of a busy part of town. We would definitely recommend it.

Appartement globalement agréable et bien situé pour des touristes
Belle terrasse, sympa (quand il ne pleut pas !). Chambres assez confortables, mais lit pliant très dur.
Le correspondant qui nous a reçus s'est montré agréable et disponible, il nous a bien conseillés et s'est chargé de nous réserver les taxis du retour.
Mais plusieurs facilités sont manquantes : pas de lave-vaisselle, pas de micro-ondes, pas de bouilloire, pas de TV (il y avait un match PSG-Naples !!!). Pas de couteau de cuisine qui coupe.
Les pommes de douche sont très désagréables, donnant de grosses gouttes qui ricochent partout et vous obligent à vous mouiller les cheveux si vous n'avez pas de bonnet de douche.
En résumé, nous sommes assez contents, mais l'appartement bénéficierait grandement d'un peu de confort supplémentaire.

Un nid douillet au coeur de Naples..
Confortable , spacieux , superbe terrasse ,Cet appartement est parfait pour une immersion en douceur au cœur du centre historique de Naples .beaucoup de commodités vous facilitent votre séjour ( métro à proximité , commerces et marché au pied de l'immeuble , principaux lieux à visiter à 10 minutes à pied....) . Et tout çà dans un quartier Napolitain très authentique...

Un séjour très agréable!
Appartement très agréable, spacieux (nous étions deux familles, 9 personnes en tout) et très bien situé (centre historique de Naples) dans un quartier vivant. La terrasse est très appréciable le soir, après une journée chargée en visites (quatre étages à monter pour clore la journée de visite mais en sachant qu'on trouve un havre de calme une fois arrivé en haut !). Les chambres sont confortables et climatisées.
Le suivi après la réservation est optimal (réponses rapides et efficaces). Nous avons passé un séjour très agréable, riche en visites et au calme une fois dans l'appartement. Nous recommandons vivement cet appartement!!!

We hebben het hele B&B tot onze beschikking gehad. Het is verassend gezellig met nette ruime kamers. De lift bracht ons steeds naar de bovenste verdieping. We hebben een fijn verblijf gehad!!

Loved Naples and the apartment was great
Naples is a fantastic city - we will go again.
The apartment is comfortable and in a friendly and old part of the Naples near the museums we wanted to see.
On sunny mornings we sat on the terrace to have breakfast which was lovely.
Luigi met us at the property and was very helpful.
