About this house rental
Summary:
Spacious home located near country club, with fenced yard and hot tub. The new hot tub is located under the deck, and you can access either through the deck’s staircase or off the walkout basement. For the chilly evenings enjoy the fire pit provided on the backyard.
The Space:
Upon entry the house, there will be a living room with plenty of couches for you to relax, talk or even take a nap. The Tv room will be located at the back of the house with a 55” smart tv and cable. Two bedrooms are located on the top floor and one bedroom on the basement. Total of five beds three queens and two fulls. One narrow kitchen on the top floor and a second kitchen on the basement with full appliances and basic essentials. There are two bathrooms, one located on the top floor and one on the basement.

The Neighborhood:
Lincoln’s Country Club Neighborhood has been named to the National Register of Historic Places - becoming the city’s largest National Register district and one of the largest in Nebraska. Local favorites include Pizano's Pizza, The Normandy Bistro, and the Grapevine. The Rock Island trail goes right through the neighborhood allowing easy access to nearby amenities including the Lincoln Children’s Zoo, the Sunken Gardens, and Star City Shores.
Getting Around:
One block from the house you will find a gas station, pharmacy, spirits store and Grapevine bar know for some of the best cocktails in town. Downtown Lincoln, the University of Nebraska and the Haymarket are just a 10 to 15 minutes drive from the house.
Other Things to Note:
All guests staying at the house needs to be on the reservation. We accept dogs as guests, however they need to be included on the reservation. We ask that you inform us about them and please don’t try to snick them in🐶. You are responsible for any damages that they may cause at the house.
Be aware we have recording cameras at all times on the outside of the house.
Interaction with Guests:
We are available mainly through the Airbnb app and will not stay at the house while you are there. We want you to have a great experience when staying with us, so please don’t hesitate to contact us if you have any questions, requests or concerns.

House is spacious, except for upstairs kitchen. Only one person can walk through it at a time. Cleanliness was iffy and the fridge had a horrible smell. The owner did not respond to emails prior to our stay and the morning of we had to contact VRBO directly to make sure everything was in order and get our questions answered. It is good for a large group, but know that it’s not going to be the nicest place you’ll stay. Adequate,m

We gathered for a family reunion and the home had wonderful visiting spaces for us all. The hosts were very responsive to questions/needs.

My parents and I came to Lincoln to visit my son at UNL. This house was perfect for us. There is plenty of room for a family, plus a fenced yard for kids and a dog. The location is great too. It’s convenient and easy to get to, yet in a nice neighborhood for going on walks.

Enjoyed our stay! Come into town to celebrate daughter’s graduation. Great sitting areas for socializing. Was able to accommodate many friends that came into town. Sleeping options were great. Enjoyed the hot tub and sitting out on the deck. Nice neighborhood for walking. Host responded quickly and answered all our questions.

This property was exactly as described. I was able to check in easily. The owner responded very quickly to texts. I had some problems getting in the basement but that was my fault. We didn't put the code in right. This house had space for my grandkids to play after the wedding. Would definitely recommend this house to others.

Nice home with loads of room and very conveniently located for our activities. Only complaints (these did not affect our stay or would they keep me from booking again)...the back windows could use a good cleaning, hench the 4 stars, and we could never get the wifi password to work. I would have pursued the later if we had spent more time in the house. Overall - very happy with the booking. Higly recomment.

This place was amazing and the price made it perfect! Very responsive host. Flew my family in to spend the holidays and couldn’t have picked a better place. I rent about about 5 VRBOs a year and this is definitely in the top picks. It has a great new hot tub that was super fun with the snow coming down. The house was clean and fully stocked with everything thing we needed for cooking and baking. Even had extras like spices/seasonings etc. Stocked with toiletries/towels/etc. Thank you very much for making our Christmas vacation amazing 😊

This property was conveniently located in a quiet, walkable neighborhood. Lots of seating, all amenities including a hot tub. We enjoyed our week here.

This was the second time we stayed in this house when visiting Lincoln for a family event.
Some of the things we liked:
- Large spacious floor plan, with full kitchens on both the main floor and basement. Plenty of space for parking.
- Outdoor deck, perfect for visiting.
- Airconditioning was helpful given the high outdoor temperature.
- Easy check in and out.
A couple of things to be aware of:
- The basement is quite dark at night, so bring a flashlight so you can find your way around in the middle of the night.
- The kitchens are equipped with basic items (and the downstairs kitchen stuff is mostly plastic), so bring special items that you might need if you'll be cooking much.
Otherwise, the house was comfortable and, while the floor plan is a bit odd, it did give us lots of small gathering areas.

I don't really know what the problem was. Communication was not good. I think the owner did not get the electronic transmission showing that I had reserved the property. I never received a confirmation number. Very frustrating and nerve racking.

Had a relaxing stay. Was nice enough one night to use the firepit which was great. Took the hour drive and went to the Omaha Zoo, it definitely was worth the trip. Enjoyed the hot tub a few nights as well. We've stayed here before and we will again.

Great stay for our family girls trip meeting at or halfway point! Living rooms were very large with plenty of seating. Mattresses were comfy firm memory foam. Hot tub was very enjoyable and easy to open. Close to groceries, food, and downtown. Very quiet neighborhood. Big back deck and fire pit in the yard but too cold to try it out. Kitchen was adequately adequately stocked with the essentials. Very narrow kitchen design so not great for multiple people prepping at the same time. Dining table seated the 8 of us well but would not fit more than 8. Wi-Fi and TVs were easy to use. Good property for a group or family visit!

We had a wonderful stay and the set up was perfect for our visit. Plenty of room for the four of us, close to fun activities and grocery stores. Very clean and well stocked and the hot tub was a plus....we are already planning our next stay.

Overall, this property listing was as represented. We brought together several family members for a Thanksgiving holiday and we appreciated the ability to spread out comfortably. Having a second kitchen was helpful, the hot tub was a nice bonus, and there were multiple sitting areas for visiting. Check in was easy and communications with the property manager were quick and responsive.

- The majority of the payment is not handled through VRBO...only the VRBO fee and the insurance coverage is paid that way. It was a bit confusing that less than a month before our stay payment still hadn't been arranged, so I reached out to get that coordinated and it took a bit of back and forth for it to happen.
- The kitchens have basic supplies, but they are not what we would consider well equipped. The downstairs kitchen had mostly plastic dishes and metal camping cups. And, (one of our pet peeves) was the lack of enough wine glasses.
- Towels were quite variable, with some a bit worn.
Bottom line: A great place to stay for a larger group, in a safe neighborhood and very large so everyone isn't on top of each other.

I haven't seen my boys since Christmas. So the thought of renting 3 hotel rooms for 3 nights felt really impersonal and expensive.
