Super nette Besitzer

Zu allererst einmal die Inhaber: super nett und hilfsbereit. Morgens um 7 wurde extra für uns ein Frühstück zubereitet. Gutes,vollmöbliertes Zimmer mit Büchern , Elektrogeräten etc. Entweder man mag sowas oder nicht. Ist Geschmacksache. Für uns war’s okay. Privater Parkplatz.Ganz nette Anlage mit tollem Garten. Gemeinschaftsküche mit großem Kühlschrank

Nicht wirklich gute Lage. In der Umgebung gibt es nicht viel. Ins Zentrum läuft man 10 bis 15 Minuten,zu den touristisch interessanten Plätzen noch etwas länger ( Ruinas 20 Min., Basilika 30 Min). WLAN Verbindung funktionierte nicht gut

Für einen kurzen Zwischenstopp geeignet

Das Frühstück war hervorragend, die Pensionsleiterin wunderbar freundlich und hilfsbereit. Vor den Aussenzimmer ist ein herrlich grüner Gartenstreifen.

Die Unterkunft lag in einem Wohnviertel, ohne Essensangebote oder irgendetwas drumherum. Ein Zimmer lag nach innen und hatte keine Fenster. Das meiste ist nicht auf dem neusten Stand.

Un sejour au cœur du Costa Rica

J'ai adoré mon séjour dans ce petit lieu de paradis au milieu des fleurs.. Votre hôtesse est adorable et prendra bien soin de vous, d'ailleurs c'est génial de pouvoir manger le déjeuner dans sa cuisine, j'ai vraiment aimé discuter avec elle. Vous serez à 2 pas du centre, de la gare et la gare routière (prenez peut être des bouchons car le train est bruyant). J'y reviendrai avec grand plaisir !!

Fijn verblijf voor twee nachten.

Ik eet nooit ontbijt maar aan de luchtjes uit de keuken te ruiken zorgt de host goed voor haar gasten.

De kamers zijn wat gehorig naar elkaar toe gelegen.

hospitable and friendly place

Excellent breakfast👌 one of the best I had in Costarica. Very, bery clean room and toilet. I felt like at home. Host was so nice and treated us like her guests not like the hotel guests😌. We had a very nice talk and she told us many interesting things about Costarica and Cartago. If I would have a chance I will stay there once again for sure!

it is very well located and the host is a very nice person

it’s very expensive, it’s the price of an hotel but the comfort is very far away from an hotel, particularly at this price breakfast was very cheap and not good

Nice basic motel in a bad location

Very hospitable owner.

Basic bedroom no shampoo or soap. Train next door, blows horns starting at 4:30 each morning. Nowhere to eat dinner in half a mile zone. Egg, rice and frijoles every morning. No fruit, no milk products

Beautiful and cosy place!

Unfortunately, my stay in Cartago was very short as I just needed to stay one night. However, it was worth it. I loved the place and the people. The breakfast was amazing; I felt like home, having it at a family table, surrounded by beautiful people and amazing conversations. I would definitely recommend it and will stay here again, if the future brings me back to Cartago. Thank you so much to Damaris (what a lovely human being!). Wish you all the best. Saludos y la espero en Portugal ;) un abrazo a Vero también.

Pricey but cute

Damaris is very nice and the house is typical costarricense. Breakfast is super good, and you share the table with other guests. The garden is so beautiful and peaceful.

Very expensive for the place that it is. Location is on the edge of the city and the parking is not owned by the property so they need to be in contact with that person. It took a while for them to open the door to us.

Lovely gardens, staff, beautiful house, quiet part of the city but centrally located, kitchenette was very useful, my bicycle was safe there, nice views of the mountains on the street outside

The bed was a bit hard, more like a box spring than a bed

Property was very pretty.

They couldn't find my reservation at first, even though I had made more than a month prior. The property was not marked and was very hard to find; had asked several people on the streets and had never heard of it. Finally an older gentleman knew of the place and he walked me there.

Awesome place

The host was so thoughtful, kind and lovely ! The location is perfect for a stop after a long drive. She recommand us some aera to see around, and her english is fantastic ! Thank you :)

Super location and best place to stay in Cartago!

Everything was great! The room was clean and we felt very comfortable. The breakfast is very delicious. The host is super friendly all the time and you can ask everything! We can recommend it for everybody. Such a lovely place. Thank you!!

Welcoming host, great breakfast and comfortable stay

At first I was surprised that this seemed like more of a homestay, but the hosts were excellent. It was a comfortable small room, breakfast was great and it was a very convenient short stay here before I headed to Irazu.
